Do you have any advice on good paper brands (specifically colored paper) to use for linocuts? I have had some problems in the past with my paper not taking the print correctly. thanks!

im not super loyal to any particular brands i kind of just get whatever is not a stupid price LOL sometimes massive sheets of paper from the art store and cut it to size if thats cheaper. i usually linoprint on 250+ gsm card but thats just because i prefer thicker paper for stuff im selling

i had handmade paper (i havent in a while i miss her......) to print on but those werent super successful if youre looking for a super bold print bc it was very textured uneven paper... so fairly smooth/hot pressed paper might be a good bet? lalalala i love you printmaking

#im not sure what you mean by the paper not taking the print but it could be something to do with the amount of pressure or weight ur using?

Would you mind telling us more about how you use collage?

Your TRANShumanism minizine specifically is SO cool.

We do collage but it’s all abstract, haven’t quite figured out how to make a “thing” with it if tht makes sense.

oh i dont know!! a lot of my collage is misprints of printmaking stuff, i like using 'finished' bits of my own work to cut up and make differing compositions of/from the same image

here r some more pics of the cyborg zines that i posted on instagram where you can see how theyre all collaged differently! (some of the pages are fold outs).
