Corrin: How would you like to keep fighting with us? We could use someone of your skills.

Amane: Y-You want me to join you? I’m flattered but uh… [glances at Seiji]

Seiji: (Don’t look at me. He/She asked you.)

Amane: (Seiji!)

[If Nagame is alive] Corrin: And what about you, in the shadows? Would you like to join us? Saizo: You can’t be serious. He’s our enemy! Corrin: That’s in the past. There’s no reason why we can’t work together now. We need as many allies as we can get to defeat the enemy we’re facing. I’m willing to place my faith in him. [Nagame emerges from the trees] Nagame: You’re a fool. But I suppose I’m no better. Very well, my blade is yours, Lord/Lady Corrin.

Amane: I’m sorry—

Seiji: Oh, alright. I’ll take care of things back home. You go with them.

Seiji: Hey, what’s with that look? You don’t think I can handle it? Don’t forget, I was once the heir presumptive.

Fates OC Story: Background Information

Since the game provides very little information on ninjas and their villages/nations, I have taken the liberty to expand on it.

Some terms:

Shurikenjutsu (手裏剣術): Skills related to the use of shuriken. Ninjutsu (忍術): Skills that are magical in nature. Uses ninjutsu scrolls (忍法帖). [Yes, I borrowed this from Naruto]

Ninja villages/principalities: General

Kohga (コウガ公国) A principality located south of Hoshido. It was the home of many distinguished ninja clans, whose members served the royal family of Hoshido before it was invaded and subsequently destroyed by Mokushu. Former home of Shura. Mokushu (フウマ公国) A principality located south of Izumo, ruled by Kotarou, head of the Fuuma clan. It is also the home of the Kagemori clan. Igasato (イガの里) Located in the mountains of Hoshido, founded by the Saizou and Mizuki clans. * note: Kagerou's clan is not located in any of the above places.

Saizou clan

One of the two founding ninja clans of Igasato whose members serve the royal family of Hoshido. Notable members: Saizou V: Current head of the Saizou clan, retainer of High Prince Ryouma. Suzukaze: Younger twin brother of Saizou V. Saizou IV: Late father of Saizou V and Suzukaze. Served the royal family as a retainer before his death.

Mizuki clan (水月)

The other founding ninja clan of Igasato whose members used to serve the royal family of Hoshido. Specialises in the use of mist/fog-related ninjutsu to confuse enemies. Notable members: Takishiro (瀧白): Head of the clan, friend of the late Saizou IV. Amane's father. Yukiko (有希子): Amane's mother. Passed away when Amame was young due to illness. Amane (天音): Daughter of Takishiro and Yukiko, and heir of the clan. Looks up to Seiji. Yagen (夜玄): Takishiro's younger brother. Was also a friend of the late Saizou IV. Seiji (清志): Eldest son of Yagen. Was heir presumptive before Amane was born.

Kagemori clan (影森)

A ninja clan from Mokushu. Specialises in the use of poisons. Notable members: Nagame (霖): "Abandoned" as a young child by his parents in order to spy on Igasato. Was taken in by the Mizuki clan and raised as a ninja. Was friends with Amane, Saizou, and Suzukaze before he defected. Aoi (蒼): Nagame's cousin.

Saizou: Orochi! Have we reached the spot where Kagerou was captured?

Orochi: Yeah, this looks like the area our scout described. However, we’ve gone so deep into the woods that I can’t be sure…

???: There you are, Saizou.

Reina: Who’s there? Show yourself!

[Orochi and Reina draw their weapons as Amane emerges from the trees, hands up in surrender, looking sheepish.]

Amane: My apologies for startling you. You must be Reina and Orochi. My name is Amane, a friend of Saizou’s.

Saizou: So it's true. You're the one who tipped off our scout.

Amane: You sound surprised.

Saizou: I am. But enough idle chit-chat. Did you see where she was taken to?

Amane: Only in so far as a dense thicket in the northeast. It’s obviously the entrance to an outpost or stronghold, but with how lightly guarded it looks on the outside…there’s no question he’s taunting us.

Saizou: Hmph. Coward.

Reina: A trap, huh? Now that's more like it!

Saizou: Don't lose focus, Reina. We can't afford to die here.

Saizou: Lead the way, Amane. We have no time to lose.

[Amane sends up a flare. Scene cuts to Seiji.]

Seiji: (Finally! Took them long enough.)

[Seiji turns to the ninjas behind him.]

Seiji: The time of reckoning has come! Time to show them what happens when they mess with Igasato!

Mizuki ninjas: Yes!

[The ninjas disappear into the trees. Seiji unsheathes his blades.]

Seiji: (Right. Let's get this over and done with.)

[Scene cuts to Nagame.]

Nagame: [expression: solemn] …

Aoi: [expression: amused] Oh? Why the long face? Aren’t you happy you finally get to see your friends again?

Nagame: …

Aoi: Oh, silly me! They’re not your friends anymore, are they? Not after—

Nagame: What do you want?

Aoi: Why, only to ensure my little cousin is well before the fighting begins, of course. I get so worried about you sometimes. Always so cold, so aloof…

Nagame: I’m fine.

Aoi: Are you sure? It can’t be easy, having to take the lives of your—

Nagame: I said, I’m fine.

Aoi: Alright then, if you’re sure～

[Scene cuts to Corrin and their party]

Corrin: Over there! Is that Saizou?

Azura: Yes, he seems to be engaging the same enemies we are. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend…” That’s how the saying goes, isn’t it? Talk to Saizou; he may be more willing to join us now than he was before.

Amane and Seiji appear on this map as ally units and will move towards Kotarou. Talking to Saizou will not make them playable units. Amane is recruited at the end of the chapter while Seiji is unrecruitable at this time.

Nagame appears as an enemy unit and will be recruited at the end of the chapter if he has not been defeated.

FE OC Week - Oct. 14: Supports

Here I promised I would work on her other relationships! If you want to find her family relationship, check out Day 2 here.

While there are many characters in Awakening Emiliya would get along, there are certain few that I feel have the best dynamic potential with her, maybe best S-supports ^~^

*A bit of warning, does have some long and heavy writing as I go through what their supports might entail :V

Libra: I often thought about this pair, since they seem to have similar upbringings about how they're cursed and all. - Libra spotted Emiliya helping the children by a nearby town, wondering what it was about, as she complied they were helping to bring food to their families in these trying times. Libra is compelled by her compassion and will , though ponders if the work is too much for her condition. It doesn’t trouble her much, even with the curse affecting her. It vexes the priest about the subject, much to Emiliya’s questioning him about it, but he dismisses it. Later on, she spotted Libra praying nearby, overheard his prayers on having Naga look after the lady referring to her. As she did approach him, leaving him surprised, she wonders what his prayers were about. Libra has watched her look after others despite her condition, and thought to praise Naga for her courage and safety. It leaves the dark mage baffled, to hear this, though she was truly compelled of how thoughtful the priest was to put faith in her. She questioned about putting faith into the gods herself, being from a “dark place” in Plegia. Libra insisted it will do good little by little for her, to give her a bit of hope. Emiliya thought to try it later in the day, though as Libra passed by, he found her pleading for forgiveness to the heavens, crying in her prayers. Libra thought to approach her, having found her speaking of her upbringings, much to Emiliya’s embarrassment he overheard it. But she was compelled to tell him of her past, as compensation for offer, with Libra reaching out to listen. After hearing such, Libra was stunned and felt empathy over the dark mage, having to stay strong in these times. It felt a bit close to home, wanting to atone for his own shortcomings, much to Emiliya’s surprise, that seeing her gave him some hope in others, even to himself. This compels the priest to be there if she needed a time to reach out for support, and he will ensure to help her in anyway, maybe help with uplifting her troubles. Emiliya felt a sense of relief to have someone like him to speak her thoughts, and she is willing to do the same for him if needed. Though she still needs to deal with her curse, Libra will still be by her side, and assure he’ll do what he must to relieve her of her curse.

Olivia: An obvious choice, for Emiliya would have spotted this shy dancer somewhere and praise her for her performance, leaving Olivia startled for a moment over seeing the dark mage out of nowhere, as they both start apologizing for the interruption. Emiliya only came to see how the dancer reminded her how she wanted to be one in her youth, though her condition renders her unable to now, leaving Olivia feeling empathetic. She shyly offered to watch even as she get easily nervous over it, but Emiliya would oblige, to be just the two of them privately, which they agree upon. Olivia would have them aside to show off her performance, as Emliya is dazzled each time, praising the shy dancer, though after their lay one, Olivia wishes to ask for a dance with Emiliya, despite acknowledging her condition, decided to do a slow one together. She came up with something that they can both try, so that Emiliya wouldn’t feel so lonely, leaving the dark mage surprised but kindly took the offer to dance along. After that dance, Emiliya asked if they wish to dance like this more often, as she enjoyed her time with Olivia, much to her shyness. She was almost reluctant but she finds it most at ease around the dark mage, would take up on the offer however they like.

Sumia: I figured they would themselves in a situation where they discuss about Sumia struggling with her clumsiness and worrying so much, as Emilya would help advise the pegasus knight, helping her feel more confident about herself. Even throwing their efforts, Sumia still comes short of how much her flaws gets in the way of helping others. Emiliya advises that she shouldn't look down on that aspect, that even the dark mage has her struggles but she still pushes on. She believes in Sumia can strive no matter her flaws, leaving a spark of inspiration to Sumia, willing to try hard and thanks Emiliya for her kindness. In turn, they turned to support each other in trying times.

Henry: an odd choice, but an interesting one, seeing he knows something about Emiliya's cursed body, something that leaves the lass a bit shocked. Henry claims to believe he has a way to subdue said curse, but Emiliya admits its not just any curse even a dark mage like her and her brother can even handle. Doesn't stop the lad from trying, despite her worries, even thought to try trading the curse onto himself, making Emiliya question his motives. He comes to terms he felt bad for Emiliya for suffering and just wanted to help, lift some weight off their shoulders for the two siblings. After Emiliya was touched by his odd compassion, she does tell him about how the curse came to be and Henry vowed he will also find a way to get rid of it, no matter if does for it (much to Emiliya's dismay).

Robin (not shown): This one naturally fits in, they would have met with Emiliya to discuss about her involvement with the army, that despite her condition she is capable to fight, though it concerns the tactician about her well-being. Emiliya reassures them there's no need to worry, though she understands their concerns, asking what they suggest. Robin thought to come up with having her in a more safer situation, much to how it reminds her of her brother suggesting the same way, much to their curiosity. They confess they're having this discussion because Jamie suggested it to them, much to their surprise, though Emiliya figured as such. The dark mage told as much how joining the army worries him, for she is most valuable to him than anyone, and so that's why she fights hard to assure she is just as capable on her own. By the end, the dark mage wonders if able she would have want Robin to stay by her side, since they seem to come to her so often, a tease on her part. They try excuse themselves but it's clear there's nothing to hide from her, as tacticians they only want to ensure everyone's safety while fighting, even as far as staying close to certain people. They both couldn't ask any more, agreeing they have each other's backs, even as their only concern how her brother thinks of that idea, much to Emiliya's teasing dismissal.

FE OC Week - Oct. 15: Endings

I wasn't sure of what to draw for this prompt, so I will just compensate with writing for this one. Also have been grateful for partaking in FE OC Week, this was fun and gave me the time to establish a bit of Emiliya's character ^~^

Also it was nice to everyone else's work ! Now, onto the endings --

Emiliya - Cursed Heart

After the war, they returned to Plegia, where she and her brother spends the rest of their years on their own, for however long it may be, until the day Emiliya was free of her curse. She never tired of helping those in need, and continue to do so, so that no more will suffer from the same fate.

W/Libra

Many an unfortunate child found joy in the small village Libra and his wife built after the war. Once Emiliya was eventually cured, thanks to his and her brother's efforts, the children treated both like loving parents, and the sorceress would ensure no children will suffer the same fate she has.

W/Olivia

After the war, Emiliya, alongside her wife, Olivia, traverse to Plegia, whereas they spent the rest of their days together in peace, for however long it may be, until the day Emiliya is free from her curse, thanks to Olivia and he brother's efforts. As the sorceress would help others, she would find time to join her spouse in dance, giving joy among others and upon themselves.

W/Sumia

After the war, Emiliya, alongside her wife, Sumia, traverse to Plegia, whereas they spent the rest of their days together in peace, for however long it may be, until the day Emiliya is free from her curse, thanks to Sumia and he brother's efforts. As the sorceress would help others, she would assist with Sumia to raise pegasi, while also join her for her flower fortunes, said to bring good luck, both were grateful to have.

W/Henry

Henry settled down with Emiliya, eventually free from her curse, and turned out to be a surprisingly good father. Their newborn son [Amal] grew up to be just as a jokester as he is as a compassionate person, free from any curse intended.

W/Robin

Many wrote of Robin's legendary exploits, but accounts of their origins and character varied. Scholars, poets, and bards agreed on one thing alone—he/she loved their wife, Emiliya, above all else.

FE OC Week - Oct. 13: Joy

Emiliya finds simple joy in helping those in need, but also look after the children in the village. Nothing differs from her experience with Plegia nor Ylisse, whenever the children see her, they always take her to tell stories to them, or play along, or show them a bit of magic, among other things.

Even teaches little ones how to dance at times, usually guiding them -- since she cannot exactly demonstrate them herself. Seeing the smiles of children brings a smile to Emiliya.

Even for adults are no different, she was always eager to lend a hand. Jamie would often insist going along, as often times he feels she can't do everything on her own, and also cautious. Emiliya doesn't mind, the joy of helping others is most important even with her brother by her side.

FE OC Week - Oct. 11 & 12: Backstory/Tragedy

Combining the two since i figured they kinda relate to each other to save time on posting

As mentioned before, Emiliya is the eldest sibling, daughter of a family of dark mages, taken responsibility to look after Jamie after their mother died from labor. A compassionate girl, who loved her home, and had a dream of wanting to be a dancer for her village in Plegia. She wasn't able to as she must look after her brother now, even though her brother would have liked to support her. Figured it was a bit unfair, but she doesn't mind at all.

Their father in all this: even as the remaining parent he uses his own children as test subjects to his curses he conjures in leisure, with Emiliya having to step in each time, even to protect her brother from the same fate, even as those actions infuriates Jamie little each day. She remained strong, despite how much she endured those experiments from their father, the pain she must endure...

Eventually, the curse started to dwell within her, to curse her body to be frail and ill, eating away her well-being. This led to Jamie taking revenge, despite his sister's plea, to take their father's life with own Nosferatu tome. Shocked in horror, Emiliya insist to have the two flee Plegia, and reside somewhere in Ylisse for the rest of their years, living in peace.

Emiliya continues to live with the curse that formed within her, slowly eating away her well-being. They only manage to treat it with a magic gold mark on her face, but even then she must deal with the constant pain and sickness, the toll it has on her body. In spite of it, she still tried to remain strong, to help the people around her, until for certain there's a cure to her curse.

FE OC Week - Oct. 10: Relationships

Here, I wish to focus on her family dynamic, I'll worry about her other relationships in the later date

Jamie Radha: Her little brother, one who she has taken care of ever since his birth (inevitably taken responsibility after their mother died giving birth to him). Jamie was rather close with his sister, as he has a distrust towards people, making it harder to befriend others. He's often most supportive of his sister, and willing to help find a cure to her curse, but Emiliya in return has to be sure he stays out of trouble.

Amal Radha: A surprised to be sure to find she has a son from Lucina's future, despite knowing her body has limits... But Amal came from a future where his mother was given remedy to even bare a child, thanks to his uncle's effort. Much left to say about him , for now it's safe to say that he also holds a compassionate side like his mother, plus more of a trickster thief at hand and learning to use magic.

Fe OC Week 3 - Backstory

Being that she was a sheltered and dependent child, Chanelle was often picked on by other children who saw her clinginess to others as a weakness.

As he was her only friend - and that she was the only person that he felt truly cared for him at the time - it was Griss who would always step in to defend her, even if it meant getting into fights.

Unfortunately, Chanelle was pretty naïve as a child and was oblivious to how Griss' parents were actually treating him.

She wanted to believe that he would be fine when she left for Firene..

Fe OC Week 2 - Relationships

Chanelle has connections with both Gregory and Griss 💚

When Chanelle was a child she lived in the same Elusian village as Griss, and the two of them were each others only friend.. that was until she left for Firene due to her health..

She was certain she'd never see him again, but fate led them to cross paths once again as enemies.

In Gregory's world, the Chanelle he knew as a child had passed away from her illness during the time his parents had sold him off to worshippers of Sombron; so meeting her again in this world is nothing short of a miracle.

They both care about one another a great deal since they've both essentially lost their own world counterparts of each other.
