If you know me you know that I don't particularly like movies. Mostly because most of Hollywood is cash-grabs and its hard to find a movie these days that's actually good. I'm picky with my movies. I see movies as an art medium and it hasn't been used that way in god knows how long. However, I was recently exposed to the movie Wolfwalkers and I was instantly IN LOVE with the art style. I love Celtic folklore and this movie was ART. I loved it so much I pulled out clip studio mid movie so I could start sketching. It feels like its been so long since I've felt this genuinely inspired. What an amazing movie. I hope you enjoy this Robin and Mebh as much as I loved them in the movie <3

listen. yes castiel deserved to find a home with humanity and be welcomed in as a human with open arms but…..cas is an angel. he has always been an angel and he has never expressed sadness about that. he’s proud of being an angel. the problem has always been the other angels trying to force their beliefs on him, mold him into their ideal of an angel. cas loved heaven and was devastated by what happened to it, so much of the guilt he carried around was from what he had done to it (or, at least, what the other angels blamed him for). i agree that a human!cas ending would have been beautiful but in the end castiel helped reshape heaven to be how he always thought it should be, to be a beautiful resting place for the humanity that he loves so much. yes he went back into the service of God but God is jack, his son, and it’s not exactly service, it’s cas helping and probably even mentoring. he’s not a soldier anymore; he’s an equal, a protector, a friend. castiel is and always has been an angel who loves humanity, and the other angels have repeatedly punished and lobotomized him for that. an ending where he just gets to be that, an angel who loves humanity, who is told he is good for that and who gets to use that love to be constructive, where he sees the humans he has built this heaven for thriving, where he can still pop in and say hello to his found human family…i honestly love that for him
