Nick levitates away from the wall and does a 180 degrees to face the loft. The thug hears something and shoots his gun towards Lisa on the second-floor balcony of the loft. Nick flies towards the thug and knocks him off his feet. Lisa sees this and yells, Alright! Nick still vamped out grabs the thug and hurls him across the loft into the window of clear bricks.

Nick snarls while levitating above the elevator door while watching the thug enter the loft. Outside the other thug runs across the roof with a gun drawn. Inside Nick continues to watch the thug as the thug crosses the loft cautiously with a gun drawn. The thug has no idea that Nick is above him.

Back at the 27th precinct, Schanke continues his conversation with Mr. Cooper, Lisa has a big hole in her life, and so do you. You can teach her never to draw on an inside straight, but that's no substitute for having a father there, telling a bedtime story, being right there, rock solid when she needs him. Mr. Cooper answer, You're not telling me anything I don't already know. Can we go get her now? Schanke answers, Yeah. Absolutely. She's with one of my best men.

Lisa walks slowly and quietly across the second-floor balcony of the loft. Nick snarls while still levitating above the elevator door. Outside the thug on the roof discards the tool belt of his fake technician disguise. Inside Lisa tries to quietly not make noise as the thug enters the loft.

Another thug using a ladder has made his way on to the roof holding a tv antenna. The first thug shoots out the lock on the door leading from the stairs to Nick's loft. Lisa screams from the gunshot blast. Nick with super speed levitates above the loft elevator door. The first thug comes into the door with his gun drawn.

One of the thugs makes it to a window and gets the window open. Nick tells Lisa, Just be quiet and stay absolutely still. Lisa stares at a vamped out Nick. The thug enters through the window he just broke.

Nick continues to walk through the loft and whispers, Lisa? Lisa comes out of Nick's bedroom and yells out, Nick? Nick looks up to Lisa who is on the second level of the loft. Nick still vamped out tells Lisa, Don't be scared, Lisa.

Nick yells, Lisa! We need help. Someone's trying to break in. Nick still blind walks toward a table with the phone on it and bumps into it. Nick knocks the phone receiver off its cradle and picks it up. He puts the receiver up to his ear and there is no dial tone. The phone line has been cut.

Outside Nick's loft, the thugs are climbing ladders to get inside. Nick still blind but using his vampire senses can hear the criminals outside. The criminals climb the stairs outside to the roof as Nick continues to hear them.

Back in the present, Nick is in the bathroom and still blind. He can hear the commotions outside the loft. Nick races out of the bathroom screaming, Lisa! Lisa, where are you? Lisa is crying upstairs in Nick's bedroom and doesn't answer.
