He was fed up. Aether had avoided saying it for weeks. Slamming his hands on the table, Dew looked at Aether, who calmly had his tea placed in front of him.
"You know what I mean, Aeth. Its been weeks since you last said it." The fire ghoul spat, upset with his friend.
The fire ghoul wasn't used to Aether being so distant, only a while back he heard the words almost every day. It wasn't fair, he just wanted to feel loved too.
Dewdrop crossed his hands in front of his chest, meeting the quintessences ghoul gaze.
love :   my  muse  confronts  your  muse  about  why  they  never  say  ’ i  love  you ’  back. -Dew
One Word Prompts // open
--
It was vicious, Dew slamming his hands on the table in front of him, tail swinging as he hissed the words spitefully.
He supposed he deserved it.
It wasn't fair.
"What do you mean?" He asked quietly, hands cupped around the tea mug that had been rattled with the Fire Ghoul's tantrum, "I'm pretty sure I've said it before." He met the fiery gaze with conflicted dark eyes.

The fire ghoul shrugged, avoiding to look at his friend, "Its just.." he sighed making a pause. Chewing on his cheek, Dew thought about what he should tell the other. He decided the truth would be the best though he might have trouble finding words.
"I felt like everyone is avoiding me lately. And.. It got me wondering if I am really that horrible." The small ghoul shrugged, enjoying the attention to his head from Aether.
Dewdrop let go of the quintessence ghoul, his usual grin back on his lips, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pull a chick flick on you." The small ghoul hoped the other would let it pass but he had a feeling he wont be let off the hook that easily.
A hug from behind. -Dew
Unspoken Fluff Starters  |  Open    @dewdrop-ghoul
Aether grunted softly with the thump of impact against his back. The strangling of his ribcage made him wheeze softly. He managed to turn around a little in the vice grip and smiled down at the familiar short ghoul stuck to his back, the horns of his mask pressed between Aether’s shoulder blades.
“You know you saw me at breakfast right, Dewie?” Aether chuckled before reaching his hands around to pat at the fire ghoul’s thighs cheekily. He cracked one of the muscles with a slap and felt the little fiery ghoul stiffen with a growl. The sound rumbled down his spine, a warning to leave him like that or suffer the consequences of touching him again.
“Alright, grumpy.” He admitted defeat and patted the hands pressed into his tummy, humming softly as he rocked side to side, one leg to the other.

The fire ghoul huffed, playing hurt by the accusion of causing trouble. "I'd never cause any kind of mischief and you know that," he lied, grinning at Eilam.
"But I hope you have been a good boy?" The ghoul leaned closer, whispering in Eilams ear with a sultry voice, "or do I have to punish you, little bookworm?" Dew tried to keep a serious face but errupted in laughter only a few seconds after, hugging the brother tight.
"You should see your face!"
"Eilam, you art obsessed little man," the man exclaimed upon strolling in his room, "I'm back and I expect a warm welcome." -Dew
The man in question looked up from his book at the sound of his name, a smile crossing his face at the sight of his friend. Eilam hadn’t seen Dewdrop in much longer a time than he’d liked, and was more than happy to see the feisty ghoul again.
“Hey, Dewie!” Eilam set his book aside and scooted over on his bed to make room for the ghoul. “How have you been, my cute little fireball?”@dewdrop-ghoul

"Long time no see" the playful grin started dancing on Amber's lips the moment she came closer to the ghoul. "I can't believe it's been almost ten years since I last saw you in those halls" the blonde witch mocked him, waving her finger in front of her face. "You haven't changed a bit"
The ghoul stared at the finger in front of him, the feral beast in him thinking about biting it off for a second. "Long time indeed," he huffed, pushing Ambers finger away. "And with what do I deserve the honor of your visit?" Dewdrop eyed her up and down, trying to call back whatever interactions they shared in the past.

"Well, well, well... Look who's back" a familiar, but faint and smug female voice sounded through the walls of the hallway.
Dew thought he imagined the voice at first but upon poking his head out in the hallway he saw her standing a few meters away, "Well if that isn't a familiar face. Why don't you come closer and give me a proper hello?" he grinned under his mask, his tone playful.

The ghoul chuckled to himself, looking at his mirror. He's back from his trip and he is ready to party.

"Thank you Nora. The salve sounds good." He looked at the sister. Seeing her sad because of him broke his heart. "Food sounds amazing too. Especially if you make it."
The ghoul stood up, hugging the sister tight. "I dont know what I'd do without you," he sighed, leaning his head against her shoulder. "You dont even know how much you mean to me, Nora. Words could never describe it."
Rumor has it that fire lilies aren't your actual favorite flower. -- Sister-Nora
@sister-nora
“Oh that’s true my dear. Fire lilies are pretty but you are by far my favorite flower.” He purred, stepping closer to Nora, “And no flower smells and tastes quite like you.”

"I like talking to you too, Mint."
Dew wanted to add something but was interrupted by void trying to feed him chocolate. With a chuckle, he opened his mouth, allowing the kit to feed him.
"Thank you Void." He smiled, enjoying the attention of the chirping kit. "He's really cute, Mintymoo."
Dewdrop wiggled his fingers for Void, playing with the little ghoul in his lap. "Thank you for not hating me, Mint.. I know I am obnoxious sometimes."
"Mint." The small fire ghoul called her name upon entering the Den. "Minty, I have something for you." Dewdrop looked around, not finding the mother where he thought she would be. "If you're still mad, fine. But then I'll eat this delicious chocolate alone." -Dew
There was some foot steps as Mint stepped around the wall from the kitchen. Her sleeves were rolled up and she was wiping flour off of her hands.
“Woah there, I’m not mad. Just baking! “
She laughed and walked up to Dew. “Hey, I never say no to chocolate- sweet pea!”

“Aren’t you a little short to be called a fire ghoul?”
"Aren't you a little too rude to be talking to me? And have you never heard of a short flame?" He huffed, already annoyed by the stranger.

Dew moved into the touch, enjoying the contact with Ulans hand. The fire ghoul had missed his mate, every second without him had felt like an eternity. "Me too. I dont want to run stupid errands and do stupid things. I just wanna be with you. Be with my Ulan."
The fire ghoul moved a bit, rolling on his back so he could pull Rain on his chest. This way hes able to play with the ghouls hair, smile on his face. "Tell me what you did while I was gone.. I wanna hear your voice.."
Dew had been away a while. His heart ached. He had missed Rain. His lover, his friend, his mate. The fire ghoul took long steps to the water ghouls chambers, getting more and more excited to see Rain again with every step. When he stopped in front of the door, he hesitated a second, debating if he should knock. But instead he just went in, spotting Rain the second he entered. Silently, he went to him, wrapping his arms around him, pulling to lay on the bed in a tight embrace. "I missed you"-Dew
@dewdrop-ghoul
Rain had been so lonely lately, everyone off doing their own things while he’d been left to mope around the church and do small chores. Even all his ducks and frogs had left the pond so he’d taken to hiding in his room for the most part, sleeping or watching random shows on the TV he’d pilfered from a random room.
He was surprised, then, when someone lets themselves into his room unannounced, chirping loudly when arms wrap around him and pull him onto the bed. His heart soars when he finds that his mystery visitor is Dewdrop, chirping and trilling happily to have his mate back.
“Keighan!” Rain wiggles around to face the fire ghoul, purring as he nuzzles at the smaller ghouls cheek. “I missed you too… A lot…”

When Alpha went still, Dew knew he had managed it to greatly upset his Alpha. Exactly what he had planned to do. But he hadn't planned the hand around his neck, the little pressure not enough to cut off his air.
He was almost expecting the older one to grab his tongue and rip it out after his words but instead the grip around his neck was loosened. Dew waa surprised as he heard Alphas words but he tried his best to hide it.
Instead, he grinned, raising an eyebrow, "Oh? But would you have listened, old man, if I had asked?" He licked his lips, debating if he should take a big risk.
Everyone else would have backed off by now but not Dewdrop. His stupidness making his decision easy. With a swift motion, he pushes the other ghouls mask up, far enough to reveal his mouth.
With a grin, Dewdrop leaned in closer, placing his lips against Alphas, only pulling away after a few seconds.
"You smell disgusting." The small ghoul commented, wrinkling his nose, "Maybe its time for adult diapers?" -Dew
Oh how dearly he would have liked to punch the little shit and watch him spit out his teeth. It took all of Alpha’s will not to strike him, his fist bawled up against his thigh, hands beginning to tremble.
“It is called putrefaction; have you not heard that I am as rotten on the outside as I am on the inside?” Perhaps, just perhaps, if he owned up to the rot Dew would not realize that the comment stung.
He leaned in, towering over the smaller ghoul, and sniffed dramatically, “what is your excuse, then? You reek of shit; perhaps it is your skill as a guitarist that I am smelling.”

"Because those 'stupid flowers' are very important to someone we like." He huffed, looking at the ghoulette with anger. If it wasn't for the little self-control he had, he would have punched her by now.
"She is popular. And if you wouldn't have behaved like a brat towards her, you maybe would have been touched by her kindness. She has done nothing but good for our kind. So I expect you to atleast respect her flowers and her." The fire ghoul snarled, unhappy with Ardor disrespecting one of the only humans that cared for their Kind.
"I am just waiting for the day one of us has to put you back in your place" ~ArdorGhoulette
@ardorghoulette
“Put me back in my place? You’re making me laugh. As if someone who isn’t part of the higher clergy could ever put me in my place.” The ghoul huffed, looking at the new person.

Dew purred, enjoying the taller ones touch in his hair. It had taken him over an hour to get drunk but he managed it with a lot of alcohol. He wanted to get the bottle back but it was out of his reach.
"Do I need a reason to miss my friend? I just.." he shrugged, looking up to Aether, "I've been alone all day. Just missed you." The small ghoul had a faint taint of pink on his cheeks, the urge to turn his head away big in him.
The small ghoul had been drinking for a while know, his body draped ungracefully over the couch in the common rooms. Everyone else had been out, doing things while he had spend his time alone. Sighing, he took another sip only to then place the now empty can on his tower of other cans. Oh how he'd wish to have some company but he was sure that wouldn't happen until in a few hours. -Dew
@dewdrop-ghoul
“Is there a reason your sat here on your lonesome drinking us out of whiskey?” Aether laughed as he flopped back into the cushions of their large lounge sofa. Dewdrop was curled in the common room like an injured cat, pouting and upset, sprawled across the cushions with the bottle clutched close.
“Next question. Is there a reason you’re pouting like a kit who lost his sweeties?” Aether snatched the bottle of alcohol for a look at what Dewdrop was drinking, “How many of these have you had to be in that state, love?” Aether let the bottle be snatched back before he stood back up and nudged Dewdrop’s head out of the way to sit back down, letting Dewdrop rest his head in his lap, “Better?”

Dew huffed, disappointed that his idea hadn't worked how he wanted it to. Maybe he should try again? But before he could, Alpha already had figured his plan out, "Well.. Maybe? But it didn't work so.. Just forget it." The small fire ghoul sulked internally, his mind already trying to find another way to intimidate the taller one.
He looked around, making sure that really no one was around. When he was sure, he spread his arms sideways away from his body, forming a T pose. This is his try to assert dominance.
