okay important question: has anyone here ever watched or even heard of Prisma, a queer italian tv series ?
no cos i still have yet to finish it but it's so good. not only are the characters complex, relatable and real, not only does it talk about important matters that are usually frowned upon in italy (aka exploring one's own sexuality, gender !!, mental health issues and so on), but it's also so well-made, stylistically/visually/directing speaking (idk how to say it lol).
so yeah, if u haven't watched it yet, i highly recommend it !!
btw, the director is the same director of skam italia from what i've read.

shuffle your favorite playlist and post the first five songs that come up. then copy/paste this ask to your favorite mutuals š
Thanks for the ask!! I actually more often just shuffle an artist or listen to Release Radar than listen to playlists, so I just shuffled my "favorite songs" playlist in the library

Character: Elio Perlman
Appears in: Call Me by Your Name
Commonly interpreted as: Gay
But Really: The character Elio Perlman of the book/film āCall Me by Your Nameā is commonly interpreted as gay due to the story focusing on his attraction to and relationship with another man, but he also has sexual encounters throughout the story with a girl who lives in the neighborhood.
With many thanks to luca-guadagnino for this submission.

Character: Rachel
Appears in: Imagine Me & You
Commonly Interpreted as: Lesbian
But Really: The movie opens on Rachelās wedding; sheās getting married to a man named Heck. The two are happy together until Rachel meets Luce. Luceās character is written as a lesbian who rebuffs the attempts by Heckās male friend to flirt with her.
However, Rachelās sexual identity is not explicitly defined. She never suggests that the reason she canāt stay with Heck is because heās man. Instead, Rachel canāt stay with Heck simply because sheās in love with someone else: Luce.
Invisible Bi Characters welcomes any and allĀ submissionsĀ orĀ suggestions.

One time I was explaining to my dad how unfair it is that every big city has at least a couple gay bars but there are only like 20ish lesbian bars left in the country and he responded with "That's cause gay men have a good party culture. Lesbians don't have time to party, they're too busy debating the sociological implications of things and studying for postgrad degrees" and as much as I wanted to tell him he was out of line for that, as a lesbian who spends all her free time on Tumblr debating sociological implications and messaging other lesbians in discord servers where everyone has a PhD or masters for some reason I felt like I might not be the best person to make that argument

There's just something about change in this entire season and I've seen nobody talk about it. Like so many people were like divided into people can't change vs people can change. Like Rowan was entirely people can't change until they're forced to. Missy didn't initially believe Spider could change. Amerie's mistakes keep repeating too, she can't change.
And yet at the very end, we see Harper change and open her heart again to Ant. We see Spider choose the right thing and change too. We see Quinni constantly change herself, and then decide to say fuck it. Darren tries to change themselves and Cash feels horrible about the one thing he can't change.
Like idk, this entire season just revolves around change. It's everywhere if you look for it.

Today I had quite a strange encounter. I'm sitting with a friend at a diner, suddenly a guy comes and puts his mobile phone on our table and there's the Google translator for Chinese and the question is whether he can get to know me and if not, he respects the decision:D

Why do we use Mrs and Ms as different forms of address for women but not for men, you only call them Mr. and nobody cares if they are married or notš¤·āāļø
