Vienna Waits For You -Prologue- William Nylander

A/N: So I decided I was going to do something I haven’t done before and write an OC. So this is the start to a brand new series. I’m really excited about this one, and I cannot wait for you guys to really get to dive into the characters! But please know that this won’t officially start for another couple of weeks. Having said that, I hope you enjoy this little look into Avalyn and William. 

Avalyn Bradshaw Kreitzburg always saw her life as something that wasn’t her own. Between constantly having to put on an act, and the media that seemed to know her every move, she didn’t see how her life could be her own. It had been controlled by the people around her since she was a child.

She was told what to wear, which roles to take, what to say during interviews…everything. She wasn’t even sure if she could make her own choices if she wanted to. That was, until she seemed to find the opportunity of a lifetime. Much to her team’s dismay, Avalyn took the offer and flew to Toronto to begin shooting a series. 

She wasn’t sure how she was going to survive in Toronto for a year. Four months of prep before shooting began, and eight months of non stop work. She had four months to look like she knew what she was doing, even if she’d never stepped foot on ice before. Avalyn really didn’t know what she was getting herself into, but somehow she already felt passionate about the role. She really didn’t care that her manager said it could end her career.  Because maybe she had to end it on his terms to finally start living on hers.
