but tl;dr: i've been doing ews stuff in private as a way of processing things as a comfort thing due to some very personal reasons from the past 2 years (death of someone important to me), so i've been thinking about the past a lot. i've been wanting to write for ews again and i have a little bit (just for me tho. for now?)

so... lately i've been thinking about this AU again, but for very personal reasons (death of someone important to me) and i've been thinking about the past a lot these days for the past 2 years. i've been thinking about the AU cause a version of my younger self was there and that's the past and i've been thinking of this AU in a way to kinda help me process things.

so while the AU has been on indefinite hiatus for years now, i have been thinking of writing for it again (and i have written a little), at least just for me right now.

i have not drawn these four in years, except for Tord where i did draw him very recently (to make fun of him, but i make fun of all my faves so that's just the norm, but i have also been drawing one of my OCs with Tord again cause god damn it, their friendship is nice and i drew them for years and that OC makes me happy even tho i'm separating her from fandom stuff now. it's like having 2 versions of her). and Edd i did draw a few months ago for a little sketch in redrawing something i found in my old notebooks (which a friend has seen, and i may post it but i would wanna add other sketches first).

i ended up drawing their hair closer to how it actually looks in canon than whatever my past self used to draw them as (while staring at screenshots and references cause i haven't drawn them in years).

i think this AU has become a comfort thing to me again. altho not as much as Ion (Game of Dice) brings me comfort cause of how much i just relate to him, including IonNea since their relationship is just so healing. then again, i don't think anything will top how much comfort i get from anything Ion related, he's #1.

Saw I was getting notes again so I’m making this post once again to say that EWS is on indefinite hiatus. Has been for quite a while. Still don’t know when it’ll come back, I do want to eventually come back to the story but I would have to rewrite quite a bit as I’m disappointed in parts of the story back when I wrote and scripted it a few years ago. And it’s not gonna happen for a long awhile.

BUT... I’ve gotten back into making comics by making a series of fan comics for Game of Dice (a mobile game that plays like fast paced Monopoly but it’s anime styled and it has a story in it).

The comic expects you to already know about Game of Dice, how the game works, and a general idea of its story since this is for GoD fans, but if you ask I can explain the general idea of GoD’s story (on my main or art blog that is).

It’s basically about my GoD fan character, Nea Calais, who is invited to the Genius League (Game of Dice’s in-universe tournament), why she was brought there, and what she is doing there.

why use self inserts when you couldve just used paul and patryk as the time and space players? paul fits in great as a time player and patryk fits the mold of space really easily as well. plus they already have a connection to tord so theyd absolutely have a reason to be in the session- add on to it the fact that the number wouldnt be uneven (patryk could be prospit, paul could be derse) and itd be a perfect fit. do you just not like them or something?

There’s some canon that could’ve never happened due to the timeline of when the crew plays Sburb. At the point of time of when they play Sburb, Tord wouldn’t have known Paul nor Patryk. I can already say that Space Face and on is not canon to EWS due to it not happening in this timeline.

Also, the main four have character I can build off of. Paul and Patryk are side/background characters with barely any lines that would be a struggle to build character off of and I refuse to delve into the fandom’s fanon idea of the two, considering I don’t agree with what the fandom agrees as characterization for the two. (A lot of the fandom sucks at characterization in my opinion. I’m basing this off my experience as a character designer and from OCT experience as a judge and participant.)

Plus, Eddsworldstuck is meant to center around the main crew’s bonds.

Also, the self-insert will be explained in-story. Although, I don’t see Kelsey as my self-insert anymore considering how different she is from my real life and online personas.

What about Eduardo, Mark and Jon? What are their godtiers? If you need Space and Time players then I thought maybe Eduardo as a Space player and Jon as a Time player. It's an idea and I'd like to do fanart of the seven of them (Tom, Edd, Matt, Tord, Eduardo, Mark, Jon) as godtier but I'm not sure what Eduardo, Mark, and Jon's godtier are. I'd like to know so I can complete the art work. EddsworldStuck is an interesting AU by the way, I'm glad you made it!

Eduardo is a Derse Knight of Blood.

Jon is a Prospit Page of Space.

Mark is a Derse Thief of Time.

Eduardo, Jon, and Mark don’t have any importance in my Eddsworldstuck story, though. ‘cause they’re dead along with everyone else in the EW verse except for the main 4. (The universe and Sburb dictated that only the main 4 will survive, even though their session is doomed already.)

And thanks! I have multiple projects I’m working on, both original and fanwork, but Eddsworldstuck is planned to be released soon! Keep an eye out for any announcements of it!

I don't know if you know this, but I hope you realise the sessions doomed without a Space or Time hero. The Space hero has to breed the genesis frog that creates the new planet, as well as shrinking said planet. The time player fast forwards time on said planet to make it inhabitable for the players and the Ectobiology children. I just thought I'd let you know since I only saw the blog today.

And if anyone is wondering if the project is still going on, it is! I’ve just been working on it on the sidelines and keeping most of it private; mostly mentioning work on the script for the 1st act. (I say script because it works better for me to write a script for laying things out for a comic.)

Thank you and others for your continued interest in this project, even though it is taking awhile, but then again, it is a long term comic project so of course it’ll take awhile to plan for it, aha~

Okay so would Eduardo and his crew (including Tord's counterpart, Todd) be this AUs alpha group? Or do you plan on not including them/an alpha group?

I have answered this situation in the FAQ but I’ll state it again.

Eduardo and his crew [and everyone else in this universe] are dead in this alpha/main timeline of this universe of the game being played. Edd and his crew are the only ones in this universe with the game due to certain circumstances.

Where everyone from the universe is now is kinda left up to the idea of the reader. For me, I have placed them into a limbo after death and they can’t reach the final end of peace for their soul [sad and morbid, I know; I like my dark stories though]. But that’s just my idea since it’s not something that will canonly be touched upon, if at all, in EWS.

Feel free to headcanon and theorize what you please on EWS while I’m still planning out scripts for the EWS comic since not a lot has been revealed about EWS that would let people figure what they want until things are revealed in time in the canon EWS storyline.

I do plan on making a comic eventually. I’ve actually been thinking lately of stopping the written mirror where it’s currently at and restart it all as a comic using what I got written out so far and then just do the entire story in a comic. Although, I have too many comic projects planned out currently for my own original content and comics do take time to make, especially colored ones. And with how long EWS is suppose to be? Oh boi… That’s gonna be a long one…

It’s not that active right now since a question asking about EWS for different things comes in like once or so a month and I haven’t been able to draw or write any EWS related things lately due to writer’s block and having to focus on other projects currently.

Ah ok. also Tord's fem name is Tina/Tori. I like both but anyways. Would the fem versions of the boys be like the alpha group [dirk,jane,roxy, and jake] because their personalities are similar but different as proved by Matilda saying "Not the vase!" and Tamara drinking "ShirNuff" in Mirror Mirror.

Still honestly don’t like the names. That might just be me being the creator of so many OCs that have names chosen for special reasons since I like names that relate to a person or provide intel to who they are. A name can be very important. [Although, some of my OCs do have names that were chosen on a whim and just stuck…]

And in an alternate universe, where the fem versions have played the game [but are doomed to fail and possibly die no matter what due to lack of Space and Time players], they still have very similar personalities. Despite the small differences, they are still very much the same. The Betas and Alphas in Homestuck are all their own person due to the fact that their own alts are actually guardians of each other [ex: the Strider bros with Bro Strider and Alpha Dave being guardians to Dave and Dirk since that’s what the Scratch a.k.a. the reset did]. It’s nothing like the EW crew and the fem versions of them. Granted, we’ve barely seen anything about the fem versions but still, personality wise, still pretty much similar if not almost the same.

What god tiers would the female versions have? Or would they just have the same god tiers as the males?

I’ve already written a very short post about that on this blog but yes, they would still have the same god tiers. God tiers is more based on one’s personality, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Also, I do not base god tiers on one’s gender as I see all god tiers as being gender neutral [also confirmed by Hussie, I think, that for example, if someone who identified as female were to be classed as a Prince, a class known to be male gendered or male dominant, they could].

Just because they are genderbent versions of them from an alternate universe, they still very much have the same personalities more or less.

So, Ell would be a Seer of Heart, Matilda would be an Heir of Mind, Tamara would be a Knight of Breath, and Tori [tbh, don’t like that name for fem!Tord…, though it’s fanon though right?] would be a Mage of Light.

Edd’s bloodcaste is closer to Jadeblood [Maryam bloodcaste], although I’m not sure he’d be a Jadeblood. Him being an Oliveblood [Leijon bloodcaste] doesn’t make sense though. And Limebloods are extinct, so there’s that.

Matt’s bloodcaste is Violetblood [I think that’s what it’s called, it’s whatever the Amporas are on so yes, Matt is a seadweller].

Tom is a Ceruleanblood [Serket bloodcaste].

And Tord is a Rustblood [Megido bloodcaste].

…I should redraw their troll selves in my own style…

Bonus~! I’m a Purpleblood! [Makara’s bloodcaste] Although, even though some tests have put me as a Purpleblood, some other tests have put me as a Ceruleanblood. So, lol, idk~ I just do purple anyway.
