Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, purveyors of the Pangaea TV, premium streaming media devices in North America. How’re you doing Dave?
 Dave: Happy Monday Mark.
Mark: So a bunch of updates happened this weekend, how’d that go for your customers?
Dave: Awesome. I pushed a fairly substantial update at the end of the week last week to make Pangaea more stable. Like any software update, the software is done to make it more stable and more user friendly and so I pushed that last week. I did a bunch of new add-ons to my configuration and over 200 customers so far have actually done the update and I’ve had 5 phone calls. So that just goes to show you that the process was really straightforward and really easy. I did a video walk-through and made available through my Youtube Channel as well as on my website and it was a very smooth weekend which I’m very proud of.
Mark: That’s great. It was easy for me to which is really surprising. So and you’ve got some new stuff happening.
Dave: Yeah, well with the change, I’ve added some new add-ons - a lot of my customers are looking for more HD content and so the new Pangaea config has another option for integrated TV show library and movie libraries and includes a lot more HD content. And so that was one of the reasons we need to move up to the newer version of the software, just because it allowed for that but that option. And I’ve started the process for a live TV Guide and so that is in the works right now for the latest Pangaea build and customers can actually see it in their current build. And over the next couple weeks we’ll be rolling that out and it will give them access to hundreds of live TV channels and there will actually be a guid which will show what’s on for the coming hours which has been a request from a lot of customers for a long time.
Mark:  And then I think there’s something else that’s new that’s coming up is that right?
Dave: Yeah and this is the best part of the hangout. So this is the current Pangaea TV, can you see that? This is the device that I’ve been selling for a year and is still very popular and I am now happy to report that the Pangaea Stick is almost ready for PrimeTime. This is a very small Intel product, it’s actually the Intel CompuStick - it’s not the Linux version, it’s actually the Windows version. It’s got 2 gigs of Ram and a 32 gig solid state hard drive, so it’s the more powerful stick and it’s actually going to be running the Pangaea software. So customers will be able to start ordering these in the next week or so. I’m very excited to announce the next generation of streaming content and streaming media which is this small, portable Pangaea Stick. More information to come on that in the next couple hangouts.
Mark: So if you’re looking for that best streaming media experience, constantly updated with step-by-step walk-throughs so you don’t get lost, you actually have the ability to keep improving your streaming media experience - Pangaea TV is the way to go. Give Dave a call, you can call him at 1-844-202-2727 or go to his website, tons of information on there - freemytv.ca
Thanks Dave
 Dave: Happy streaming!

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Vancouver. How’re you doing Dave?
 Dave: Happy Saturday Mark
Mark: So, it’s our thirtieth hang out together today and we’re going to do some more latest customer stories. What are your latest customer stories?
Dave: Well, they are actually all from today - two phone calls from customers. One customer has had my Pangaea TV for about eight months now and he has been keeping it up to date and he told me he’s going to Thailand in three weeks and going to be there for a couple months. So he wants to make sure that his Pangaea TV is 100% up to date - where he’s going he’ll have great internet but he doesn’t get any real Canadian content, he doesn’t get a lot of content at all, so he taking his Pangaea TV with him for the first time and he’s excited. So I told him that a couple day or the day before he leaves, he should reach out to me and we’ll make sure that his Pangaea is 100% up to date so he has the latest and greatest streaming experience.
Mark: So the Pangaea TV basically travels anywhere you want to go?
Dave: Definitely, I have many customers that take it over to Hong Kong, I’ve got many customers in the states, many customers who take it on vacation with them to Mexico - so yeah, it travels well for sure.
Mark: And what’s the second story?
Dave: The second story is from actually a gentleman from the East coast of the United States and he is very very familiar with the Kodi software and he is looking, on a recommendation from a friend, who actually isn’t a customer of mine, but he knows about the Pangaea and the hardware that I sell. He is tired of the inexpensive, cheap Android hardware that become obsolete, obsolescence, what’s the word? obsolete within months of buying it and there is no option to upgrade these Android boxes and his buddy said that my HTPC home theatre personal computers you actually get to update them and can add more RAM, add more hard drives whatever you need to do to make them fast. So he is looking for two machines for his home. He is currently on a very, very expensive carrier down there, called Verizon, and he’s paying $140 a month for very weak internet and not a very good cable package. So he’s looking to save some money and get rid of his cable and so the Pangaea TV’s are exactly what he’s looking for. You can upgrade them in a few years if you really wanted to, probably won’t  have to, and he likes the idea that the Pangaea Nuc comes with the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. So I got a new customer on the East coast of the United States as of today too
Mark: So folks if you’re looking for the best streaming media experience out there with the best service, a full range of everything - movies, video, music, tv, sports  - You name it, it’s pretty much all there. If it’s not there it will be in the next blink of an eye. Give Dave a call, you can call him at 1-844-202-2727 he’s a great guy to talk to or check out his website freemytv.ca. You can order their hardware in your pajamas. Your device will be delivered to you same day or at the latest next day. Anything else Dave?
Dave:  It will ship within 24 hours. Depends where you are, may take a few days to get there. Just want to tell everyone to have an awesome streaming weekend.

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV and we’re going to talk about low price boxes and maybe why you don’t want to buy one of those. How’re you doing Dave?
Dave: Great, how’re you doing Mark, happy Friday.
Mark: I’m good. So we titled this one why shouldn’t I just go and buy a $100 streaming media device.
Dave: Well, the topic for today’s hangout came from email I received from a gentlemen in Winnipeg, who was actually referred to me from a friend of mine, a customer of mine who’s become a friend and he’s bought a number of boxes and he keeps telling all his buddies to buy one. So he had a few questions about some local channels, is he able to get CTV Winnipeg and Global Winnipeg through the Pangaea TV and I responded to him, he had a few other questions as well, and I responded to him that no, currently those local channels don’t stream live, but it’s just a matter of time. And then he asked me you know, the difference between my Pangaea TV and my Pangaea Nuc and then in another sentence he said why wouldn’t I go and buy a box for under a $100 bucks. So I outlined the differences between the two boxes and why the price point difference and what you get, additional warranty, better hardware that sort of thing. I I told him I’m actually going to be in Winnipeg in the middle of the month to do some demo’s and just to see some people. So I said if you wanted a demo, by all means I can arrange to come out to his place and bring a box with me and I’ll set him up and I said in the meantime, go out and buy that $100 dollar box and just play around with it, you’ll have a couple weeks to play around with it, obviously find out if you can return it after 15 days or something. So buy it and try it out so when you see the Pangaea TV you’ll be able to actually compare apples to apples and I haven’t heard back from him.
But really the difference is is support. The quality of the product, but also the support that you’re going to get. With that $100 dollar box, there is no support. And trust me I know, I know the people on the Facebook forums who buy those $100 dollar Android boxes and they’re scrambling for support on the Facebook forum - how do I do this? - the box is not working - how do I update? - how do I do this? So I see the questions all the time. This is not working.
So the difference between what you get for a $100 bucks and what you get when you buy a Pangaea TV is the hardware and the service.
Mark: So what would you classify as the big difference in hardware?
Dave: Well, my devices come with Intel processors and most of the Android boxes come with the Atom chips and the lower end, massed produced chips that are you know, they claim to be quad core or dual quad core or whatever it is, at the end of the day the chipset is very weak. They are the kind of chipsets you put in a cell phone. So you know, they’re going to work, but they’re only going to work for only 6 to 12 months, 18 months maybe you can stretch it out. With my hardware it’s solid. You can actually open up the Pangaea box and you can actually add more ram. You can’t do that with an Android box.
Mark: So if you’re looking for something that’s supported, if you’re looking for something that’s reliable, if you’re looking for something that’s dated for you rather than being all on your own then the Pangaea TV is a solution for you.  Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation, we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Langley, er Vancouver, BC - I’m in Langley, Dave’s in Vancouver. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Thursday Mark.
Mark: So you have a little bit of an interesting experience in your latest install with the legalities.
Dave: Yeah, I was passed on a referral, a neighbour of one of my customers out in Coquitlam and so I was at their house and we were setting them all up and it was a little bit of a challenging install because the rotor is on the far side of the house in the basement and it was actually an older rotor so the signal wasn’t the greatest and I was’t able to get some HD hockey, which I know should of been playing. So I spent almost two hours at the house, kind of tinkering about with it and one point we actually got on the phone with their cable provider, their internet provider just because I’ve done that before with other customers who they think they have the great internet connection but in fact it’s maybe good for checking email and being on Facebook but for when it comes to streaming, no it’s not the greatest. Their modem is approximately three years old and so I thought you know what, I’ll see if we can get you a new upgraded modem because it will increase the wifi range and make sure you’re getting the best internet in the house. And so while they were on the phone, I was tinkering around with it and we decided at that point in time to actually move the modem from the basement on the other side of the house to right beside the TV making it a hard wire connection and sure enough it was a night and day experience. I always recommend a hard wire ethernet connection for your media box, it’s much better than Wi-Fi. While I’m in there doing that, his wife comes home and she’s very excited, she’s actually the one who’s been pushing to get the streaming media player and one of the first things she says to me, and they have two teenage sons, “Our sons say this is illegal” and I sort of paused and said “That’s usually the other way around, it’s usually the parents who think it, I get from older people, Is this illegal? and younger people, they don’t care.” So I assured them that this is in fact 100% legal because you’re not downloading anything, you’re streaming for personal use and all this content is on the internet, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They were cool either way, but it does come up every once in a while, not very often but I do get the legality question. So it was interesting. This was the first time that teenagers had made that statement to me.
Mark: So if you want a legal and effective streaming experience, the Pangaea TV is your answer. Give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727. Get world class customer service for your media enjoyment or check out the website, tons of information on there - freemytv.ca

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Vancouver. We’re talking about a customer who had some issues or had an incredible experience with some travel. Is that how that worked Dave?
Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark. Yeah, they had some issues and a quick phone call to me about 15 minutes and we were able to resolve their issues. I got a call on Saturday morning from a customer in Whistler, they actually live in Vancouver but they go to Whistler on a regular basis and they take their Pangaea TV with them. They’d gone out skiing and some ski lessons and their two daughters were not feeling very well so they decided that they would end the ski lessons and head back to their place in Whistler. Her daughter who is eleven just finished the Little House on the Prairie series and knows of the TV show from the ’70’s and was excited to watch the series, now that she’s finished the books and when they searched for it on their Pangaea TV they weren’t getting anything. It wasn’t coming up and I said well that doesn’t sound right, because I know it’s there. And we quickly figured out that they had not updated the Pangaea TV in quite a while and so I walked them through the process of updating their Pangaea and once they were all done, it was thumbs up. They were actually able to watch all the seasons of Little House on the Prairie and her daughter was very excited because she was on the couch with some hot soup and she was very happy to be watching the first episode of Little House on the Prairie on their Pangaea box.
So I took a situation that wasn’t ideal and we updated their media box and sure enough it worked.
Mark: So if you want an experience of being able to travel with your TV, get your entertainment, get all the kinds of entertainment you want in sports, you name it - old TV shows even - Pangaea TV is the answer. Give Dave a call, you can reach him at 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, talking about the Pangaea TV and the state of cable TV and content provision in Canada in 2016. How’re you doing Dave?
Dave: Happy Thursday Mark - I’m doing great thanks
Mark:  So, we titled this Canadian cable subscribers WILL have their rates going up in 2016. What have you discovered?
Dave: Well, prices go up, but prices always seem to go up on the big telco’s on a more regular basis than other things in our lives and after we did our hangout on Tuesday, I went to the CBC website just to kind of peruse the website and there on the first page was an article about how big telco’s are going to be increasing, starting in February increasing wireless rates and suspiciously they are all raising their rates by $5. And this just makes my blood boil every time I see these sorts of things. They always say they’re not working together, but inside they are working together. They won’t admit it but when you look at their plans to go to Rogers or Bell or Telus, all their plans with the exact same kind of service and within a dollar or two of each other. And sure enough, this article on the CBC website said they were going to raise their rates by $5 - each one of them. How do they come up with $5? Why isn’t it $3 for one and $6.50 for the other one, but it’s $5. And so once again, high business will always find a way to make money and as consumers, unfortunately just has to accept it. And it makes my blood boil. I get frustrated by it.
Mark: So how does that, so that’s wireless. How does that apply to a cable subscription?
Dave: Well when it comes to cable subscriptions, all the big cable companies are again, bleeding subscribers. I said it before, nearly 20% of Canadians have cut or will be cutting their cable in 2016, and so that’s lost revenue for them. The article went onto say that Rogers has already increased, or in February they will be increasing their cable subscription. Now in March, the CRTC last year, mandated the cable companies all over $25 a month basic cable package and make it possible for all cable subscribers to get an a la carte kind of solution where they’re able to actually get that, I just want that one channel, and I don’t want the bundle, I just want that one channel. Well in crunching the numbers, a lot of the experts have said that in fact it’s going to actually be more expensive. It depends on what number of channels you get, if you just keep basic cable, then yeah, it’s going to be $10-$15 dollars cheaper but if you want togo and want to get that channel, and that channel and I really want that channel you’re actually going to be paying anywhere from 10-20% more than you’re currently paying just to get that a la carte viewing experience. Ultimately Canadians will be paying more for their cable subscription and again will they be getting much more? No, they’ll be paying more for what they want to watch. It shouldn’t be that way.
Mark: No, so those that are not familiar, the Canadian CRTC is the Canadian radio and television commission or we Canadians lovingly refer to it as the Canadian government’s way of screwing the consumer by being completely in bed with all major telcos in the country and ensuring there is no competition.
Dave: Exactly, exactly. Another thing, if you don’t mind, Netflix yesterday announced or at least it was reported that Netflix is talking with their shareholders about increasing their rates. A few years ago, they tried going up a couple bucks on the service and they got so much backlash. Well it looks like they’re finally going that route and in the near future, probably quarter 2 or quarter 3 instead of it being $8 a month for Netflix it’ll be $10 a month. However, a caveat is if you want to keep it at $8 a month, not a problem but the shows you’ll be watching will be in standard def and the people willing to fork over another $2 a month will get the shows in HD quality. I actually think that’s a good move. I think that Netflix is definitely changing the landscape on how people get their content and when you push a lot of information, a lot of high def information, there a lot of work involved in that. So at $8 bucks, when I have customers who tell me, when I get the Pangaea TV should I keep Netflix? I say yeah, keep your Netflix because it’s mobile. You can have it on your phone or tablet. So I think this move is a smart move by Netflix because again it puts more pressure on the big telcos to up their game.
Mark: I read a thing where Netflix, a couple months back anyways, they were, during an evening at some point, I don’t know how they measure it honestly, but it was 37% of all internet traffic in North America was Netflix. So they are definitely pushing a tremendous amount of data so that has a cost associated with it.
Dave: Oh yeah, and just the quality of their programming right, Netflix is going to have 40 original series sometime in the next 12-18 months. They’re not the fly by night, you know, these are really well produced, almost movie produced quality series and I think it’s worth it, the $10 a month for Netflix subscription to get HD is totally worth it.
Now saying that, if you had a Pangaea TV you don’t have to worry about any of that and you also get a lot of stuff in HD but again for someone who’s not ready to pull that trigger, that’s a smart move.
Mark: So that’s the difference right now. There is an out, you can get off the telco craziness - so the telcos are Shaw, Rogers, Bell - are there any one else?
Dave: Shaw, Rogers, Bell… I don’t know, I’m sure there is but they’re not coming to mind.
Mark: That’s it in Canada who provide, there are some other small little players that bundle in but there’s minor savings if you use some of them to get your internet service. The option is to go with just bare internet and use your Pangaea TV which is something that we’ve done and it makes for an amazing experience. We don’t have to worry about these ongoing monthly costs that keep going up and up and up and are never are going to come down, they are never going to be reducing their price. They’re addicted to this online printing press that they’ve developed for money and it’s never going to change in my opinion. I have the grey hairs to prove I have some experience in seeing how this plays out and there will be no increase in service, forget that - we’re just raising the price and you should be thankful for that. Well get off of that train, use a Pangaea TV and stream all your content, enjoy what you want when you want it in HD or whatever. Old stuff that was never recorded in HD is not going to be in HD but you’ll have access to all that content. Kids Sports Movies TV - you name it, it’s all there. It’s an amazing experience folks.  Dave weighs in on Netflix moves to stop people watching US TV in Canada.
Mark: Hi, it Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, they sell the Pangaea TV streaming media device in North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So Netflix in Canada has just announced that there will be no more VPNS - they are gone. What’s a VPN?
Dave: Well, VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and they announced last week that they’re going to start targeting VPN services - VPN and Proxy Services that over a million Canadians subscribe to which allows them to gain access. So in this instance, when they log into their account, it makes it look like they’re coming from a US IP address and doing so allows them to gain access to a lot of the content that Netflix Canada currently doesn’t have access to because of outdated licensing  laws. And so, there is well over a million Canadians who have a Netflix account that currently access US Netflix and ultimately it’s going to lead to a lot of unhappy Canadians and at the end of the day, it probably won’t work.
Mark: So how are they going to be able to track all these VPNS and proxies?
Dave: Well, they’re going to target the service providers that are offering the service to not just Canadians, but people around the world. Who will be left with a less than ideal, in this case, Netflix experience because of licensing  of content rules, that they are forced to use technology and the internet to circumvent the blocks that are put in place by Netflix. Netflix has known about this, they’ve know about this since it started. There was an article last summer that they knew full well about it and they didn’t care. They don’t care about it, they’re still making their $8 bucks or $9 bucks a month. And ultimately, their goal is that they get bigger and bigger they can pressure the old school studios and the old school business, big business people out there to really examine the way that they license and put shows out to various countries, because at the end of the day, the internet is, is open. Put your show out there, make it available for everybody and so Netflix doesn’t have to try to block and restrict people. When you get a show, it should just be on Netflix World and anybody should be able to watch it. And so ultimately, that’s where they’re going with this and I think it’s going to fail. I actually know it’s going to fail.  It won’t work.
Mark:  Well it’s got to be like millions of proxies and VPNS and thousands of providers and they can just switch them.
Dave: Exactly, they just come up with a new IP block and they’re away to the races. So ultimately what it’s doing, it’s going to push, in this case, Canadians to start jumping through a few more hoops. Maybe not directly, you know, they might have to go from one VPN service to another. They’re very inexpensive, the VPN service - you can find free ones out there and then they range from maybe $3, 4 to maybe under $10 bucks a month. So they’re very inexpensive and the amount of content that the Canadians get via Netflix is really night and day. It’s about 80% more content that you get from US Netflix
than you can get in Canada. Ultimately it’s Netflix trying to bide some time, I think. You know, they’re growing, they are getting so big and at some point in time they’re going to continue on how to write the rules on how this all plays out. And as more and more of the cable providers here in Canada continue to bleed subscribers, the real pressure is coming from the cable providers. The Bells, the Rogers and the Shaws are trying to push this on Netflix and frankly Netflix just doesn’t care.
Mark: Or there’s another option which you provide. So how does Pangaea TV work differently in this regard?
Dave: Well, all the content that we watch currently whether it’s a traditional TV show or whether it’s a Netflix series, whether it’s a first run movie or your favourite hockey team, it’s all streaming on the internet. It’s been streaming on the internet for years. And with Pangaea TV and the configuration I make it easy for you to get all your content in one spot. No VPNing, no having to jump through hoops - you want to go and watch the hockey game - you can watch the hockey game - you want to go watch a movie - you can watch a movie.
I was talking to a customer today, a brand new customer and we just playing around and I said “well, think of a movie” - and she said “Sound of Music”. And we went and searched for Sound of Music and had it up and with a couple clicks we had the Sound of Music playing. And it was’t just the Sound of Music, it was the Sound of Music musical and it was the Sound of Music remake, and it was the documentary of the untold story of the Sound of Music. So she had access to all these things related to the Sound of Music that frankly, traditional cable and Netflix and those other providers can’t give anybody because of various reasons. With the Pangaea TV you get access to all this content because it’s on the internet and it’s available.
Mark: So if you’re looking to make your hills come alive with the sound of music, give Dave a call. You can reach him at freemytv.ca - check out his website, lots of great reviews, details about all the devices that he sells and/or give him a phone call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik from Free My TV - seller of the Pangaea TV, streaming media device.
 Dave: Happy Friday Mark.
Mark:  So we’re talking about an install he just did with a customer. How’d that go?
Dave: That went surprisingly, it went amazingly well actually! A customer called me, he was a referral from a long standing customer and he’s tired of the high cost of his cable subscription, his monthly cable subscription. I went over to see him, out in New West and I hooked him up and we got to chatting a little bit. He’s not a technology guy, he’s actually got an old phone from 2003, so when it come to technology, he’s not up to date with all the latest and greatest gadgets. But he’s definitely tired of paying for traditional cable for what he gets and how much he pays. So today I hooked him up with a Pangaea TV. I spent 45 minutes running him through, where to find all of his movies, he mainly watches movies and sports. And as we wrapped it up, he told me roughly how much he’s going to be saving. He’s saving, well it’s currently $125 per month. They were doing a lot of pay per view movies, or on demand movies and you know $5-6 bucks a pop it was getting to be very costly.
Mark: So how long do you think it’s going to be before the cable companies wake up to the fact that their incredibly expensive prices are just hurting them?
Dave: Well the trend is that Canadians are looking for alternatives, almost 20% of Canadians have cut the cable already. There was an article today talking about ShowMe and Crave are now available without a subscription. When they first came out earlier this year, you needed to have a traditional cable subscription to get access to them. So at least they are realizing that they have to evolve their business model. You know what, I mean, I can’t answer that question. They’re going to have to do something because they are being phased out already. HBO is going direct to consumers at less money than it was to get the HBO package through the major cable providers. So the studios are going direct. Netflix has really changed the landscape. Mark:  Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation; we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV and a little look into the crystal ball of the future of what’s going to happen with Pangaea in 2016.  How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave:  Happy Thursday Mark.
Mark:  So what’s up in 2016 with Pangaea, what are you got cooking up in for the streaming media aficionados.
Dave:  Well as always I am trying to move my customers experience forward and so there’s four things that we’ve identified that we’re going to be putting onto the Pangaea TV this year for customers, so current customers and new customers, to add to the large number of HD’s live streaming channels we currently have, we’re planning to add a lot more live HD streaming TV channels, so live stuff in 2016 and you know it’s going to be, there’s not going to be another streaming media player out there running Kodi that’s going to have as much HD content as ours whereas Pangaea TV, it’s funny, I always check in on my, the Android support page that’s on Facebook and every single day there’s someone’s screaming and hollering and asking for help in trying to find live TV and people always say, go here, oh and they come back and it’s not working, it’s down, oh yeah it’s down for a another couple days.  So my customers don’t have that experience which is nice.
The next thing we’re going to be doing is expanding the number of one click movies and TV shows so that the Pangaea TV and customers will be able to have access to literally thousands of one click movies and one click TV series.  Currently a lot of the add ons that are built into the Pangaea TV and a lot of Kodi powered boxes when you click a file to watch whether it’s a movie or TV show you have to select from sources and for a lot of people it can get real frustrating because sometimes sources just don’t work and so they spend a few minutes trying to get a source to work and so we’re moving our customers to a one click solution and we currently have a few thousand and a few hundred, a few thousand movies and a few hundred TV series that are all one click and so customers are currently enjoying that and the plan is to expand on that in 2016.
When I first started selling Pangaea my configs were over a gig and late last spring I was able to get them down to about 300 megs and over the last six to eight months they’ve crept up to be about 600 megs so as part of my customers experience to make their boxes and their, their streaming boxes fast as they possibly can my goals is to bring my config down under 400 megs which will make it faster; it will also make the updating process faster so instead of it taking on average five minutes my goal is to get it under four minutes, again it’s not a big deal for most people but for me it’s all about my maximum, maximizing my customers streaming time and then last but not least to expand our how-to videos.  Believe it or not I do have a number of customers who are, who like to tinker and so by doing more how to videos and how they can get the most out of their Pangaea TV it will make it an overall nicer experience and I’m still talking to customers now, I’ve been doing a thing where on the anniversary of the customer getting their box, the one year anniversary I’m actually calling up my customers and just to touch base, see how they’re doing, make sure they’re enjoying it, see if they have any questions and I still have a lot of customers who are learning more things about their Pangaea TV because there’s just so much going on.
So there you have it, they’re the four things that we’re planning to implement in 2016.
Mark:  Those are great changes as a heavy Pangaea TV user. Listen for streaming having to go through tons of things to find a stream that works is a real, can be a very frustrating experience even when you’re used to it and it just seems like there’s never something that’s going to work when it’s the show you really want to watch, not always but sometimes that’s the case and man it’s going to be just wonderful how one click viewing of all that stuff, thanks Dave.
Dave:  Thanks Mark, have a great day.

Helping a frustrated customer get good streaming entertainment.
Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, they are the purveyors, providers of the Pangaea TV, the premium streaming media device available in North America. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Monday Mark, I’m doing great, thanks
Mark: So you had a frustrated customer who wasn’t getting good streaming. So what is good streaming? What does that look like? What is involved in getting good streaming?
Dave: Well for my customers it’s actually having a solution that doesn’t force them to hunt for their shows and TV shows. Ultimately, it’s one click and you’re watching solution. That’s not always the case, but for my customers that’s the ability to find what you want in a matter of seconds, not a matter of minutes or hours and be streaming and hopefully buffer free.
This customer of about 8 months now, and never heard from them, everything was great and they contacted me over the Christmas break a little frustrated, but they were trying, trying to watch a Star Wars movie and for whatever reason, they couldn’t get it to work, it literally took them a few hours because it kept pausing and buffering every couple minutes. So he called me to ask me if that was normal and I said no, not at all, and so we looked at a few things. First thing I did was help him update the box, so it was up to date, and from there we did some testing and I decided, ok let’s reset the router because it just wasn’t working. It was working for me on my end, but wasn’t working for him so one of the go to’s I have is to restart the router. And it came back up after a couple minutes and everything seemed to be good and so we ended the phone call, about a 15 minute phone call and that was where I left it.
And then a few days later I got another call or rather a text from him and he was extremely frustrated because nothing was working. This wasn’t the case for him, everything had been working for him up to that point for the most part and actually did a FaceTime video this time so I could actually see what was happening on his Pangaea TV and yeah nothing was working. We ran it parallel, I was looking for the same show, same episode, same source, it was working for me but it wasn’t working for him. And at that point in time, he let me know that even his Netflix and his internet in the house wasn’t working very well as well. And I said, well it would of been nice to have known that. And it got me thinking a few months ago I actually reset my router, I didn’t just reboot my router, I actually did a factory reset and it cleaned up a few issues for me and I suggested he get in touch with his provider and trouble shoot with them and maybe request a walk through to factory reset their modem router and that’s where I left it. About 1/2 hour later I got a call from him and he apologized for taking up all my time but he was very happy because his Pangaea TV was working like it had been previous.
So some advice to people out there if you are struggling with some streams no working I recommend either rebooting your router and if it still doesn’t resolve the issue, do a factory reset, and I bet you dollars to doughnuts it’ll help.
Mark: So not the Pangaea’s fault, it’s the connection from the internet service provider that can in some rare cases, cause a lot of issues with how good your stream is.
Dave: Yeah, well actually what it is, a router modem is just a little computer and like anything it can get bogged down with just cache and just bad information and so like I said I recommend you restart a computer every once in a while, you restart your streaming media box once in a while. It’s good actually to restart and actually reset your modem from time to time, it will clean things up and make it better.
Mark: There you go. If you are looking for premium, expert help and have your streaming media experience be top notch and the content you want there, when you want it, the Pangaea TV is the best solution for you. Give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website - freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV talking about a Christmas party. He’s in full regalia today. How’re you doing Dave?
Dave: Happy Wednesday Mark, and Merry Christmas
Mark: So you had a bit of a Christmas party last night, how’d that go?
Dave: Yeah, we had a little gathering of some people over last night, about 45 people with their kids and so the house was fairly full and it was actually an interesting evening where the topic of Pangaea TV came up and for most people they had never heard of anything like it and so when we started showing it off, people were very impressed. The night actually started when people were arriving, my sons were actually putting on some Christmas cartoons - so we had Frosty the Snowman and How The Grinch Stole Christmas were playing back to back and as more and more people arrived, my son had a plan to move the older kids down into another room so they could watch older movies. yeah it was great, all the kids were excited and they ended up watching one of the newer released movies on one of the boxes in one of the rooms and as I was showing the box to a couple dads, a little girl came up and it was kinda cool because she said can you put on My Little Pony? - which is not a Christmas one and I said to the dads, “this would be a good test.”  So I quickly typed in My Little Pony and sure enough I got about four or five different shows or versions of the show and then within a couple clicks she was able to watch one of the episodes of My Little Pony. And so it trumped us being able to put on the hockey game but that’s alright I had to make her happy so she watched My Little Pony. It was a good night.
Mark: Awesome. So if you are looking for all the media that you could possibly want, all your TV shows, sports, movies, music - on and on from all over the world - Free My TV provides the Pangaea TV box. It’s the premium streaming media device available in North America. Get a hold of Dave at freemytv.ca or give him a call 1-844-202-2727. Merry Christmas
Dave: Merry Christmas, all the best to you Mark, thank you

Mark: Hi, it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here pre-Christmas with Mr. Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, streaming media devices. How’re you doing today Dave?
Dave: Happy Star Wars Monday Mark!
Mark: So I guess you’re going to Star Wars with a whole crew of young fellows, is that right?
Dave: Yes, 10 of us going in the next three hours and excitement is well, that’s an understatement, we’re all very excited to go see this movie.
Mark: So I guess today, we’re talking about an installation that you just did this morning with a customer, is that right?
Dave: Yeah, I was out in Pitt Meadows this morning to do an install for a long standing customer and she wanted to update, her kids are away for the next few days with their dad and she wants to surprise them with a brand new streaming media player in the living room. So she called me out and I set them up with a brand new Pangaea Nuc and gave her a tutorial while I was there and to show her the new interface cause she was on a much older streaming media player. So the experience is significantly enhanced the Pangaea TV Nuc and we spent a little bit of time going through everything. She actually mentioned, being Christmastime, that her favourite Christmas cartoon was Twas The Night Before Christmas from 1974 and for the last few years she’s had to put it on DVD for her to watch with her kids and she’s lost the DVD since she’s recently moved. But within a couple of clicks, I had it up and streaming on her 55 inch TV through a Pangaea Nuc. So she was very excited so when her kids get back she’ll be able to show them Twas The Night Before Christmas this year.
 Mark: Awesome.
Dave: Yeah, it was pretty much a straight forward install. I also gave her an Amazon Fire Stick, which we put up in her daughter’s room. Her daughter is a huge fan of the show Supernatural and so with the Amazon Fire Stick, she’ll be able to stream all those episodes in her bedroom when she’s done her homework. that was one of the rules, she has to do her homework before she starts streaming her shows.
So there you have it, another successful installation.
Mark: So if you’re looking for a streaming media device that gives you easy access to all the movies, sports,  TV, music, kids shows and on and on - all of the content, content from all the other countries, pretty much all the countries in the world, streaming media through the Free My TV Pangaea TV streaming media device is unparalleled. Check it out at freemytv.ca or give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks
 Dave: Thanks Mark

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation; we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, premium streaming media devices in Vancouver. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Thursday Mark.
Mark:  So it’s starting to snow a little bit where I am and we’re going to talk about the difference between OpenElec which is a Linux version and Android.  What’s the difference?
Dave: Well there are significant differences but there’s also some similarities.  They both, they both run Kodi, they both run Kodi which is software that people use to stream their content.  What I’ve been noticing tho is that, it’s been for the last couple weeks especially on Twitter where you’re seeing people that are huge champions of the Android operating system and Kodi are now starting to talk a little bit about OpenElec more and I’ve been using OpenElec now for well over a year on all my Pangaea TV’s just because for me it’s much more stable, it’s easier for my customers to update and back up and it’s just an overall smaller operating system where Android is you know, it’s not as robust as windows but it’s, it’s, there’s a lot, there’s a lot of fluff in Android which slows it down and so I am noticing more and more people on Twitter talking who were champions of Android now talking about you know, this OpenElec thing seems to be pretty darn good and I’ve mentioned before that I’m a part of this Facebook Android support group and on Tuesday I also noticed that a few of the moderators, or the guru’s in the group are now pitching you know,  the option to update your Android box so that it has OpenElec on it and so I thought to myself well it might be a good time to start talking about, about you know, talk about this and the fact that, you know maybe Androids you know, this may be the start of the decline of Android’s media players, it’s not going to be a fast decline but perhaps as more and more of these Android box sellers realize that you really, they’re really kind of dealing with you know, a weaker product when it comes to the customer overall experience that it might be, they might be moving towards OpenElec which I’ve been championing now for well over a year and I think it’s the much better platform for running Kodi.
Mark:  So as far as the difference when someone is actually using their device, is Android a little bit more difficult in terms of maintenance and in terms of performance, performance over time compared to OpenElec?
Dave:  Um, the, when it comes to what you can get on OpenElec version of Kodi versus an Android version of Kodi it’s going to be roughly the same.  What you’re probably going to see is it does take more time to maintain an Android experience, updating your Android experience typically takes more work, it requires in many cases you know, an outside external storage device which needs to be plugged into the box, you need to move files, you need to update firmware and that’s just to update the versions of the Kodi software where OpenElec it’s all done through an easy to use wizard that I have for my customers and so it’s definitely getting you know, making it an easier process for customers and I think that you know, that for people who don’t know, Android, like I say it’s great, it’s awesome but when you see the OpenElec experience its, many of my customers say wow it’s night and day.
Mark:  So the OpenElec process would this be fair, it’s a lot closer to using your cable box than with a few more you know, there’s a few more steps but it’s a lot closer to that than Android is?
Dave:  Definitely, OpenElec is much closer to the cable box experience where the cable box experience kind of updates itself with by being pushed, software being pushed how, saying that the cable boxes don’t get updated very often whereas with the streaming software it needs to be updated on a regular basis because there’s so many different add-ons and so many things changing and so the idea there is you want it to be an easy process to keep it up to date.  OpenElec there’s no comparison; OpenElec is where you want to be, it’s literally a couple clicks with my Pangaea TV, a couple clicks and you’re getting the latest version of all the software and everything; with Android it’s not like that, it’s multiple clicks, right multiple clicks.
Mark:  So if you want the easy to use, easy to maintain software experience of OpenElec get a Pangaea TV from Free My TV.  You can reach Dave at freemytv.ca or give him a call at 1-844-202-2727.  Thanks Dave.
Dave:  Thanks Mark

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation, we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV, streaming media players, extraordinaire in Vancouver. How’re you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So you have a little story about how much money a streaming media device can save.
Dave:  Yeah, this is a something that’s been in the works for the last couple weeks and finally happened yesterday.  I was contacted by a property manager into cut the cable for a house in Vancouver and they have two tenants, someone living upstairs and someone living downstairs and the owner who lives in Alberta is looking for ways to streamline and save some money and one of the ways is to cut the cable.  It just so happens that these two people, these two families living in this one place were sharing a fully rich kind of cable package but they had one kind of, it’s one package so the PVR, the family downstairs would record shows and then the family upstairs would delete the shows thinking that the kids recorded the shows and so it’s kind of like a nightmare for them, so I went to the houses yesterday and installed two Pangaea TV’s, started upstairs with the young family and walked them through the whole process, took about 30, 40 minutes then went downstairs and set up the family downstairs with a Pangaea TV, again sat with them 30, 40 minutes and walked them through the entire process and let them you know, let them be and then this morning I followed up with both through text messaging and they’re both very happy.  The one families son was watching a Lego Ninjago TV show and the other mom downstairs was, had been searching for a bunch of movies; her husband loves war movies and she was having a hard time finding a war movie and I quickly told her how to find it and she had it up within maybe a minute and so when her husband gets home from work today she’s going to have it all teed up and ready to go.  So two new families with Pangaea TV’s and the owner of the property is going to be saving over $2,500 without having to have a cable subscription, so he’s very happy as well, so he’s making money and his tenants have more content than they can imagine.
Mark:  So if you’re looking for a device that’s going to save you some money and give you access to all the content you could ever want, it’s easy to use, it’s easy to update, a lot of these devices aren’t, this is different, kind of amazing, unique to Free My TV, unique to Pangaea TV streaming channels that nobody else has, this is the device to get – freemytv.ca or give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727.  Thanks Dave.

Mark: Hi it Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here to day with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV in Vancouver. How are you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Tuesday Mark.
Mark: So we’re talking about android boxes and maybe some misrepresentation that’s happening in the market.  What’s the story?
Dave: Well I got a call from a, someone looking for streaming media boxes, he actually wasn’t in the market for a streaming media box but he had met this guy who was starting this android box out of California and this guy just got the Canadian license for selling this box in Canada and he was told in the presentation that, you know this is different from any other android box and it’s got the proprietary solution and you know it’s going to be the biggest selling box in North America and when you start asking this guy some questions he was kind of left with not a lot of answers and so he was chatting with me, he found me and he was chatting with me about my Pangaea Nuc and he had some specific questions about you know especially 4K video because he just purchased a brand spanking new 4K TV with all the latest ports and things like that and I assured him that the Pangaea Nuc could support that but we kind of went back and we’re talking about the android box for a few minutes because you know, just understanding what his requirements were and you know, and I said what do you mean they would use, they were telling you they had this unique android experience like no one else has it and I said if it’s just android, it’s just android and he goes well I don’t know, let me send you some information.  So he sent me over the spec sheets and some images and stuff and all it is, I saw the box right away and I think to myself I’ve seen this box all over the place. It’s a standard android box you can get out of China for $45 US and the only difference is they have their logo and their branding on it but it’s the exact same box, same display on the front, same ports on the back and I’m thinking to myself they’re selling this for over $200 and so I went, when I looked at the spec sheet and they had images of the android experience the guy, it was just exactly android and so said to the guy, I think he was trying to play you a little bit because there’s nothing unique about this device and here you go and I sent him, I sent him an image of the box you can get and sure enough dollars to donuts they’re exactly the same hardware, even the specs on the box were the spec that I sent him so there’s nothing unique about it and one of the things that this gentleman mentioned to me is that this guy was looking at it, he had a 2 year plan and that he was going to be out in 2 years after selling thousands and thousands of android streaming media players and that was sort of his short term plan and I assured this guy that for me you know, when customers buy from me, not only do I ship within 24 hours but you know, I make it so that it’s a unique experience.  I do have actually a solution that no other streaming media box seller has when it comes to exclusive add on’s and just the overall customer experience and I’m happy to report that this gentleman purchased a Pangaea Nuc and I threw in an Amazon Fire Stick as well on top of that for his secondary TV and so you know, I have a new customer who’s streaming away with a much better streaming media player.
Mark: So there you have it.  If you’re looking for a reliable source for your streaming media experience that’s backed up with customer service that’s always on call, you know texting they will walk you through it multiple times; he will make sure that you have a unique interface, that’s easy to use, easy to back up because streaming media players do need maintenance so don’t be fooled by anyone that says that’s not the case and also you get a fast shipping with a great warranty.  There’s no other experience that’s like this Free My TV and the Pangaea TV are the best streaming media device in North America right now.  Check them out freemytv.ca or give them a call 1-844-202-2727. Thanks Dave.

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV. How are you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Thursday Mark.
Mark:  So it’s a rainy day and I guess some rain fell into your life on Monday is that right from one of your customers?
Dave:  Yes, I don’t get calls a lot but Monday night was a little bit of a busier night, it was a rainy Monday night on the West Coast and I received a few, a few messages from customers who were having some difficulties finding shows and getting things to play.  There was a massive wind storm over here on the West Coast over the weekend so there was some internet issues which I soon learned about especially on the island.  There was one customer in particular who called me up and I was able to get on the phone with him Monday night and we spent a little bit of time sort of troubleshooting, we reset his router; he was actually the one who informed me that the internet had been, they’d been having some internet issues but things just weren’t working very well and even after we confirmed that everything was ok with the internet it just, he was getting errors on things that I wasn’t getting errors on and so I instructed them to download the newest config and then we would talk on, on Tuesday and things weren’t working at all on Tuesday when he got in touch with me after when he got home and I thought to myself, oh you know what, I had him download the wrong config because he’s on a newer, a newer Nuc and so there’s a special config and so I messed up and I had him download the wrong config so quickly got him onto the new config and yes things were a little bit better but it still wasn’t perfect and so I said o.k. well I’m going to, I’m going to go back and just figure some stuff out and we’ll talk on Wednesday night which was last night and so we spoke around 7 o’clock, he’s loving it, they’ve had it for like 3 ½ weeks, his wife is still kind of on the fence because the last few days it hasn’t been working 100 percent for them and so we spent a, actually I did on Tuesday night I actually did a brand new config just to clean up a few things, wasn’t really much to do with what I’d spoken to him earlier on Tuesday night about.  I just wanted to do a new config to clean up a few things and so I instructed him to download the newest config which again takes less than 5 minutes and 3 clicks and so he did that and last night when I touched base with them he said, huge improvement, everything was working, he didn’t know, he thanked me for what I did and I said I didn’t do anything I just removed a few add on’s and added a few things and tweaked a few things but nothing that should have really impacted his streaming experience but for whatever reason last night it was working great and so he thanked me for being there for them and, and walking them through the process.  Again they are a new customer and so six months from now they’re going to be an old customer and they’ll have, they’ll be experts in many areas of their Pangaea Nuc but I just wanted to show it’s not always sunshine and roses, sometimes there are issues and I assure my customers that I’m there for them at all times and so in this case we made it work and I’m happy to report that the customer on the island is streaming away.
Mark:  So if you want real support that’s responsive, that will even make a new config for you to make sure your experience is incredible this is the product to get, there’s lots of streaming media devices out there, the market is being flooded with them because it’s a real popular thing right now.  There’s lots of cheap boxes and cheap providers, don’t be fooled, you want a high quality product that’s fast, that’s reliable that provides you with experiences that you’re going to enjoy and not give up on after a couple months because they’ve disappeared – freemytv.ca -  give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727.  Thanks Dave

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Dave Gajdosik of Free My TV. How are you doing today Dave?
 Dave: Happy Friday Mark.
Mark:  So we’re talking about the value provided by the Pangaea TV so what value do you provide?
Dave:  Well I’ve got a number of cards here that I’m going to go through and just to show you what separates me and what you really get with, with your Pangaea TV so first off it’s free.
You get, you don’t need any more cables, so no cable subscriptions, no monthly fees and my customers save on average a $100 a month with the Pangaea TV.
Movies; you’ll get almost every movie ever made, some going back decades to all the latest movies, you’ll get movies from other countries on your Pangaea TV.
Popular TV shows; you’ll get almost every TV show ever made, you’ll get TV shows from other countries and you get to watch your TV shows the day they are on cable.
Live TV; over 3,000 live TV channels, there’s over 300 North American channels, that includes Canada, United States so you actually have the ability to cut the cable and still get live TV.
Sports; stream live games, you’ll get soccer, football, basketball, baseball, UFC boxing, cricket and more and as well if you miss the game you can watch many games on demand commercial free after they air.
If you have kids; you have tons of kid’s cartoons, kids TV shows, kid’s series, plenty of kids content on your Pangaea TV.
Very important to me is it’s user friendly, it’s easy to navigate, I make the menus easy to find and easy to navigate, it’s very easy to update, I have a wizard that takes five minutes to update your config and when you do make modifications you can back it up so that you have a copy of your changes all with one click, it’s very, very easy.
This is a big one; I have an exclusive add-on, it’s called extreme, no one else has it, you will never find it on an android box anywhere, with it you get to enjoy live TV movies, TV shows, music and sports, it’s a real game changer.
My hardware is solid, I sell intel powered devices, my high end Nuc comes with a three year bumper to bumper warranty; there’s no other streaming media player that actually offers a three year warranty, they’re all one year, my boxes are faster than android boxes, they operate under Linux, a version of Linux called open OpenELEC which is very stable.
Shipping; since day one I’ve shipped all my orders with 24 hours, often most orders are shipped same day, again I ship faster than Amazon.
And last, very important is the support my customers get, each customer when they receive their Pangaea TV gets a 30 minute tutorial, also if they need to contact me I just don’t rely on forums or, or email, they can email, they can phone, they can text, some Blackberry message me, some send me messages on Facebook, I respond to all my customers within minutes, I also do new configs on a weekly, monthly basis so my customers can get, actually get updated configs on a regular basis using the wizard and I offer a 30 day no BS return policy.  You’re happy or you get your money back and there you have it Mark, that’s what makes me different from all the players in town.
Mark:  So if you’re looking for the premium, no fooling around, no having to download and burn stuff to USB drives and stick it in and fart around, you want something that’s easy to use cause you just want to watch your media Pangaea TV is the answer.  Give Dave a call 1-844-202-2727 or check out the website freemytv.ca. Thanks Dave.
Dave:  Thanks Mark.
