moving !! ♥

it’s time at last. im moving to my new blog in hopes for a fresh start that’ll make it easier to be active here ! i do believe i’ve followed back everyone who had shown interest from there, but feel free to like this post if i forgot you. i’ll be coming back here occasionally in the next couple weeks to save some drafts and asks over to the new blog, so i’ll be sure to check if i missed anyone.

i’m not moving to hide - just to purge myself from the mutuals i felt weren’t actually interested in my portrayal. if you come across my new blog (which im sure you will), you’re very welcome to follow me over there ! i’ll probably follow back too, i’ll just be a lot more deliberate from now on about softblocking after trying to engage with people and feeling like my interest isn’t being returned. just trying to make this space more manageable and less discouraging at times by surrounding myself with mutuals who want to interact with me as much as i want to interact with them.

thank you for understanding ! i’ll queue this post a few times to make sure it makes the rounds, then i’ll properly archive this blog. thank you so much for sticking around up until this point !

ive been thinking (and talking) about this for a little while so this will probably not come as that much of a surprise, but i need to make a serious change here. i want to be more involved here and engage with my mutuals and write diluc more consistently but this environment just isnt right for me anymore.

ive been working on a bit of a revamp for this blog so i might as well do this at the same time. im still not sure if i want to remake entirely but either way i’ll be purging a majority of my mutuals. there’s hundreds of you and it’s not realistic to expect myself to have threads with all of you, especially with the average level of activity expected in this community. 

anyone whos talked to me ooc knows how passionate i am about my muse and the world he evolves in, but i still have a life outside of rp and i need to surround myself with people who treat it as a hobby, not a lifestyle. my dash is overwhelmingly active. i dont want to feel like i have to compete with people who post around the clock to be noticed, nor do i want my writing partners to feel like they have to post that often to get my attention. there’s really no point having +325 followers when it’s always roughly the same 10 who interact with my posts anyway. 

if we talk ooc and/or you only post once in a while and/or i often see you in my notes, you can ignore this. otherwise, i’d appreciate if you could like this post if you want to stay mutuals; and by that i mean if you’re genuinely interested in my content, not if im just part of your follower count. thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

not me trying to appeal to whoever will see this post to take 2 minutes to reach out to mihoyo and ask them to stop being cowards fix these boys’ hair. you can do that through whichever next survey they put out or just through customer support in the game. a simple ‘are you planning to update their model so its more true to their concept art ?’ would be enough to bring attention to it. an additional ‘i’d be willing to pay a lot more to try for them if they looked like this’ (even if it’s not true adsjfhgfdh) would definitely get their attention. do it for them they deserve their fluffy abundant hair
