The 2020 MVP race in the NBA has been very interesting this year. I am happy to see Joel Embiid in the race since he is definitely performing  on a MVP level. But of course Lebron is some peoples front runner, but he’s not playing better than Embiid, Jokic, or Curry so I don’t think he should be number 1 on anyone’s list. The only reason he is in the race is because he’s Lebron and he’s 36 years old, these are not the stats that are measured when it comes to MVP so he shouldn’t be in the top 3 picks for MVP.

Recently Attack on Titan season 4 has been disappoint a lot of fans with the use of CGI models for the Titans. The new studio Mappa has sadly been using CGI to animate fights in the show which has disappointed many of the fans. WiT which was the studio who originally animated the show used hand drawn animation for the action sequences. But with the studio change Mappa sadly took up the project which has turned out to be a mistake. Mappa is a very well known studio with amazing capabilities, but they bit of more than they can chew in this situation. I hope they drop the series so later down the line, AoT can get an anime adaptation it deserves.

WOW!!! The new COD zombies looked amazing, the gun system and wonder weapon bring a fresh feeling to this iconic series, way better than how Black Ops 4 handled it. The coffin dance Easter egg is a hilarious little treat for the audience and I smile every time I see it.

Well this week had been absolutely crazy for the launch of the new gaming consoles that came out for Microsoft and Sony. They sold out their consoles in minutes and now people are reselling the consoles at insane prices. I was looking to buy the new Xbox the other day and was met with people selling the 500$ console for 800$, 1,200$, and multiple people selling it for 2,000$. I believe it is the same with the new PS5, this is probably the most insane launch for console gaming ever. I’m looking forward to getting one of the new consoles to see the hype for myself.

By the next week the new consoles for Playstation and Xbox will be out. This is exciting news because I play a lot of games on the console, and with a ton of new games coming the same day the console is released. This will be a big day for lots of video game players. I excited because I am most likely going to buy the new Xbox Series X with COD Cold War.

This week MLB baseball has completed the playoffs and are now entering the World Series, this year it will be the LA Dodgers vs the Tampa Bay Rays. This is the Dodgers third World Series appearance in the last 4 years, so it will be interesting especially since the Dodgers just came off a 3-1 comeback against the Atlanta Braves with a walk off homerun from Cody Bellinger. In the NFL there are only 3 teams that are still undefeated after this week the Steelers, Titans, and Seahawks, lets see who will continue this streak after next week.

This week the NBA finals are finally complete with the LA Lakers winning their 17th title in franchise history now tying the Boston Celtics in titles won. They beat the Heat who was one of the biggest underdogs in this years playoffs, they nearly swept the Milwaukee Bucks and proved themselves to be the best team in the East. What a great job they did, they struggled with injuries and depth to the team which was the main reason they lost in the finals, but it showed the world how good the Heat were, Jimmy Butler was a true leader on the court during the finals, he barely sat out in the games and played his tail off. It was flat out impressive.

Last Thursday, the new CoD: Cold War just released its new zombies trailer and I am so hype for this new chapter in Treyarch zombies. I love this series and all the news that came with it has just made me even more hype, now I don’t need to be conflicted with choosing between the new consoles coming out this holiday, because they made Zombies cross platform so I can play with my friends that are on a different console. Its been so long since I’ve been this excited for a Call of Duty game, I am almost at a loss for words. Also there is this new perk Elemental Pop that looks very interesting.

Anyway, I’ve been watching the NBA finals this week and boy am I disappointed in Miami right now, they need to pick it up before the Lakers sweep them. I want the Heat to win the finals so people will stop comparing Lebron to MJ, but people will still do that even if Lebron loses. Whatever, I just want a good series not a one sided sweep.

How I personalized my blog will reflect certain parts of my personality. While I’m using Tumblr I am still getting use to how the whole website works, so I am feeling unsure about what to post on here. But it will reflect an aspect of my overall character. You may see my profiles banner is the new Shelby GT500 mustang, this is because I own a mustang myself and really just enjoy cars in general, so I will probably post a car related thing every now and then. The next is my profile picture, I actually made this image myself when I was learning graphic design, I was really into the neon light look so I thought it would be interesting to have neon lights in an eyeball. I am also a very humorous person so you will be seeing some funny pictures or memes on this blog as well.

What categories did you check the most often?  What categories did you check the least often?

I only checked “this is me” and “humor”, because now I only really look at the internet for humor and things to make me laugh, also I look at the sports I play which is why I marked the categories “this is me”. I didn’t check any of the last three boxes, because I directly communicate to my friends and families, and I only look stuff up on the internet for homework. I don’t really look at the internet to make me feel any emotion other than happiness and humor.

What does that tell you about what you expect from internet content?

I expect the internet to provide me with a large amount of humorous content and basketball content to keep me satisfied.

How can you use this information as you are creating your own content?

I know what kind of audience I can appeal to based on what appeals to me.

Virtual Learning?

I think there are a lot of pros and cons when it comes to virtual learning, because we can achieve a lot online or anything could go wrong. Virtual learning is very difficult to have a great time, because of there are many factors that play into virtual learning. I’ve been on the blunt end of virtual learning, since I share my internet with a lot of people at my school, and when there are a lot of people doing the same virtual learning I am, the internet just doesn’t like to work. If I’m lucky enough to stay in a zoom call, I will only get to hear about 20% of what anyone says. It has also been a problem with me participating in class, the internet has a funny way of perfectly timing whenever I get asked a question my zoom freezes. That has happened at least 5 times in a week, sometimes it really gets on my nerve. The problem with online learning is that there is so many factors that are out of your control, you can’t control the amount of people on the wifi when its also them who are trying to use the wifi for online learning. I can’t control if the teacher of the class also has an internet problem, there have been a couple classes where I haven’t been able to see a class because the teacher didn’t have any internet to host the class. A couple of my teachers share the same wifi with me cause they also live on campus so they are very aware of how poor the internet is at school. While most of the problems have occurred because the internet was bad, there is also the chance that you can have electronic failure. With a virtual learning taking place all over the world you can lose electricity from natural disasters which can take weeks to recover from.
