Car/Carriage Accident: Temporarily Away/Slowness in posts

Not sure if everyone got the memo from my friend Nakoma (outofarmor: thank you for posting the message for me!), but the reason I've been away was because I've managed to get into (oou: a car accident) an accident involving a carriage. Currently, my wrists are in casts (ooa: and I have to talk through a microphone in order to type), but I'm just thankful I came back alive to tell the tale. Of course, it'd probably heal a lot faster if I could avoid using it or having anyone "accidentally" hit it..I don't really want to point out any names..*cough* Quasi or Clopin *cough* Uh, but it'd be great if I can heal quickly enough to get back to work around here. >.>

Temporary Hiatus

(Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts..I'm going through a breakup right now..so, I'm just going to be avoiding romantic things for a few days. ”..Oh…!” Phoebus blinked with his eyes widened, wondering how in the hell did this subject come up. “Uh..where did you - uh.. who told you that?” The confident soldier stuttered a bit with an awkward shift of his eyes. Obviously, Phoebus was avoiding Zephyr’s more pertinent question with his own question in regards to where his son even heard this in the first place. Offhand, he was willing to bet it was Clopin. For some reason, anything insane that happened could always be traced back to that man. Unless for some reason it was Esmeralda, in which case he will most likely argue about it with her later. He was too young!

"You know." he whispered looking up at Phoebus with a blank stare. "It. Fun things with…" The boy paused trying to remember what Clopin had told him. "Pretty ladies and men." Zephyr replied confidently with a smile hoping now his father would understand his question a little better.

"AUGH! Sst.. mnnnn!" Phoebus fell to the floor in extreme pain at his most sensitive region being hit by the wooden sword. "…I know you didn’t…just..mnnnn!" He tried to breath deeply in and out his nose in hopes to relieve the pain, "Give me a few minutes to catch my breath.. But from now on, that area is entirely off limits during our hand-to-hand combat.." He smirked a bit. "While we’re on the subject, remember to pick up your juggling balls from your room..Quasi almost tripped when he came there, and somehow I can’t shake the feeling that I’m going to be next.." He remarked wryly with a teasing smile before shifting his eyes off to the sides as if he knew that, with his luck, that would happen to him.

"Argh….it’s alright..Eh.. forgive me, this probably wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t standing in your way."

"AH!..Yes.. I realize that now…Just didn’t expect you to be jumping from that kind of height willingly.” The snarky soldier murmured, still stunned by the fact that this woman jumped from such a perilous height at the risk of being hit by rocks in the water. Phoebus never met a woman crazy enough to do that, so he honestly thought she was either trying to commit suicide or she fell; either way, he instantly dove right after her without a second thought. Unfortunately, that unplanned stunt did not turn out to be such a timely fall for Phoebus, who felt as though he managed to hit every rock laying in the water. ”Eugh..I’ll be sure not to underestimate you next time..” He added with a wry smirk.
