I never really came across Muggle AUs and Coffeeshop AUs until this year, and MAN I was missing out in life. Most Coffeeshop AUs also happen to be Muggle AUs, but not all, so I’ve decided to combine them in this post.

College, Muggle AU: Harry suddenly realizes Ginny is pretty. Fuck. This is one of my all-time favorite Muggle AUs! Harry’s epiphany is so hilarious, as is his fear that Ron will find out. I simply love Harry in this story. He feels so like the pining, angsty Harry I love, even when he’s a Muggle.

College, Roommate, Muggle AU: Ohhh, I just love this story! Recently injured football player Ginny goes to visit her brothers’ campus as she scopes out potential universities to attend. Given the lack of available beds, Ron gives up his room so Ginny ends up rooming with his best mate, Harry for the weekend. This captures the essence of the Harry and Ginny I love, the way they can’t help but be drawn to each other, and the ticks they need to choose whether or not to overcome.

Roommate, Muggle AU: Usually Muggle AU/roommate stories are fun and on the lighter side. Not this one! Harry is a freedom fighter against the evil Tom Riddle’s uprising group. Due to a botched mission, Harry winds up needing to hide out with his best partner’s little sister, who reminds him some things are worth fighting for. Very impressive world building and intensity all around.

Muggle AU, Coffeeshop AU: Okay, you know this has to be good because it’s not a Harry/Ginny story! It’s Ron/Hermione, and it’s so absolutely lovely (there are epic glimpses of H/G in the background). Hermione and Ron’s romance is so in-character. I love the growth of these two characters throughout the story and how they ultimately, realistically, come together.

a/n: This is my first Natasha x reader fic and I’m really happy with it.  I just love the idea of Nat and a single mom and them making a little family.  I’m considering making this into a series of blurbs.

Natasha was exhausted.  Her bones ached as she slowly went up the stairs that led to your apartment.  The mission was grueling, though she’d gotten back two days earlier than expected.  All she wanted was to curl up in bed with you.

But considering that it was two in the morning, you’d already be asleep.

The lock opened with a soft click and she pushed it open as quietly as possible, wincing as it creaked.  You worked long hours during the day and she didn’t want to risk waking you up.

Her heart warmed as she took in the familiar scene, the crayons that were scattered on the kitchen table next to a coloring book, the dirty plates left from dinner still in the sink, your jacket tossed over the couch.  This place had come home over the past year and she could even see little signs of her own existence dotted around.  There was a picture of your tiny family on the fridge, an extra mug set beside the coffee pot.

It was a strange feeling, having a family.
