hi! welcome to sweetjazzpride! i’m lorelai (she/her) and i like making epithet erased icons.
a lot has changed over the past couple of months, so it’s about time for a reintroduction!
main templates:
pastel / basic
duotone / shadow
semitransparent shadow / object / semitransparent object
text templates:
text on left / text on right / text repeat behind
things to note:
bebas neue (the font in the image is the default font)
the default color will likely just be a color that fits the theme of other colors included in the flag
this counts as an effect (see the rules)
adobe express mobile barely has any fonts. only the standard ones as of currently. due to the amount of them, this will be a separate post reblogged under this.
some of the basics:
pastel is the automatic default for any and all asks due to its general popularity. please specify if you don’t want any effects.
not all pastel affects are created equal. i use the “lighten” feature in adobe, which can come with mixed results depending on which colors are in the flag. i do not make this decision. as a rule of thumb, colors with more reds, blues, and purples tend to look better, while ones with more yellows, greens, and monotones tend to look worse. though, this is just from my perspective. if you enjoy asks with these color schemes in pastel that is perfectly fine with me.
i try to use the highest quality versions of flags possible. if i can’t find an available version, i might dm you. i also might dm you to clarify your ask.
i do not upload daily. i have not been consistent with asks and for that i apologize. but your ask might take a couple of days. if it takes more than a week i will try my best to compensate.
rules:
these flags are meant to be used by everyone. unless i personally know you, do not ask me to put your username on an icon.
no invalid sexualities / genders / disabilities. this includes but is not limited to super straight, MAPs, and radqueers.
no contradictory sexualities. this includes but is not limited to mspec lesbians / gay men. this does NOT include lesbians / gay men under the trans, aro, or ace umbrella.
two flags and characters per ask. the reasoning for this is because tumblr only allows me to upload 10 images per post at a time. if you ask for two flags and one character, they will be in one post (9 icons). if you ask for one flag and two characters they will be in one post (6 icons). if you ask for two flags and two characters, they will be in two separate posts (9 + 9 icons). no more than three of either of these. if you want an additional character, you can put it in a different ask, but not the same one.
three sprites per ask for the reason above.
up to three effects per ask in order to avoid cluttering.
keep all asks epithet erased related. i mean this in the nicest way possible. despite how good your intentions are, i want to try my best to stay as on topic.
keep asks SFW. NSFW accounts do not interact. i am a minor.
