A guide on how to become someone else but still be yourself

ok so its currently 11:04pm on a Sunday for me right now and tomorrow is school (i am fr gonna pass out). Anyways i thought it would be fun to write something nice and honest no sugar coating to try seem aesthetic (we will call this sleep deprived teenage girl core).

This is a guide on how to switch your life around but still be you at the same time (this is going to be a series of events im going to do to become someone else but still be me). "GIRL WHAT NOO YOU ARE TOTALLY AMAZING AND GORG YOU DONT NEED TO CHANGE" is what you might all be saying in a horrid and shocking tone of voice, but this is where you are wrong my gorgtastic gyals. You see im fairly ok looking and dress ok i think but its all about mentality and taking care of yourself. And that my little dumplings is exactly what im going to do.

step 1: find a new thing to do

im going to be honest i am NOT a sporty girly, i used to be one when i was in pre-primary until my downfall (thats a story for another day). Long story short im really insecure when it comes to sports or any form of physical activity, and that results in me being a weight im not proud of and it sucks. SO TO REGAIN THIS LOVE OF SPORT AGAIN AND TO BE HEALTHY AND TO NOT STAY A FATTY BOOM BOOM i shall be joining the football team or as americanos like to say SOCCER TEAM at school tomorrow. I will admit i am shaking in my boots right now because of how nervous i am but i have hope, i mean 99% of my time i am on my phone doing the most brainrot things ever or sleeping and stu(dying). So doing a sport is not only a new thing to do but is also good for your mental health (while at least doing the sport because if you a sports fan yall go mad in the head when it comes to supporting a certain team or club).

in conclusion my dear readers, i shall tell you how it goes and my next plans on my guide on how to be someone else but yourself but until then stay gorgtastic and fantastic my loves.

Reminder to me:Stop making that boy your whole world his not, you have a life, remember that, you have your relationship with God, hobbies and businesses pursue that.

Sometimes I get in a loop that lasts days of wanting to impress a boy but no more, God over any boy, God 1st. I understand now when people say get a life, like really focus on what you got going on.💌

Clothing

Hey boo boo bears it’s your girl Ano! Ok so like I was thinking on what to post I was like plotting “Mmh what would people eat up” then boom. An idea popped up and that idea my dear sisters was modesty. Now I know you are probably like sighing and rolling your eyes (if you keep rolling them eyes they gonna be stuck at the back of your head),but like modesty is such a good topic especially for my lovely daughters of God out there.

Modesty in clothing

1 Timothy 2:9-10

“Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.”

Now after reading that how do you feel?? babes, it’s okay take a deep breath in and deep breath out. The first time I read this verse I was raising my eyebrows and wiped my glasses twice cause I thought I was tripping like “not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire” the way I was about to fall on my knees and scream because I fr thought it meant like I should stop wearing braids and wear my Afro out which is such a STRUGGLEEEE (the girls who get it get it) and no fancy jewellery or expensive clothes?? Listen I’m broke but like majority of the clothing stores I go to are pricey so reading that made my heart drop. Girlies it is okay this verse does not mean stop getting the stuff you adore and love but it simply means to dress in away that honours God and keeping it classy not flashy. What I mean by Keeping it classy not flashy is that not wearing things that are too revealing, and I know it’s hard because we live in a generation that literally every story in the woman’s section a lot of the stuff are cropped and literally just a string of fabric. Like tell me why the other day I went to Zara and there was a skirt the size of a belt literally the definition of suns out bums out bro. And I can admit a lot of the clothing like that is super cute but I also need to remind myself that if it doesn’t honour God then it is not for me, and it’s really hard but like in the end there is a reward in heaven for me.

Tips + advice

My honest advice for dressing modestly for you girlies is try not to get clothing that shows cleavage or is maybe too short. Me personally I love wearing things that are a bit loose !! NOT BAGGY!! I love baggy clothes but sometimes slightly loose clothes are the way too go! Another tip is if you ever need inspo Pinterest has some really cute and easy modest fits! Remember girls that just because it’s modest doesn’t mean it has to make you look like a grandma (unless your fashion style is grandma core then go for it babes and rock that)! Modesty is honestly the most beautiful thing a woman can do so if you choose to go down the modesty path do it and rock it babes.💕🎀
