Fluff Alphabet - Isaac “Zack” Foster x GN! Reader

A = Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?)

Though he would never admit it, he really likes it when you don’t take any of his crap. If he does something to upset you the way you won’t hesitate to put him in his place is nice. He also finds it really hot but you didn’t hear it from me...

B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)

He isn’t really the type to pay special attention to a single body part. Your hair maybe? He just finds himself absentmindedly touching it (only if you allow him to of course). It’s a good way to pass time for him. Eyes are probably a big deal for him too. It’s nowhere near how Danny is of course. Eyes are the doorway to the soul so it says a lot. They let him know that you are sincere with your words.

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

Cuddling is kind of weird with him. I feel like he’s naturally hot. When it’s cold he’s the literal best. When it starts getting hot is another story. He’s a light sleeper so when you pull away from him he’s like “the fuck are you doing🤨”

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

Stay at home dates. He really likes lounging around on the couch watching movies with you. Maybe even a board game if things don’t get too aggressive. He also enjoys going to the gas station at ungodly hours because the ✨vibes✨

E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

Emotions are difficult. As we seen in the anime he’s not good with expressing how he’s feeling in words. He’s more of an actions guy. He doesn’t voice them unless you bring it up. Even then it’s not much. So you’re going to have to pick up on the physical things like when he’s frustrated he clenches his fist and gets really quiet.

F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

No. Absolutely not. He doesn’t think he can handle kids, especially small ones. Also that’s a lot of responsibility he’s not up for.

G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

If you give him something he’ll stare at it like(・_・ヾcause what is he supposed to do? He’ll protect whatever it is you have him with his life though. If he breaks it he’ll feel bad. It’s very rare if he gives you something. Not that he doesn’t want to he just doesn’t see the point in material things. Might come home with a rock talking about “saw this and thought of you”.

H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

Holding hands isn’t a big deal for him. He usually holds your hand when he’s walking/running so you can keep up. If you ask to hold his hand he’ll make a big deal about it but hold it out nonetheless.

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

If you hurt yourself then he’s going to laugh. Sorry not sorry. He’ll call you a dumbass and start wheezing. If you’re really hurt though then he’ll help you. He’s still laughing though. Now if someone else hurt you? He’s pissed. Where are they at? He just wants talk🙂

J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you?)

Absolutely. Once you agreed to date him you pretty much signed up to be pranked. He does pretty much everything. Jumping out from places to scare you. Puts a bucket on the door. Fake bugs you name it. If you ask him to dial it down he might but no promises.

K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

He’s a rough kisser. If he kissed you he goes straight for the lips. Usually turns kinda steamy😏 (remember sam this is fluff-). If you give him pecks all over his face he’ll complain but don’t let that fool you. He loves them. He once put his hand on your cheek and you kissed his palm. He stopped functioning for a few minutes.

L = Love (how do they show they love you?)

Like I said before he’s not good with words so actions are the way to go. Surprisingly he has a really good memory so he’ll remind you of little things. “Hey did you go pick up that cake?” He would ask as soon as you walk in the door.

M = Memory (favorite memory together?)

It was the first time he truly realized he was in love with you. You two were having another stay at home date nights though you fell asleep on his chest long ago. Zack had his arm lazily thrown over your back while he stuffed his face. A cringey romance movie playing (like the hallmark ones during Christmas). He looked down at your sleeping form to see you at peace. It kind of hit him. You trusted him not to kill you. You truly trusted him. He softly smiled to himself placing a soft kiss on your head before turning his attention back to the movie.

N = Nightmare (when is their worst fear?)

Him hurting you or you being scared of him. He understands that he can be a brash at times but he’s usually kind of careful when he’s around you. If he did one day lose control and hurt you? He would be absolutely crushed. Just imagining you looking up at him in absolutely fear is too much. He had a nightmare about you leaving once. When he woke up you were gone so he started yelling. You ran back into the room concern laced all over your face. “Zack? Babe? What’s wrong?” You cupped his face running your thumbs over his cheeks. All he did was pull you closer burying his face in your neck. Just hold him just as tight and rub his back. Eventually he’ll calm down and maybe, just maybe he might tell you what happened. If not it’s best not to force it out of him.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)

He’s surprisingly good at knowing when something is stressing you out before you know it yourself. Whether it’s school, work, or whatever it is he’s got you. He’ll pull you away from your desk to lay on the couch. Don’t even try to argue with him. He’ll just hold you tighter flickering through the channels until you calm down.

P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

He calls you by a shorten version of your name or just a simple babe. He walked in one day and said ‘hey bitch’. The way you snapped your head towards him had him rethinking his life choices.

Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

Since he doesn’t know how to cook you two cook together every Sunday. It’s never a boring thing. If all else fails you order takeout. If you have a morning/nightly routine he’ll have his arms around around your waist while you do it. No matter how much you complain he’s not letting go.

R = Rhythm (what song reminds you of them?)

I have so many songs for him lmao. The first one is My Axe by Insane Clown Posse. That one is pretty self explanatory. Another one is Hayloft by Mother Mother. Also self explanatory. The last one I’ll be mentioning is Rät by Penelope Scott. I just really get Zack’s vibe from it.

S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)

Like I said before you’ve got to have that deep level of trust with him. The further you go into the relationship the more he’ll share with you. Don’t force it out of him though. He’ll close right back up.

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

It took a while for you two to get together. Zack doesn’t trust people easily so you two would have to have a very deep level of that. Once that’s established then it’s go time. He didn’t fully understand he was in love with you. He just knew that you weren’t as annoying as everyone else. When he does realize that he’s in love he would probably sit there wondering what to do now.

U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

Upon seeing you upset he’ll ask himself a series of questions. ‘Shit, what did I do? Did I forget to wash the dishes?’. If the reason you are upset is because of him he’ll usually apologize for whatever he did. If the reason is someone else? That can be dealt with. If it’s neither of the two options you’re gonna have to speak up.

V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)

Hell yeah. He’ll show you off like it’s nobody’s business. Sometimes he does it without realizing it.

W = Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting? Would they fight for you, beside you, etc?).

I mean if you can handle yourself, go for it. You two can kick ass together. Though he does keep a closer eye out for you while that’s happening. If you choose to not fight that’s cool too. You get to see how cool he is😎

X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

Surprisingly really good at reading your body language. Kind of like when your feeling stressed, he just knows when something is wrong.

Y = Yes (how would they propose to you?)

He wouldn’t make it a big deal of it. You two have had a few conversations about marriage but it never went anywhere. He walked into the house and placed a box down in front of you before walking into the bedroom. After you open it you sprint into the bedroom and hug him.

Z = Zen (what makes them feel calm?)

Having you sleep next to him. If you’re next to him he knows he can protect you. It also helps him sleep better since he doesn’t really have a decent sleep schedule. He often stays awake and just watches you sleep. Seeing your chest rise and fall brings him a peace of mind.

On the very slim chance that Zack wakes up before me, it would totally depend on his mood. If he was feeling quiet and sleepy he would probably poke or gently shake me awake. If he was feeling chaotic however he could and would do any number of things, yanking the covers off, whacking me wig a pillow this starting a pillow fight or heck even just yeet me off the bed.

Zack isn't the most emotional or affectionate person but I feel like very occasionally if it was a special day like a birthday or something he would kiss me to wake me up. These days are very very rare but that makes it all the more special.
