MY FRIEND MADE ME AN EMBROIDERED TWERKDAK! I AM SO HAPPY AND THIS IS GETTING FRAMED IN THE MOST GRANDMA GUCCI FRAME I CAN FIND.

Random Hordak analysis time because this clip came up in my feed just now and well, I legit think Hordak's a really damn fascinating character.

Okay soooooo during this scene we basically get our only bit that shows Adora and Hordak interacting in the entire show… and it's kinda interesting. Hordak is actually the one to address Adora first asking, "Why is she here?". He doesn't just snap and say. "Get rid of her" or anything, but he clearly seems… uncomfortable with her presence because he's reminded of the fact that he kinda did spare Adora's life and save her, something an evil Horde clone general probably shouldn't do.

Then Adora confronts Hordak about him kidnapping her and indoctrinating her… and right away Hordak switches into full evil overlord mode and gloats about using Adora's sword to bring the rest of his empire through to Etheria. In this moment, he's switching to his self defense instinct. Channeling his brother, being all knowing and powerful and he gloats at Adora… and then his suit malfunctions and shows that his big evil bravado is all just a facade.

And this is probably why he snaps at Entrapta, because he hates feeling weak and is angry at himself for not being able to do anything right. He probably didn't MEAN to snap at her in that moment (This was after the two had already had some cute bonding moments together), but he is clearly this villian who is kinda broken and angry at himself more than anything.

Hordak is legit a really interesting character when you look at him with nuance and stuff, something I wish more SPOP fans did.
