Things the John Constantine movie should have

- John with a thick Scouse accent (if I don’t need to turn on subtitles to understand him ITS NOT MY BOY)

- A hard R rating

- Lots of blood and guts

- S C A R Y dear god let it be a horror movie not an action movie Constantine isn’t a superhero

- John’s blue suit

- a scene where he’s hallucinating that’s partially animated

- BLUE SUIT

- The Newcastle Occurence

- I think it would be really cool if the style sort of mimicked the really distinctive art of early Hellblazer. Really colorful and stark and visceral. Like the idea that edgy movie = muted color palette is very silly and I think making this movie colorful would really set it apart

- the soundtrack must include, at minimum, The Jam, The Clash, The Pogues

- British working class director. Please. I Beg.

- let him smoke

- let him be bisexual

hellblazer is such a great read (depending on the arc) until you reach issue 250 and after that peter milligan is waiting just around the corner to hit you square in the face with a metal bat.
