final destination characters and what movie/tv shows i think they would like

alex - the walking dead. has seen every single episode even though it’s been running for over a decade. says he could probably survive a zombie apocalypse. is the biggest glenn defender ever.

tod - community. 100%. when the movie got announced he went apeshit on twitter. he loves troy, has seen every episode at least twice, and actually liked the fourth season for some reason.

george - he doesn’t watch tv unless it’s like a sport. look at him. if he had to pick, brooklyn 99.

clear - shameless. she sat through all eleven seasons, would have watch parties with her friends, and liked to take notes on the psyche of the characters. she HATED frank with a passion and loved fiona. actually cried at both finales.

billy - my babysitters a vampire. claims it was his “childhood” and is still upset they ended it on a cliffhanger. rory def rubbed off on him growing up. he prefers the first season to the second but has seen each episode like a million times. will sing the theme song totally unprompted

carter - breaking bad. actually tried making meth cause he thought walter had the “right idea” with the money. is the kind of guy to retweet sigma male edits of the characters

terry - locke and key. watched it cause she thought the main villain was hot, and when he was a girl too she went crazy on twitter. live tweeted the second season, and will defend kinsey locke to no extent.

kimberly - first kill. clear or shania told her to watch it saying it was like a better version of twilight. (she loves twilight). she was on the front lines trying to keep the show from getting canceled. she has probably made an edit of caliette. she’s crazy like that.

rory - he also likes breaking bad, but he’s more into better call saul. saul goodman is HIM. literally so relatable and babygirl. he saw better call saul first, so when he showed up in s2 of brba he went APESHIT

eugene - abbott elementary because there is “finally” a REAL show about what it’s like to be a teacher. he also never gets into sitcoms so it was a shock for him that he liked it so much

nora - bones. she LOVES crime dramas on daytime television, and bones is no exception. she finds herself trying to figure out the twist every single episode. she also gets way too into the characters. (tim was explaining to her that bones was autistic coded and she went :o)

tim - kid LOOKS like henry danger, but i’m gonna say malcom in the middle. secretly wished for a big family growing up. alex told him that the father makes meth and since tim didn’t know about brba he was actively seeking out that plot line.

evan - literally anything with wrestling.

kat - the office. not in like, a “basic” way or anything but because she is a businesswoman and needs to feel included. she likes pam a lot. wanted dwight to die once. she got through about eight seasons before calling it quits.

wendy - i feel like she’s a house md fan??? idk why or how but it just makes sense to me i suppose. probably an rsl fan or something

kevin - okay unpopular opinion but i feel like he’s a huge fan of the will forte era on snl. he’s a will forte fan in general so he’s probably seen clone high, last man on earth and macgruber

ian - def a santa clarita diet fan. trust me when i say this man was having meltdowns on twitter when it got canceled. you have never seen him more passionate in his life!

erin - okay this is very unpopular and very out of character but she has a guilty pleasure show and that is dawsons creek. joey is her fave and she is Completely Normal about pacey + joey. her regular show is yellowjackets, however. god bless cannibalistic high schoolers

okay wait i wanna get some ideas down quick for my resevil!kimclear au

so it’s based off of the third movie, since i’ve seen all the movies but haven’t played all the games (sad)

so kimberly takes over the role of alice. she’s been turned into some sort of super human by the t-virus and is desperate to stop it. she fought in the battle of mount abraham (raccoon city) with kevin, wendy, kat, rory, and eugene, kevin and kat both died, something she blames herself for, and she lost the other three

clear is claire redfield (they were played by ali larter, that’s the inspo). she runs a convoy. when she first meets kimberly, she is both amazed and horrorfued by what she does, but warms up to her eventually. the two become a great team and even more because.. duh

other members of the convoy include nora, billy, rory, eugene, tod, alex, carter and a bunch of other folk. (i’m seriously debating killing off some guys, trust me i was in TEARS when LJ got bit in the movie)

nora is the convoy nurse. she lost her son and her husband in mount abraham, and has vowed to not let another person around her die. while billy mainly rides with her in the ambulance, she hates it because of how much he reminds her of tim.

alex is clears right hand man. he’s in charge of food supply and scouting, and is in a relationship with his childhood best friend tod.

speaking of tod, tod does tech work for the convoy, and is decent with a gun. he watched his brother die due to an undead, and as much as it changed him he doesn’t let it rule him.

terry is the sniper and the best shooter in the whole convoy. as fast as she is on her feet, she’s not the strongest. she used to be in a relationship with carter.

carter is the most aggressive member of the convoy. he’s incredibly hotheaded and did a lot of street fights before the apocalypse. they don’t let him drive anymore since he almost crashed into an on fire building

billy works the radio and communication. he’s probably the most upbeat member and tries to make everyone laugh despite the shitty situation they’re in. he’s also not allowed to drive anymore, but that’s just cause he sucks. he’s also a former boy scout

rory is a childhood friend of kimberly’s and fought alongside her in the battle of raccoon city. he mainly works on recon and gas. his best friend would be eugene dix, who was also present during the battle. he is also an avid drug user

eugene is a former schoolteacher who chose to drive the big ass reinforced school bus. given his history, he helps teach the young members of the convoy and uses his book smarts whenever he can.

anyway, my au follows a LOT of the third movie, but i try to change it up as much as i can. i’m still writing it!!! i wouldn’t want to post it as one big thing. it’s still something i’m working on, but i’m proud of it so far and want to see what other people think.

yes hi i am! there’s two admins now, me and my little cousin. (val - 18, sersh -17) we both like horror movies, deltarune, final destination. sersh started her senior year of high school recently, and has been swamped with classes. i myself am working two jobs and going to college, so posting can be kind of hard.

Pakistan is drowning, and we need help

Since July of this year, Pakistan has been affected by heavy nonstop monsoons and is yet to stop. It is only getting worse. Rural areas in Balochistan, Sindh, KPK, Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan are the most affected.

As of now, at least 937 people have died and over 500,000 homes have been destroyed along with livestock deaths and ruined infrastructure. The floods have left nearly 30 million people homeless

Most of Balochistan is still submerged. Locals are forced to flee and cannot account for their missing relatives until much later. More than 100 districts all across the provinces have been impacted.

Quetta, a major city of Balochistan, has been cut off from the rest of the country as the roads and highways are destroyed.

We get monsoons every year and we are used to them but this is not normal. We are in our 8th monsoon cycle when we usually get 3-4 cycles.

Two of the worst-hit provinces – Balochistan and Sindh – have received 298mm and 689mm rains respectively this year, which is about 400 percent more than the 30-year average. (c)

Along with the floods, there are also landslides and glacier bursts that have claimed lives and made the situation worse.

People from other cities were unable to get in contact with their affected relatives because they did not have electricity. The cloud cover meant no solar power either.

There are more monsoon predictions till September. I don't know how we're going to come back from this.

This is worse than the 2010 floods and the government doesn't give a shit.

This is going to have disastrous impacts on our economy and society but what does it matter? after all, the people are only there to vote, right? :)

It is the volunteers and NGOs helping, it is the public. There was no help when Karachi flooded and people died and they don't care now either.

final destination characters playing don’t starve together

alex - either plays webber or wickerbottom. he finds both characters fun and he made a google doc going over the pros and cons of each character. if someone new joins the party, he will offer them options depending on what the team needs. he’s also kind of an idiot??? he brought a treeguard to the base on day 3 and everyone went nuts. he also asks questions like “what’s a tall bird?” and then dies two seconds later.

tod - wolfgang main. when he’s sleep deprived in a vc he WILL scream “I AM MIGHTY”. he’s terrified of everything. he runs from killer bees, treeguards and was even scared of pigmen when he first started out. also terrible at managing sanity

clear - a willow main from when she was younger. if she’s not playing willow she’s playing wortox, mainly just to flex on her friends who don’t have dlc characters. she LOVES exploring and will also go crazy aaaa go stupid and burn random things for fun.

carter - if tod isn’t on the server, he’s playing wolfgang. but usually he plays woodie. he hates lucy and gets so annoyed by her ass. he’s also not a big fan of the werebeaver, but doesn’t mind the weremoose as much cause it’s fun to tank enemies. he is also always complaining and asking stupid questions.

terry - played wendy cause she thought they looked similar, and got really used to abigail that she can’t see herself playing anyone else. she ends up doing most of the fighting (tod), and she’s also a great source of butterfly/butter farms for crock pot recipes. she has a good time.

george - winona main. only plays winona, cant see himself leaving “his best girl.” he’s a huge sucker for the backstory of the characters and does crazy amounts of research and theory making. he also hit a beefalo one time and lived to tell the tale. he’s a bit smarter than alex when it comes to the game, but also a big idiot when it comes to gameplay.

billy - this man LOVES walter. woby? adorable, a necessity. the sanity mechanic? op. he’s great at managing his sanity as walter, like amazing. to be fair, he spends most of his time at base, farming or organizing chests. if he’s not doing that he’s exploring the caves or something.

kimberly - another webber main! if alex is playing webber she’ll gravitate more toward maxwell, since she loves them both a lot. she complains about walani not being in dst a lot. she also grinned for a ewelet to follow her around cause it’s adorable. she accidentally found the dragonfly desert on day 2, and was screaming incoherently for a good three minutes.
