2014 / 2017 / 2019

a few years ago, because of some stuff that happened, i could barely hold a pencil for the purpose of drawing before i would give up. drawing only resulted in a lot of unhealthy emotions and it was honestly the most miserable headspace to be in.

the purpose of this blog was mainly to have physical proof of my drawings somewhere as i got over my fear of drawing. i wanted to ease myself back into it, and encourage myself to love this part of me again.

looking back now, creating this blog was my first real step at my attempt to recover, to move on. obviously i hadn’t updated as frequently as i’d liked to have, but i can say with confidence now that i enjoy drawing again!!! i’m really proud of the progress i’ve made and i wanted to take a moment to celebrate it.
