Hi if anyone remembers me but I saw It ch. 2 yesterday and I loved most of it. The movie was long and it did drag on at some parts imo. Some of the jokes didn’t land with me and the acting needed improvement from the adults and kids (but mostly the adults). I did love the visual effects and the execution of how It arrived and the Ritual and the acting from Bill as well as the reddie and benverly content. I liked most of the changes from the novel compared to the unnecessary changes. Overall I give the movie a 7.5 and I’d definitely see it again (preferably w/o my mom and sister who were complaining about the runtime and asking who’s who the whole time)

Okay so before I get into this rant, it is full of spoilers for Pet Semetary so view at your own risk (even tho the book is like 30 years old)

Louis Creed is a dumb-ass

So Crandall tells this motherfucker Louis to not bury a person in the native american burial ground (forgive me for forgetting if the burial ground had a proper name), but what does this dumb-ass do? Buries his son and guess what happens? His son becomes an evil demon or some shit! 

Yes that was the best and creepiest part of the novel, but that old ass man told you not to and your dumb-ass did it anyway! So now your neighbor friend and your wife are dead because of your zombie demon son? You had to kill your son because of it? Sorry to hear that, but at least you’ve learned your less- oh. Oh you’re gonna bury your wife in the burial ground? Sorry? Oh because you waited too long with your son, but if you bury her ASAP it’ll be okay?

So that’s my rant on Pet Semetary and while the novel irked me to my core, it’s still my favorite Stephen King book, but jfc Louis.
