Here's most of the gang I'll be taking to Christmas markets this weekend in #Bristol! ➫➬➭➮➯➱ My work's more about ideas and exploring creativity than it is about repeating a specific visual style or service. My way of thinking might be consistent, but my product types and the story behind each of them is all over the place, so branding isn't my strong point. To counteract this a little, I've tried to keep my packaging design and photography style consistent. So, when gathering stock for this weekends' markets, I looked at the little pile I'd made and thought, "Actually, yeh, it does kind of look like a nice little family! ^^", which is why I pulled together this image, see! · BUT. One of the products in the image above has a shadow that doesn't match the rest. NEW PROJECT : Rainbow Coasters 🌈☕️ Stacking glass coasters printed with semi-transparent cross-sections of a three-dimensional rainbow that appears to float in the centre of the stack. ≣ Designed to create a lovely object when not in use, encouraging users to keep them tidy and minimal, and make a talking point when entertaining guests. · I made these in response to a design challenge set by Yamaha Design Studio London and @keechdesign called “re-assemble” : a collaborative and conceptual brief challenging eight UK based creative designers / studios from different fields and backgrounds to re-imagine ‘building blocks’, adding new experience values and bringing a unique and personal approach from each of the designers. Aimed to be a collaborative and engaging exploration into how we can still extract meaning and delight from even the most simple ‘childlike’ objects. · Together with the designs from the other eight designers, these coasters will on show at this year's @thedesignjunction exhibition in the Canopy at Kings Cross, 19~22 Sept!
