Reblog and put your rare pair in the tags/comments! I want to see the depths people will go to create, for the most random two characters in the most obscure media.

our fold means death
There is a handsome, heavily bearded gentleman who keeps folding the laundry that’s been left in the communal dryers. Including Stede’s. Even the underthings. (Thanks @soft-october-night! xo)
Mrs. Bonnet (that is, the maternal Bonnet, mother to Stede) was not what most would have called a dedicated disciplinarian. On the rare occasion she was forced to wag a finger, it was more often than not concerning her son’s arguably hereditary penchant for drama. It was her own tendency towards enjoying the same, which despite her very best efforts, frequently undermined whatever moral lesson she had been hoping to convey. As an older man with multiple children now in his care, Stede couldn’t quite blame her for the idiosyncrasy. She was just trying to do what good mothers ought, which is to discourage your children from engaging in wanton gossip and causing general mischief amongst one’s peers (no matter how fun it might be).
To Stede’s relief and great happiness, she did live long enough to see her son channel that same flair into a career that gave him purpose and security—to see at least one of the plays his kids put on (The Pirates of Penzance, obviously), and to know in her heart that she had not failed in her role as a parent despite what Stede’s childhood principal had tsk-tsked. All that having been said, while he did mostly channel his more… mischievous urges into work, he wasn’t a saint, and to be frank, there were some people out there in need of a little jostling from time to time (and if that ended up bringing him a modicum of joy, then so be it).

p0rn w/ feelings is so funny it’s like I’ve tricked you into reading this fic by offering you smut but as soon as you get there I pull out a chair, sit backwards on it, and say “hey, pal. you wanna talk about abandonment issues?” and then you have no choice but to listen

the great skedaddle
Ted finally convinces Rebecca to bail on a formal event before it’s over. It’s way more Romantic than she’s entirely prepared for. (Thanks, @piratesails! xo)
“So, uh, what ya thinkin’ boss?” There’s an air of the unhinged to the grin on his face (and his demeanor generally) as he mimics a jaunty little walk with his fingers. “You maybe wanna…?”
The threat of a “skedaddle” hanging ominously in the air.
This is not and most certainly will not be the last time she pauses to wonder how in the hell her heart could be so vulnerable to this man and this moustache in addition to the frightful skedaddle of it all. There’s an entirely imaginary, ungodly screeching of rubber against asphalt and then there’s Keeley’s voice in her head, tinged with lip gloss and pink wine, More like ske-daddy, am I right?
