The flower drank every word from that story. Granted, t'was a short one for her own taste but a story the felinoid held dear. It was a thing to admire. She smiled, every so warmly.

"And have you fought? War is one of the few things even someone like cannot see beauty in... war takes. War rips everything from one's clutching fingers..."

Her eyes grew somewhat sad, her colors fading. Memories? Stories of her own not having a similar happy ending than the Manager's? That could have been it, but whatever it was was shaken out of her own thoughts. Her colors brightened, but only slightly.

"My apologies... my own memories playing unfair tricks on me," she waved a dismissive vine, "think none of it, hmm?"

A patient smile greeted the response, followed by an ever so gentle shake of her head. The metallic, cherry red colored eyes, showed a growing thirst.

"No, my dear. You misunderstand. " A vine pointed towards the felinoid, gracefully moving back after the pointing was done.

"What of you? Tell me a story that holds dear to your heart. That brings joy, even if for the simple fact that you are aware that this story exists. "

The flower coiled onto itself and tilted her head. She would give her interlocutor her absolute, undivided attention. She wanted to see this person bask proudly in her own knowledge, her own recollection of history. Events SHE had seen first hand? Cherry was all for it.

I want to see what brings you joy, what stories shaped you, sharpened your fangs in search for even more. Show me your adoration for the past.

The plant smiled. Warmly, basking in a light that enhanced her features. Made them look far more enthralling than the flower had always endeavored to be. But her beauty, or rather its perfection, was not the topic at hand. Then again, rarely could she help herself with wanting to always look just as she claimed to be: prefect.

But back to the topic at hand.

"A tale told, from generation to generation. A simple cup, used eternities ago, that survived countless years of being forgotten to time. Idioms and facsimiles long having changed meaning because of the endless, ever changing march of life. Truly, History is a friend to be cherished and admired."

She slowly closed her eyes and lifted her head, as if to take in a warm ray of light only SHE was aware existed.

"I find even greater beauty in stories. When the right conversation partners join up... even the most trivial bits of history can be an intoxicating wine to drink from. "

Her eyes opened once more, with a tilt of the head to look towards TM.

"Do YOU have stories you hold dear?"
