Okay this is not going to be a very official looking post because 1. I don't have the steam for it and 2. I think the timing with Dawntrail's release would probably not be great.

But I did a while back make a "WoL-y" (pronounced like the fish "walleye" to sort of rhyme with "July") monthly prompt list. Normally I'd attempt to make a nice little graphic for it, but after trying a couple of times and feeling dissatisfied I've woefully given up :'D (If anyone feels possessed of the desire to do so, by all means feel free!)

Alternatively if you want to just pocket these for later once the DT hype has cooled a bit, go for it! OR trim a couple out and make it a countdown to DT, I'm just setting them free. So without further ado:

What is your wol(oc)'s ancient's name? Why did you pick that name? does it have any symbolic reasons?

#he renamed himself azem (zeyma) because a) hes not culturally amaurotinian and b) #his early personality is half 'i wanna be an azem' and the other half is 'disrespecting the sanctity of the convocation as hard as possible #ancient who hates the convocation naming himself azem: I See No Problem Here #he does go by his original name with closest friends which is Damocles

What is your WoL/OC's favorite/most used weapon? Does it have a name? Is there something special about it, like cool powers or special materials to make it? Maybe some sentimental significance?

#his ifrit staff because you can hit people with it for that extra fire damage #and his pre imperial garlean revolver he keeps bothering the ironworks to fix #it is waterproof and recently after some large headaches at the g.i. Salt Water Proof now because he keeps forgetting he #has it on before jumping into lakes bogs salt mine run offs and oceans on WoL related duties #they dont have names

Your WoL has to introduce themselves to someone from another world, or under a rock, etc. Do they sound proud or humble?

#pre SHB #cannot think of a situation where hed think to introdufe himself as the wol #*introduce #but if they got to chatting and he was asked what he does/whats his job so to speak #tbh embarrased mostly i think #it would be difficult for him to explain honestlywhat *Warrior Of Light* means to people #he does not like to think about it and refuses with a cheery steadfast-ness to ever confront that #now #SHB i am thinking rn he would just dodge the question. too much guilt #EW i think would be the most alarming to people who do know him #because he would sound incredibly matter of fact #not because hes come to terms with it but because i think he'll simply be subsuming himself into a Role #i love all these ''my wol would just be like Hi This Is My Name'' notes i do LOVE in canon when #we just introduce ourselves by name and it takes several beats for the npc to recognize us #i dont know that its happened often but its so funny to me
