If there’s one thing I get to have an unnecessary and stupid hatred of it’s the design of the Boatwright academy in the Mysterious Benedict Society TV show.

Something about the sterile atmosphere and the uniforms that resemble The Dalton Academy Warblers from Glee makes this entire place feel so modern and throw me out of the Wes Anderson vibe.

I know that The Mysterious Benedict Society doesn’t have a specified time period but this feels out of the time period no whatever it is.

I love that the adults of The Mysterious Benedict Society take care of kids who are not their own.

Rhonda gave Reynie an impromptu therapy session so he could learn how express his emotions and scream his lungs out.

Ms. Perumal was fully ready to be like “take me instead” so Sticky and Constance could escape.

Milligan that offering a puzzle would distract Constance enough to keep her inside.

The “Does Constance drive?” poll has me thinking about how there will come a time in which Constance is of driving age and the whole society is just utterly terrified.

Not for Constance’s safety. No she’ll be fine, but for the safety of every person who is cursed to drive near her.

No one allows her to drive on her own even after she fully has her license. There’s always someone who’s in the passenger’s seat next to her making sure she doesn’t murder anyone with her vehicle.

She’ll get into the most minor traffic jam and then honk her horn so aggressively that she’s just straight up hitting the steering wheel and then she’ll holler some deeply out of pocket insult at a complete stranger. If she’s with the other kids she’ll just straight up cuss and then get a full lecture from Reynie about proper language etiquette.

There’s a time where Sticky is the one forced to take up the shift to be with her when she’s driving. She speeds to freak him out (she does in fact freak him out) and ends up crashing into a fire hydrant. Constance gets in trouble with the adults (Mr.Benedict can’t ever get mad at her but Number Two and Rhonda will lecture and ground her). As an excuse Constance casually is like “Kate speeds all the time!”

Both Kate and Constance are have horrendous road rage and no respect for safety but Kate is just better at hiding it.

something about kate being so attached to her bucket because it doesn’t tie her down to any place and allows her to feel independent but in a sense her bucket is her home because it’s the one thing she’s been able to rely on throughout her life and then she joins the society and she suddenly has a home, not in a place (though sure, the Benedict house and the farm are great) but in her friends and her family and all of a sudden her bucket is no longer her home, it’s a means to protect her home, to help keep her loved ones safe, because she has loved ones now and i am in pain
