Arrow 5x06 summary: wtf?

Okaaaaaay, this episode is not what I was expecting.

Oliver and Diggle go out on their own, not including the rest of the team. Dudes, you have a team for a reason. They’re never gonna gain experience until you let them get actual experience. I know you’re worried that they’re gonna die and it’s gonna be on your conscience, but sidelining them isn’t helping things. You’re never gonna be a united team until you actually do stuff together and trust one another.

Then they all find out about the list and freak out. Oliver is apparently now a serial killer? Yeah, remember in season one, he very much gives all those people a chance to make it right, or does it for them. He only killed people that got in his way or attacked first or refused to fix their mistake. Yes, he still killed people, but how did everyone suddenly forget about that? It was never a secret? The List wasn't a kill list, it was a list of people that needed to fix whatever shit they’d done to the city; it was a list of people poisoning the city. That’s a pretty wide range, bankers, lawyers, councilmen included. Plus, you’re vigilantes. You know that at times it’s kill or be killed, and I’m pretty sure you’d kill. Of all people, I’d thought they’d understand that, but apparently not.

Then Prometheus is just killing people willy nilly, until they learn their names are anagrams. Which is pretty clever actually, and subtle. But it takes a cold-hearted asshole to murder a single mother of two. So he’s cold, clever, calculating, and clearly wants the Green Arrow dead but doesn’t fight or attack him when he has the chance on the train?

Plus the reporter lady wants Oliver to call her, which I believe is a total load of shit. She has that photo of Oliver, she knows he’d hiding stuff about her past. I’m terrified for when that month is up. Who knows what hell she will rain down on him and his career. He can’t let anyone find out he was in the Bratva, so will he have to kill her to silence her? Or maybe she’s more evil than we thought and is going to try and blackmail him or something. The wait is killing me.

Then Artemis is like mortally wounded that Oliver killed people. But again, how was this a secret? Did people seriously think the Hood, the Arrow, and the Green Arrow were different people? Like, how? They are all doing like the same thing, carry bows and arrow, and wear a green outfit. How many people even know much about archery and combat, let alone to do that as a vigilante? I’m just seriously doubting how anyone could believe they were different. Roy did confess though, but still. I’m just skeptical.

And then that ending. Quentin? Quentin?!

How in the hell is it Quentin? Where did he suddenly learn all these ninja moves, and to use a sword, and a bow, and throwing stars? And how in the hell does a good cop suddenly turn into a cold-hearted bastard that murders innocent people? And others cops?! I know his daughters died, and that was super hard, but really? I know he probably blames it all on Oliver, but I would think he’d take it out on Oliver, not innocents and fellow cops. And why didn’t he attack him when he had the chance? I mean, Oliver trusts him, he could attack Ollie at any time. But he hasn’t. WHY?
