I was mulling over everyone’s least favourite Mercyverse villain (Christy, who makes no fucking sense on any level) trying to figure out how to redeem that plot line and it occurred to me that what we really need here is a story from the perspective of the Kyle, divorce lawyer at large, observing a character who is clearly meant to be a weapons-grade NPD type.

(Actually, come to think of it, I’d read whole books of Kyle, actually functional adult gay dude who has Done The Work of addressing his family trauma, observing werewolf marriages with a bucket of popcorn. He could do a podcast with guest speakers. Peggy or Honey could co-host.)

Although it was enough for me,
