I think a lot of Anti's talking points are bullshit, but this one in particular really irks me. In the eyes of some Antis you can't even age up characters because "tHey'Re STilL mINoRs!!1!"

Never mind the fact that no they aren't minors because they aren't fucking real, are you seriously gonna tell me I can't write about characters would be like as adults doing adult things, including having sex?

What are your thoughts on people who out others for being proshippers and those who take screenshots of people's post to expose them for something annoying? Saying this because I had an experience with this before.

Awful! And weird! And just kind of pointless.

Because the thing is when people do that it's not like they're just showing screenshots either, they're always deliberately making points and observations to make it into an accusation. Like that bloody winnie the pooh blog at the moment that keeps going round, they don't just post screenshots but they make judging comments and such.

And that's an account dedicated to that with very few followers, if any. When a big account is doing this as sort of "proof" of someone being bad, it's so much worse. They take someone being a proshipper as an excuse to harrass and send hate to someone.

And if its someone big in the anti community, as a lot of these callout points usually are, it points a big flag to all the other antis, with similar mindsets (or even just people who don't really follow ship discourse but have seen this post making it out to be disgusting and awful) and so it just leads to the original person being harassed and hated on! It's dreadful!

It's like cancel culture where people drag stuff up, looking for problematic moments but just more pathetic cause all the "evidence" is people talking about fictional characters.

It's quite literally just a form of cyber bullying- yelling out a big sign to all gang up on this person! Or ostracise them from a fandom completely, which is why a lot of people have side blogs for this stuff!
