       . . ♥ . .  TODAY WAS THE DAY. Mipha had been planning how special she would make it for her friend. Today was not only meant to celebrate the completion of the over a year long project of remaking Zora’s Domain, but it was also the day she had planned to finally tell Yumi just how important she was. 

Last time Mipha confessed her feelings ( to a human ), the two were torn apart with the monsters being thrown below ground and the humans (including her love) remaining above ground. It was painful, not even being allowed a chance to say goodbye, last time seeing him with the promise to meet at sunset the following night to watch the stars together. 

Finally... after the pain the past hundred something years subsided, allowing her heart to find another. She’d just have to hope her friend reciprocated and enjoy every moment like it was their last. She finished stepping across the bridge, a bright smile on her lips at the sight of the other once more.

      “ Good Afternoon, Yumi !! I hope you are excited for today’s festivities !! ”

      . . ♥ . . SOME DAYS WERE MORE DIFFICULT THAN OTHERS. Her own mother had been gone for years now, yet the pain felt so fresh on days when she just needed a mother’s advice. Her father certainly did his best, but there were certain things that she would need a WOMAN’S advice for, and her father was not the best in the romantic department-- ESPECIALLY when it involved his precious girl. She had followed her heart enough against his will already, how could she bring herself to ask advice now ??

Eyes momentarily were cast up at the Gerudo, her current mother-figure. Just because she viewed the other in such a light, didn’t mean it was fair to cast that role upon her. She’d been trying to decide what to do for awhile now, and being stuck WAITING for the other Champions to catch up just left her with too much on her mind. Hands tightened around her sash as she tried to will herself to finally speak up. 

                       “ Urbosa...?? If I may... might I ask your advice ?? ”

       . . ♥ . .  LIGHT STEPS ECHOED THROUGH THE CAVERNS OF WATERFALL. Golden eyes gazed around, trying to walk slow enough to allow the child to keep up. She paused after a moment before holding a hand out to the human. “ It will get dark, there isn’t much lighting here. If you still wish to see my home, I will need you to hold my hand until we get to the glow rocks. ” 

Mipha knew most of the Zora there still held a grudge against humans, but they would never take it out on a child-- Especially one with their princess. Most of them had heard the girl speak fondly of the human, and some would even swear she had been speaking of her brother instead of a foreign child. With the divide her people kept with the rest of monster-kind, she couldn’t go to Chara’s home, but she could take her to see the Zora’s home. With how it glowed and glittered, Mipha was fairly proud of what they were able to make due with as well.

           ☪️ —— Air rushed into the pockets of chubby cheeks, raising them to squeeze round doe eyes. The tendrils that lie along her shoulders, and draped behind her back, ascend alongside the palms that cupped the curve of her face.

❝ Miss Mipha! ❞ She cooed, bounding excitedly up to her her scarlet-clad friend. ❝ Oh, it’s been long indeed! I’ve been… back home, ❞ she mused, a finger curled inquisitively before her lip. Oh, she must explain herself this time — how vague she was before. ❝ Trouble has been brewing in my absence there, but I do hope things have been more rejuvenating here? ❞

          . . ♥ . .    THE ENERGY THE OTHER ONE EMITTED WAS CERTAINLY CONTAGIOUS !! Mipha found herself feeling more rejuvenated merely being in the other’s presence once more. However, with the other’s words, Mipha found a feeling of concern slipping into her features. 

   “ Trouble ?? Oh I am terribly sorry to hear. Is it okay for you to be back here once more ?? Or is there anything I might help with ?? ” She spoke softly, fingers raising slightly to lightly cover her lips. Bon had done so much to bring up her own mood and help her feel less alone in the world, if there was something she could do to help, she wouldn’t hesitate to spring into action. While she knew so little about Bon’s home, she still wished to help. Though... perhaps all the help she needed was a friendly face and time away.

   “ As for here... It is calm from what I have noticed, what a relief that is. I still have much to learn about the world I am returning to, but I have just been taking it one step at a time. ”

Happy Labor Day, y’all! Hope you get to enjoy the day and get to relax !! There’s no relaxing when you work at an Emergency Animal Hospital, so I’m here at work. That means I'll also be queuing stuff up as it’s not busy. 

I’m also finally getting more confident with my appearance! I post a lot on my Instagram (quiiestis) and I post A TON on my TikTok (weavernessa). I may do some live events on TikTok too if anyone ever wants that.

She wasn’t sure when this started. Estellise just happens to meet the other one morning and from then on, it seemed she couldn’t wait to see her once again. It felt horrible as she felt this pain in her chest if she even entertained the thought. Of course, she met with her usually after sunset because that was when she was done with her duties.

Estellise was later than usual but it didn’t stop her at all. She was practically running to the usual spot and hoped she was still there. How was she running in her dress was something she would have to fathom if she had the time to do so. Spotting the familiar face, she didn’t stop running until she was in front of her.

“H…Hello.” Even though she was trying to catch her breath, the pink haired princess smiled.

    . . ♥ . . FOOT SHIFTED ON THE ROCK, READY TO PUSH AWAY WHEN A VOICE STOPPED HER. She came... like she always did. No actual request to come, no important reason needed-- just out of habit she supposed. But either way, the princess came, leaving that familiar fluttering feeling in the Zora’s chest once more. 

“ Hello again. I was worried I would not get this last chance to see you again. ”

Fingers tightened around her Trident as she kept her back to the human behind her. She fought to keep herself composed, not wishing to show the other how difficult this would be-- especially if she did not hold the same feelings as the water creature. In with a deep breath, out with uncertainties. 

“ I fear... this will be our last meeting. Everything is right again, so I am no longer needed. It is time I return to the ocean... and to my ever awaiting people. I am grateful you appeared just in time so I might bid you a proper farewell. ”

            “ Mmm... A few things, yes. I wasn’t always the most GRACEFUL child. ”

    He had been. The moment the Princess told him to leave her to do as she needed here in the Domain, Link had listened and obeyed. This was one of the few places in Hyrule he felt he could step away from her side without fearing for her safety in his absence. It gave her the opportunity to tend to what matters had brought them there, as well as him the chance to seek out his friend. As she had said, it had been too long since last they saw each other.

    And in the first place he thought to look, he found her. Even after all this time apart, he knew Mipha well enough to know where she went off to.

    A silent nod was his initial answer to her question, but then it occurred to him that maybe she had come out here to be alone with her thoughts, and he felt a rise of guilt for disturbing her with his presence. “Is that okay? That I’m here?”  

         . . ♥ . .  FACE SOFTENED WITH HIS QUESTION, LIP CURLING UP WITH A LIGHT SMILE. His concern was unwarranted, as any precious moment she was given with Link was something she would grasp onto tightly and never take granted. 

“ Of course it is. I am always so happy to see you. ” She responded with her gentle voice. Trident lowed to her side, allowing her whole body to relax. She needn’t worry about any hidden enemies or troubles when he was around. She could truly be at ease around him, something she would always appreciate. 

“ I was merely taking a moment away from Royal Duties to admire the peace of our land. From up here, you can see all of Zora’s Domain. It is truly one of my favorite places to simply relax. ” A few steps were taken towards Link, the princess merely wishing to be closer to her dear friend. 

                     “ I am happy to share the view with you. ”
