He had crossed the bear as he was walking through the streets of town and impulsively decided to buy it for his husband. Watching Bill’s expression made Richie smile sheepishly at the author, shrugging. He waved his hand dismissively, humming.

“I was out walking and came across this beast in a window display. I went inside and bought it on impulse for you.” He replied, pursing his lips thoughtfully as he answered the man. Richie ran his hand through his wild, dark curls. “You don’t have to keep it. I know it’s monstrous.” He mused, smiling. @scribedhorror

“Um…” The author trailed off staring at the truly comically sized stuffed animal that was perched on his couch with the comedian standing proudly next to it in utter confusion. “Rich?” He began, finally pulling himself out of his startled state and approaching both man and bear almost cautiously as if he were worried the thing would suddenly spring to life. He wouldn’t put it past Richie to prank him with someone in a giant bear costume for his own entertainment.

Richie’s brow arched as Eddie jabbed at his chest. He expected this fully. He knew the other man needed to get it off his chest and Richie was okay with that. Rich hummed as he nodded his head, listening to Eddie’s angry ranting. The comedian sighed as he pried Eddie’s hands out of the male’s hair and held his hands. “I’m not trying to find a new fucking boyfriend.” He stated, calmly. “All I was doing was talking to him.” Richie told him honestly. “I was leaning forward because the god awful music was making it impossible to hear any fucking thing that was being said.”

Richie pressed his lips to Eddie’s head. “I don’t give a flying fuck about anybody that isn’t you. You are the absolute love of my life and you have been for more than twenty fucking years.” He commented. “I don’t even recall what the fuck we were fighting over.” Richie admitted, giving his love a sheepish grin. “Even when we fight over something, I’m always happy you're mine.” Rich laid his cheek against Eddie’s head. “Eddie, nothing in this world means as much to me as you do. Absolutely nothing.”

“I know you’re angry at me and you have every right to be angry because I am the BIGGEST idiot there ever was.” Richie remarked, reaching up to run his hand through Eddie’s hair. “No matter how many stupid mistakes that I make, loving you is definitely not one of those mistakes. Loving you is the one thing in life that I’m the best at doing and I’m going to keep loving for you until my very last breath. Even then, I’m going to love you in the afterlife if there is one. Richie’s eyebrows rose in surprise as Stan’s outburst. “Woah, hey! Chill, Staniel! Nobody died! We were as safe as we usually are on missions!” He commented as he set his bag on the ground and brought his hands onto Stan’s shoulders. “Only difference this time is we were having fun and being goofy.” Rich remarked, eyes flickering to Bill. If anyone could calm down Stan, it would be the blue eyed man. “Hey, Big B, a little help?” He asked, moving his hands off of the fuming Jewish male.

The Tozier male stepped back, crossing his arms over his chest. “There’s no reason to be freaking out, Stan.” He stated, frowning as he sat himself down on the curb. Richie pulled his bag closer and opened it. The male reached inside and pulled a bottle of water from the confines. “I mean, shit, I thought it was pretty fun compared to the usual boring missions we have.” The playful man sighed, waving his hand loosely.

Richie watched Stan’s back as the other male kept his back to Bill and himself. He turned to look at Bill. “Do you have any idea what the fuck he’s freaking out over?” Richie questioned. @scribedhorror @brokenwings1989

Stan could feel every nerve in his body on fire with anticipation and anxiety as the horde filed in around them. Of course his boys had found the entire situation hilarious. Their lungs were filled with helium as they were bashing the rotting skulls of the dead in. It had started all in good fun before the horde had arrived and now that they were in the midst of fighting the horde, both Bill and Richie were still finding fun and humor in the whole ordeal. The Uris male focused his attention on clearing the dead out before he turned his attention on the two males with him.

As the trio cleared the dead out completely, Stan dropped the spear in his hand and yanked his face coverage off. “Are you two fucking insane?!” He demanded, giving both of them looks. “What if that horde had been far bigger than what it was? What if one of you had got bitten? What am I supposed to do if I lose either one of you?!” Stan snapped, anger flowing through his veins. Sure they’d always been successful with clearing hordes they came across but what if this had been the moment that they weren’t successful? They were successful this time too, so… why was he so angry?

Stan brought his hand up and wiped at his eyes furiously. He huffed before turning away from both males. The last thing he wanted was either of them to see him crying. @derrysresidenttrashmouth @scribedhorror

As Richie had said, he had given his absolute attention (to the best of his ability at least) to Eddie as the male spoke. By the time that Eddie had finished speaking and asked if Richie understood what he was trying to explain, the Tozier male’s brows were knitted together. Richie remained silent for a few moments as he let the Kaspbrak male’s words process in his mind. Did Richie understand what Eddie was explaining to him? Not entirely but he got the gest of what he was saying. The dark haired male turned his head towards Eddie, looking at the other.

“You were biologically born female… but you’re male?” He asked, hoping that he was understanding Eddie’s situation fully. Chewing on his lip, Richie reached over and pulled Eddie onto his lap. He rested his chin on Eddie’s shoulder before speaking again. “Well, boy, girl, triangle, or whatever you identify as, babe, I still love you.” He shrugged, burying his face in Eddie’s neck. “As far as I’m concerned, you’re still my best friend.” Richie remarked, nuzzling the side of his neck. @inhaledlies
