I keep seeing everyone's helmetless Vile headcanons (which I love) and wanted to make one too. Except I think it would be funny if he looked literally identical to X (minus the eye color). X is what all the reploids are based on after all... And it'd just be one more reason why X's existence drives him crazy lol.

My husband gave me a pen for my Surface Pro on Christmas, so I wanted to test it out and experiment with new shading techniques. It's not as fine-tuned as our Cintiq but it works surprisingly well. I'm always drawing in bed now, hmhmhm...

This Osamu Tezuka artbook is one of my favorites since it's full of pages from his sketchbooks. It's a nice peek into his exploration process as an artist, especially the messier images. The eyes that look like they've been repeatedly erased and redrawn amuse me a lot too.

I finally managed to take a decent photo of my Rock Holmes cel from Metropolis. Trying to avoid glare and capture the color well was a struggle. I had to experiment with angles and what the best hour of the day is to capture just the right amount of sunlight. Luckily it paid off. Now I can properly show off my boy~

I need to get around to emulating Astro Boy: Omega Factor. I've watched playthroughs and it always looks fun, particularly if you're an Osamu Tezuka fan. It also has good reviews. I still vividly remember seeing ads for it in gaming magazines as a kid...

But most importantly, Rock's robe/martini combo here always amuses me lol.
