Reblogging here as well since the design is part of To Who Knows Where. XD
@theblueskyphoenix's post reminded me that I, too, once tried to draw the Magmatic skins in DST, and made me want to do it again. Well, Wilson, anyways. This is her design, though, it's cooler. I haven't drawn this dude in a few years, I hope I remembered how pfft
Forge 1 was where it was at. I also thought this particular set of skins was kinda boring
Here are the old ones, from 2018 lmao, for comparison. I only got as far as Wilson and Webber. The above drawing is from last night

"Evenin'!"
"Oh! Ms. Wheeler! Can I help you with something?"
"Nah. Just heard from your kiddo you were doing some star mapping and was wonderin' if I could maybe join ya. Been wantin' to make proper maps for when go up in the sky with my balloon. So... may I?"
"Oh... Um... Sure! Be helpful to get input from an aeronaut so... by all means."
"Swell! Then let's get to it!"
Concept scene for later on when we get to Hamlet. It'll be a bit story wise but that won't stop me from making concept art like this.

Holy buckets this took longer than it should've. Started out as me making sure I had my outfits nailed down for Wilson in To Who Knows Where and then it turned into "Let's draw every skin! Oh, and let's redesign some of them!" ... Why am I like this?
Anyways, pretty self explanatory. Wilson and his various outfits from the skins he's gotten to this date. 16 total outfits. My hands are sore.
Most of them are pretty much the same save for two. Magmatic and Moonbound. Admittedly wasn't crazy about either of them so decided to redesign them. Quite happy with them. (And I guess Merry Maker since I took the holly out of his hair. It wouldn't make sense in To Who Knows Where how that came about so just normal hair for him.)
If more skins come out you can be this will be updated. For now... let me sleep. Also if you wanna see me take a crack at the other survivors let me know. (Truth be told I wanna do a whole redesign thing for the Magmatic since that set in particular is my least favorite. Let me know if that interests y'all.)
Oh and bonus thing because I wanted to do some silly outfits for giggles. See below the cut for the extra Wilson outfits.
I'm gonna go rest now... *thud* ... *pulls up IPad* and work on the next act. It's coming I promise. Just had to do this first.
One was for my sister. The other was for me. I had to okay?

Shadow and Moon.
Umbra and Alter.
Both will offer out their dealings of power, asking for something in return.
What They want is unknown.
Regardless, both are to be feared.
Lest you face Their unbridled wrath.

XD Maxwell is such a punk.
Much thanks to CuddleBetter for providing this beautifully funny idea and congrats on being the first to generate an audience based improv act.

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for reading the first chapter (act) of To Who Knows Where! With its conclusion a new part of the comic comes into play known as the Improv Acts! Where you, the audience, take on the role of Them!
That’s right, you all get to participate and throw whatever you like at our dear scientist. You can be nice, mean and even downright horrible to him! Though within reason. Don’t want to make it too easy or too hard. We need him alive after all for the story. The Improv Acts are to help capture the usual randomness that is The Constant when it comes to what you will encounter in a Don’t Starve experience. They will also help bridge the main acts and are basically the in between events leading up to the major ones.
The way this works is in two functions.
The first is polls. I will put out a scenario with three options.
Good End
Bad End
Comedic End
Depending on which one gets the most votes will determine how the scenario goes. Pretty straight forward. To keep it fair (and unfair, depending on choices) for Wilson, one option can only be selected twice in a row. When that happens, one option will be removed temporarily for one poll. It will be added back in afterward.
The second is through prompts that you will write yourselves in asks. This one does give you guys a bit more leeway since you can be very specific about how something goes. However, I reserve the right to veto a prompt if I think it’s too mean or for whatever other reason. My story, my rules. Also, keep it to characters that have been introduced. Anyone who has not appeared yet in the main acts can not appear in the improv acts. When they do, you may do as you please.
While I have you here, just so you know, headcanon and normal ask submissions are still being accepted. I might even draw comics for some of them depending on what it is. Though with these rules in mind:
Acceptable Submissions:
Character ideas, be it hobbies, quirks or backstory concepts
Lore speculations
Asking characters about stuff (audience interaction is fun once in a while.)
Unacceptable Submissions:
18+ Plus Content
Shipping Content
RP asks
And like with the submission for the improv acts I do reserve the right to veto the submission for whatever reason.
And that will be all. Looking forward to hearing from all of you. Have fun and remember… Don’t starve!
Aileen Rose
