I never said Dutch was jewish, I'm saying he shares a lot of features that have historically been tied with jewish / antisemitic stereotypes for CENTURIES. I'm saying that so so many people, whether conscious or (more likely) unconscious, take in these traits and the fact that he occasionally talks about money and then start attaching things like blood libel, calling him a snake or greedy, cannibalism, to him when they don't do that with any other character. Nobody says Miss Grimshaw is greedy when she asks for you to donate. It's ALWAYS Dutch.

I'm saying that people should think about why they give theories like that the time of day for certain characters above others. I want people to take a second and think things over since people especially don't realise a lot of stuff is antisemitic. Dutch doesn't have to be jewish to have antisemitic attitudes directed at him.

idk if you hate dutch van der linde and refuse to look at the complexities of his character and use critical thinking skills, deciding to call him a greedy manipulative abuser and treat him like literal demon hellspawn, get off my page for real. the way that some of y'all treat mentally ill people is disgusting.

​it also really rubs me wrong when people talk about how dutch is greedy and is motivated by money, too. like... he very clearly is not? obviously he is concerned about money, as is everyone in the WHOLE GAME, but that's not what his entire life revolves around. he donates money to the camp and talks about how much he cares about the gang and wants them to be stable. his motivation for money is to make sure the people he cares about are well taken care of and safe.

When it comes to textured hair there’s many styles, here some I’ve seen at powwows. Braided locs have to be my favorite style so far 💖

Reminder braids are not a universal hairstyle between tribes! I’m coming from the perspective of Great Plains tribes. I just thought I might share what braided hair means to my community and people. I see people trying to make ocs or redesigns of characters who are native but don’t actually represent us too good. Reminder to always research a tribe before making a character learn their protocols and at least try to learn something new! 🌸💖🍇
