Hey I suggest doing more research. You might find that me calling them "antisemitic" and "Pro-Hamas" is apt -- for example, at one of these marches a UPenn student gave a speech in which she said that the Hamas attack on Israel made her feel "excited," "empowered," and "happy." They had a professor who supported the terrorist attack on Oct. 7 and called it "resistance" and blamed Israelis. Another professor posted a picture on his personal Facebook page of a new patch he got for his jacket which is the logo for the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas that carried out the terrorist attack.
Penn also hosted a "Palestine Writes" festival which featured Roger fucking Walters, former singer of Pink Floyd who dressed up as a Nazi on stage and has a long history of antisemitism. It also featured two convicted terrorists who spent time in Israeli prisons (one of which was for making firebombs and working with Hezbollah). It also featured Sarah Abulhawa, who has compared Jews to Nazis and has photos on her desk of Dalal Mughrabi, a terrorist who killed 38 civilians (13 of which were children). It also had Salman Abu Sitta, who in an interview said that Jews were hated during the holocaust because we destroyed the economy.
There's dozens upon dozens of others. All you have to do is look. Thats just at UPenn. Do the research yourself for what students and professors have been saying/doing at Harvard.
You wanna talk about "sweet tricks" we can talk about you saying that there is a "hit list" of Middle Eastern students. There isn't, by the way. The "doxing" you're referring to isn't doxing. They're students and faculty being called out for things they said PUBLICLY, whether on their public social media, public panel they spoke at, or at a public protest. They were proud when they said it, now they're not proud when the rest of the world sees it?
A few billionaires have pulled all their funding from universities like UPenn and Harvard due to them allowing pro Hamas rallies and not doing anything about the rampant antisemitism on their campus. Which it's about time honestly, I've been telling Jewish parents the only way to make universities change is to hit their wallet and don't send your Jewish kids to antisemitic schools.

watching leftists and progressives spend the last few years telling jews we were exaggerating the rise in antisemitism and now that the violence is becoming unavoidable we’re being told we’re “hallucinating persecution.” in a very weird and fucked up way it makes me feel connected to my ancestors because i’m sure they also were made to feel like their oppression and persecution was just the way things were, that the violence they endured was normal. and it’s really clarified something my rabbi said in a class a while ago, which is that the past few decades where antisemitism has been less prevalent have not been normal, in fact they have been very abnormal. so the current state of things is just a return to the status quo. goyim have done the required amount of handwringing about the shoah and now they’re back to the same script they’ve been using for millennia.

I've been getting messages from people asking me to explain or debunk accusations against Jews/Israel, which I'm happy to do, except the source of several of them are just "some guy on Twitter said so." I feel like if you just Google it and find out there is no media talking about it, that tells you what you need to know about the claim.

if my mom is matrilineally and almost entirely ethnically jewish but converted to christianity, and my dad is a gentile, would i have to convert or am i jewish?
Your mother is Jewish so you're Jewish. Even if she "converted out" of the religion, she is still ethnically Jewish, so you are too. You don't need to do a formal conversion, but going to classes to learn about Judaism if you weren't raised with it could be beneficial.

I just saw a tumblr user with "not converting to Judaism anymore because of widespread systematic genocide apologism in liberal institutions" in their about-me and I have so many words about that, none of which are kind.
Good that they realized it isn't for them then.

would you mind explaining in plain terms why israel doesn't want a ceasefire? american journalism has not provided adequate background to anything. i think a lot of americans simply see people dying and getting bombed in gaza and are like "well, just stop it! can't be that hard to stop dropping bombs." or "revenge is bad, it's just more death." i can't be the only person who feels like i'm operating in the dark and don't have a good grasp on what israel's military and population are thinking and why this is the chosen course of action.
I'll let Hamas explain it for me.
Also, Israel was in a ceasefire when this happened. They have had about 15 ceasefire agreements with Hamas over the years and Hamas violates every one. Terrorists do not abide by the rules of war.

The antisemitism on the left has been a constant issue for decades, but many Jews still were part of these communities because we support many of the causes. After this, leftists have made it obvious they don't want us in their spaces anymore.
Just as an aside, the shoah was not the last genocide or attempt at genocide against Jews. It's just the one people know about.
Again, you can support Palestine and Palestinian liberation without ignoring TWO THOUSAND YEARS OF ANTISEMITIC VIOLENCE AND CONSTANT EXPULSIONS AND MASSACRES OF JEWISH PEOPLES ALL OVER THE WORLD.
This is not something "in the past" (btw, those posts about how the Holocaust was "sooooo long ago" are fucking disgusting!), antisemitic violence is a global ongoing reality. Synagogues are being threatened and attacked, Jewish people are being harassed and murdered, Jewish-owned businesses are being threatened and vandalized, there are people in the streets calling for a Jewish genocide, and there are ongoing pogroms and expulsions of Jewish communities.
Jewish people did not leave their respective home countries for funsies, they left because those countries made it extremely and violently clear that they were not welcome. Many Israelis can't "go back home" because those "homes" chased them out at gunpoint or worse.
Again, this is not about having to support Israeli or the actions of the Israeli government. It's literally just about not spreading antisemitic rhetoric and revisionist history that tries to blame Jewish people for antisemitism (and yes, I've seen those "Zionism makes Jews think they can't belong anywhere else" posts, as if the constant hate and violence isn't at all part of that).
I'm so beyond disgusted by the behavior I've seen from people who I previously respected. I've seen so many Jewish people I follow saying that they no longer feel safe in any leftist community and I don't blame them for that. I'm not even Jewish and I have lost so much trust and faith in Western leftists over just the last month.

Sorry for this but as a disabled Haitian black woman living in America, I cannot sympathize nor agree with Israel’s actions against Palestinian people and their own people. What they did to Ethiopian Jewish Women when they they sterilized them with their consent. I cannot support Israel ruthlessly bombing churches, schools, and people’s homes where people live. I feel so bad for the Palestinian people and hostages who have to deal with ruthless bombng in Gaza.
The lie that Israel sterilized Ethiopian women has been debunked countless times, and yet it persists and is used by pro-Palestinians to be like "Look! Israel really is apartheid!" so that you don't ask them why they have had black Ethiopian Jewish man Avera Mangisto hostage for 9 years, or why they beheaded a black man during the Hamas attacks with a shovel. So let's talk about it.
Israel never forcibly sterilized Ethiopian women. They provided them with the depo shot, which needs to be renewed every 12 weeks or it becomes ineffective, or in other words, you can get pregnant again. It is not sterilization.
So, why did Israel give Ethiopian women the depo shot?
Ethiopian women arrived to Israel in either transit or refugee camps due to them fleeing a genocide, both of which are always in constant need of birth control. They need birth control for a few reasons, the major one being that infant and maternal mortality rates in transit and refugee camps are incredibly high, few gynecologists are available to work at these camps, sexual violence is also higher in these camps than the general population, and post-partum care is lacking for the same reason that gynecologists are. This is true in every transit or refugee camp, not just in Israel. The advantage of the depo shot specifically is because it decreases the bleeding for women on their menstrual cycle, which is good when the camps are lacking in menstrual products, which can lead to health problems. If they were to get pregnant at the camp and decide to have an abortion, the mortality rates are, as predicted, incredibly high. I would also like to add that it is standard procedure to provide women in refugee/transit camps with birth control.
Due to the high volume of people at these camps who need medical care, and the shortness of staff, as well as a language barrier, it is possible some patients do not understand what is being administered. This means that it is a case of negligent medical care, and not eugenicist sterilization of black women. The conditions since the initial absorption of Ethiopian refugees has increased, given that there is no longer a rush to get them situated, and the Ethiopian population in Israel has grown substantially. That could not happen if the women were sterilized. Their population is now well over 160,000 and make up 2.3% of the population.
The accusation that Israel forcibly sterilized these women is as heinous as it is ridiculous, considering Israel was the one who did rescue operations to get them to safety in the first place. This is not to say that there is not racism in Israel, but there is racism in every country on the face of this planet, and Israel's racism is not so great that they forcibly sterilized an entire population of black women.

UPDATE: AP and CNN have cut ties with Hassan Eslaiah, the freelance journalist who was posted a video of himself holding a grenade the day of the attack, and also deny that they knew about the attack prior, but did not indicate whether they knew if Eslaiah had prior knowledge. The New York Times has stood by its decision to use Yousef Masoud's work. The Jerusalem Journalists Association has called for an investigation into the incident. HonestReporting updated their article with further insistence that they were not accusing the outlets themselves of knowing about the attacks, but that they strongly question whether the freelancers whose work these outlets paid for did. They conclude by stating:
"When international news agencies decide to pay for material that has been captured under such problematic circumstances, their standards may be questioned and their audience deserves to know about it. And if their people on the ground actively or passively collaborated with Hamas to get the shots, they should be called out to redefine the border between journalism and barbarism."
In case you haven't heard, journalists from AP, New York Times, Reuters, and CNN were all at the Hamas attack on Oct. 7th. They took photos with the leader of Hamas. There are photos (which they posted on their own personal Facebook page) of them with grenades in their hands and participating. They knew about the attack, and did nothing to warn anyone.

Hey there love. My name is Noa and I'm from Israel. I would've sent a PM but I want other people (fellow jews, Israelis and the antisemitic that come across your blog to spread hate) to know how much of a fresh breath your support has been.
Your amazing strength reaches so deeply!
Your posts, your worlds, your grief. In the midst of doom-scrolling tumblr I found the ray of warm sunshine that is you and your blog. Unfortunately, most if not all of my friends are in a worse mental state than I could ever know, so in relation to them I'm doing just fine. (Mentally detached). So all this month I could only swallow my feelings and support them as much as I can, of course, never daring to fall apart Infront of those who can't take it.
Therefore, I come here to get support, look at the encouraging words of someone whom fights for me, for my friends, in the most absurd days we ever experienced.
Your support matters, your words are powerful, your soul reaches through the screen.

Tumblr won't let me add more but yeah they're not peaceful. I have a million other photos and videos of Jewish stores being vandalized, synagogues being attacked, Jewish people being beaten or chased by pro Palestine protestors. The protests are anything but peaceful.
Also their favorite chant "From the river to the sea" is a call for Jewish genocide. Same with their chant "Khaybar khaybar ya yahud". Khaybar was a massacre against Jews by the prophet Mohammad and that chant is saying "Jews, remember Khaybar". Its a threat.

It has been one month since this war started. One month since I have slept peacefully, managed to take care of myself, or avoid looking at the news for more than five minutes. It has been one month of people telling me they're happy my people are dead, that they wished more would have died, that they and diaspora Jews deserve it. It has been one month since every moment hasn't felt like the world was upside down. One month since people I thought were my friends have came out in support of my murderers.
Words cannot describe my grief. I watch jews being attacked all over the world as thousands more cheer and call for even more Jewish death. Each attack, each murder, feels as if I've lost a sibling. I am not even allowed to express my mourning without someone shouting "what about the palestinians" as if me being sad about 1400 of my people being brutally slaughtered and another 240 taken hostage is somehow a political stance. I am keenly aware that any expression of my sadness or fear makes them happy.
Despite all of this, we continue. Jews have been more united than I have ever seen them. Hillel and Chabad are coming together for unified events, I have seen Jews decide to wear kippot and tzitzit wherever they go. I have seen Jews who are celebrating the first shabbat of their life and learning the blessings. I have seen Jews who decided to put up mezuzot and menorah in their window. Never before have I seen synagogue attendance so high except on high holidays. Yes, I am sad, I am scared. But my pride for how Jews have come together outweighs every negative feeling I have. They wanted to hurt us, to divide us, to make us weak. But I have never seen Jews stronger than we are right now.

man the state of history education is really in the toilet huh. do i need to tell you that:
1. jews were racialized as ‘other’, not european, for pretty much all of the time they were in europe
2. jews in north africa were killed during the holocaust
3. much of europe was not horrified at all by the culmination of millennia of antisemitism
4. you should be embarrassed to showcase how little you know with your face and name attached
