okay, i'm going to try to articulate everything i wanna say without missing anything. this is hard. the end of the season is always hard. but here goes nothing :)

i don't feel stupid for believing in this team. not one bit. take one glance at the regular season. take one look at their lineup. they earned my belief. fair and fucking square. but man, not only do you blow it, but you had not one not two but three chances to close it out. and you didn't. we're back at square one now. it's not going to be easy to over this one. but it's ride or die, and while it feels like i'm dying, i'm choosing ride until they do the fucking thing.

regardless of tonight though, i truly just want to say how fucking incredible you guys are. if you've left a message in my inbox, left a reblog/like, or even just stumbled across my idiotic blog at some point during this wonky season, i truly, deeply appreciate you. i've talked to so many lovely individuals and have met some truly amazing leafs besties (maddie, james, looking at you two <3). you guys are incredible. i'm so grateful to even have an outlet to talk about hockey and in a space where my chaotic thoughts during a game are met with the same chaotic energy. i've been in leafsblr for like 4 years now but this year was by far the best. and it's thanks to you guys.

where do we go from here? well god knows. ill be back on here periodically during the off-season, because my god, something's gonna change on this team. and maybe mitch does his twitch streams or something i dunno. all i know is ill be back, unhinged and hungry again next season. whether or not the team matches my energy is a mystery.

i think that's it. i hope that's it. thank you guys again for a ride of a season. ill reblog some other stuff later and fill the queue, but for now, that's all i've got :)
