It's safe to say we may never get a continuation of the Subway Surfers animated series.....and thus, we'll never get more of that sweet Frank lore....😔

So eff it! I'm making my own head canon/lore for him....and maybe finally continue to write that old frank x reader i had sitting in my google docs 🥲🥲🥲

Me: I Can’t believe there’s not many Frank x Readers stories out there even though everyone in the fandom loves Frank– wtf dudes

Also Me: -Suddenly remembers that the fandom literally only has ONE episode that features Frank fully and that’s not enough to get a full understanding of what his personality is like in canon and everyone is just working with Headcanons at the moment. Also SYBO hasn’t given an updated on the series, like if it’s continuing or not, so the fandom is in a standstill atm…plus she herself is taking forever to finish her own Frank x Reader story soooo…..- Oh……Right…..oof

Some Frank x reader ideas I have…

might as well share some story ideas I have now and see what you all think of them!

Recruitment- basically how Frank and reader met; Reader is a 3rd year college student/inventor with a lot of potential and Frank is sent by the organization he works for to recruit them…but Frank’s social skills are shit and doesn't realize that stalking following someone around, and not talking to them, might give them the wrong idea about you…and may result in you getting drop-kicked by the very person you well following….(good thing Frank is lowkey into that)

Gift - Reader notices Frank’s slowly growing frustration over his usual cute, but old bunny mask glitching out during a mission (and badly needing an upgrade). So they decide now is as good as time as any to show their partner the little side project they’ve been working on just for him. - (this features my own personal headcanon that Frank has two versions of his iconic bunny mask; the cute, slightly less intimidating one seen in the game and the very intimidating one seen in Episode 11 of the animated series)

Focus - 🔞!THIS IDEA IS NSFW- MINORS DNI!🔞 When Frank notices his partner having trouble focusing on missions- resulting in one too many small mistakes for his liking- he decides its time to take a different approach to help them stay focused.

I miss you…even if I don’t remember your name - Reader could recall some of their past; they had a family they were estranged from when they left for college, they were recruited by an organization whose name they couldn’t remember and being very close with a man…whose name and face they could hardly recall…

Fate is a sick joke - ⭐️Soulmate AU⭐️ Still thinking on which variation of the soulmate thing to use for this….all i can say is Frank is happy that he has a soulmate! :D But not too happy that his soulmate is one of Jake’s relatives….oof

And those are some of the ideas I have so far! What do you all think?

Also, I know this obvious as hell, but just in case Reader is an adult in all of these! Minors please DNI!

Story itself: ‘Reader’s’ name is [Insert writer’s OC’s name] and their appearance is-- [Insert VERY specific body/hair/eye/general appear traits that prevents the readers from using their imagination on what reader looks like/insert themselves into the story...]

Before anyone comes at me, THIS IS NOT MEANT TO ATTACK ANYONE! This is just a small pet peeve of mine whenever I look up Reader insert stories! Just in case- I do apologize if I unintentionally insult someone, that was not my intention.

Also also! I actually love looking up OC/self-insert x Canon stories. As someone who wrote them and is still writing them, just not posting them *COUGH* I really enjoy seeing other fans write them (cuz I know most people can be nervous- especially for the first time!). I just get really annoyed when they’re labeled as “Reader Inserts”.

You let out a small breath, that you didn’t even realize was being held in, when the policeman walked off the train, excusing himself past a few people that were getting on. A few of your fellow passengers gave you disapproving glares before returning to whatever they were doing before, while the rest either ignored what just happened or just shrugged it off and went back to chatting with other people.

You quickly, but calmly to avoid drawing more attention to yourself, you got up moved to stand by a window and scanned the station outside the train. Where the hell did the bunny masked guy go? You thought yourself, hugging your backpack and skateboard to your chest, just in case. He was at the top of the stairs when you sprinted to the bottom a moment ago, so he wasn’t that far behind. Yet, as you scanned the crowd of people on the platform, and even gave a quick glance to those on the train, you couldn’t find a single trace of your pursuer. Maybe the policeman talking to you scared him off? It’d make sense right? He wouldn’t risk you pointing him out to an officer, right? No matter how much the strange device currently sitting your backpack was worth to him, he wouldn’t risk getting caught by police...right? God, you really hoped that was the case. 

You flinched a little when the small speaker gave the warning that doors were closing and advising passengers to step away from the doors. Given that you were standing in front of open seats, you moved to standing just off to the side of one of the door and continued to scan the area until the doors closed and the train started moving. You let out a small sigh as relief washed over you. 

That relief died however when the train entered the dark tunnel and you glanced at the door windows. Your heart dropped to your stomach. 

There, standing just across the aisle from where you stood reflected off the window was the very bunny masked man who had been running from. Even if the mask gave the impression that he was looking forward, you knew damn well his eyes were locked onto you. Despite that, he made no move to grab you or do anything that would draw attention, but that’s because he didn’t need to...and you knew it. 

The policeman already gave you a warning about making a scene earlier and said you’d be arrested if you disturbed the peace again, so screaming and drawing attention was out- especially since technically he wasn’t doing anything to you at that moment. Moving up or down the train was to get some distance between you and him was also out since the train was packed by now, making moving impossible. Running the second the train stopped and the doors were open was also out, not only because it would look suspicious on your end, but also because you were 100% sure the second that you stuck so much as a toe out the door, the masked man would be on you in seconds. 

You were trapped. You knew it and he knew it. This game of hide-and-seek was over and he won. Yet even in your panicked mind, you couldn’t help, but also feel mildly offended by the passengers around you who went about minding their own business and didn’t pay you or your pursuer any mind. 

‘Oh, so you all can glare and judge at me for coming in riding a skateboard, but the scary, masked anon-bunny man behind me gets a pass....fuck all of you!’

Sooooo......Want to share something Subway Surfers related again! (I swear one day I’ll post something that's no SS related....maybe!)

ANYWAY, I’ve....may or may not have been working on a Frank x Reader (and in case anyone is wondering, Reader is gonna be gender-neutral so everyone can be followed/spied on loved by the masked bunny man!) 

But that’s not- entirely- what I wanted to talk about. What I wanted to talk about was an idea I had for it. 

I lowkey want to make it seem like Reader was the one who got Jake into spray painting (or at least help him improve his skills in it) and the one who showed him the underground subway tunnel.......and was lowkey responsible for Jake putting graffiti on the infinity symbol and ruining the machine Frank was tinkering with.  

Cue Frank finding out about this fact while tailing reader and trying to lowkey resist the urge to strangle Reader a little for helping Jake f*ck sh*t up, ptfffff

just a small thing I thought of-- as my dumba** lays in bed, trying to sleep-- but...

I love how most of the Subway Surfers fandom (my dumb self included), after seeing Frank in his first full appearance in episode 11-- where he’s being mysterious and spooky and literally putting a rebellious teenager on a hit-list of some kind for the crime of ruining his super cool future-ish thing with graffiti art-- collectively think (or at least headcanon) him as secretly being a soft, hopeless romantic, lonely-ass nerd who just wants cuddles......

God I love how weird fandoms can be at times lol ((again, I’m guilty of this too, I’m not throwing shade, I swear!))

OH CRAP I just remembered a small thing from the dream too! I can’t believe I forgot this!

The reason Frank removed his mask in the dream was that he was watching a video of the thugs’ latest failed attempt and took it off in anger and yelled: “OH FOR THE LOVE OF-- HOW HARD IS IT TO CATCH 4 BLOODY TEENAGERS!?” (yeah, he had a British accent in the dream btw PTFFF)

Sorry, just thought I shared that since I just remembered that HAHAHA

So my brain decided to f*ck with me last night....

I had a dream that I was watching a new episode of Subway Surfers and...to say the plot of it was a little weird is an understatement. I can’t remember the whole thing, but what very few things are: - super...future-ish motorcycle blueprints??? (I still can’t understand this) - some thugs trying to catch Jake and his friends and the most brainf*ck of this: - Frank took off his mask and spoke for the first time....

WHAT. 

I think the pure shock of seeing Frank's face and voice ended up waking me for a good moment.Sadly when I did wake up and try to look it up online, there was still no episode 12. Which leaves me with a mix of two emotions:  1. salty because there’s no episode 12 (Gdi, brain!) and 2. slightly relieved because- while I’m sure we all want confirmation of Frank’s face (and if he can talk or is canonly mute)- we shouldn’t be given the answers THAT SOON, SYBO! WTF! Give a few more episodes before dropping that on us, yo! let us earn that right to see that nerd’s face! Like I said I can’t remember the whole episode, but I do remember Frank just getting more mad and salty the more the thugs failed to catch Jake or his friends.I just can’t help, but laugh about it because he just kept getting so salty about it. I still remember one face he made and it keeps making me laugh even now- even when I cant remember most of this episode, that face is stuck in my mind and now I feel like I did to try and draw it because DANG, now that’s all I can’t think of when I think of Frank being salty af. fherghrigotrogAnyway, sorry for this post, I just wanted to share this before I forget completely! Small Edit: I think Frank only hired thugs to capture Jake and his friends to bring them to the organization and nothing else, but I cant fully remember like I said-- all I know is that I remember Frank specifying “Don’t harm them” at one point. *shrugs*

Dang, those images took a little longer to color and finish than intended, but hey, they’re done!

Okay! So it’s finally time for me to post some personal headcanons about Frank (Mainly when it comes to people (his S/O included) touching him) I do have headcanons when it comes to him dating anyone-- but I’ll share those another day, for now, it’s just touching.

Please keep in mind these are just my own personal headcanons AND they may be subject to change/evolve as the show continues hopefully it continues. So please dont throw hate my way if it doesn’t line-up with your own headcanons or something equally silly (cuz at the end of the day, it’s all in good fun!)

Anyway! enjoy! Also, it’s under a ‘Keep Reading’ cut because of length, sorry!

To start off with, let’s remember that Frank is an agent for a secret time travel/dimension-hopping/whatever-the-heck-it-does Organization. So it’s likely having any kind of personal relationship outside of the organization is either forbidden or, at the very least, highly discouraged for obvious reasons.

So for the sake of the rest of these headcanons let’s assume the s/o in question is either: A.) another agent in the organization that Frank trusts or B.) Someone who Frank has known for a long time and trusts enough to reveal his job to (and has sworn to never tell anyone for both their safety)  

now let’s get to the headcanons!

+ Frank is a man who takes his job as an agent very seriously- its a job that requires you to be on your toes, keep very few, or no, people close and the rest at a safe distance at all times. 

+ Due to this, (and possibly horrible events that may have happened in his past while on the job?), Frank has done his best to keep an emotional distance from most people and tries not to get attached to anyone. Sure he might attend a social event if he absolutely needed to and even been on a date or two, but he’s never been in a serious, or even intimate, relationship in a very long time (if at all).

+  Over time, this has led to Frank being touch-starved, and possibly even affection-starved, as well as made him suffer a form of loneliness; to a point where certain kinds of touch on his person might make him shutter or flinch.  

+ As a result, Frank very rarely lets anyone touch him- even people he works with. The most touching he’ll allow from people from the organization or strangers is a handshake and maaaaybe a small pat on the shoulder. 

+ When he and his s/o first start dating, touching may be a small problem for Frank at first- not because he hates it or anything, but because he’s used to keeping his distance and not used to his s/o’s affection yet. His S/o will have to be patient with him and keep any touching to a minimum in the beginning (like a quick hand squeeze, a small back pat and, if they’re daring, a small, quick peck on his (mask’s) cheek before they leave for work/mission/ect.  [Unbeknownst to his S/o, whenever they touch him, Frank is a blushing, flustered mess beneath his mask]

+ Overtime, Frank will start to get used to, and be more open to, his s/o touching him more (again- in a sfw, you heathens). He’ll still tremble a little bit from gentle and affectionate contact from his S/o, but at this point, he wouldn’t flinch or pull away from the sudden touch. 

+ Surprisingly, after being together a while, Frank will also start to show his S/o affection back when they’re alone together. Sometimes he’ll gently hug them, other times he might move his mask a little to gently kiss them on the cheek or the palm of their hand, and sometimes he might just take pleasure in gently stroking his s/o’s cheeks with their foreheads gently pressed together. 

+ When they get to the point of the relationship where Frank finally removes his mask and shows his face....ooooh boi. 

+ Whenever Frank’s mask is off and his s/o touches him, they get to see just how much their touches affect him; their gentle touches turn Frank from a cold, serious and mysterious secret agent to a trembling, blushing, flustered mess within seconds; completely with him leaning/nuzzling into their touch. He also sometimes has a small, dorky smile that he tries so hard to hide (but fails 98% of the time).  

+ Don’t. Even. Get me started on how Frank reacts the first time his S/o kisses him on the lips.... ;) [Let’s just say, his s/o better hope they decided to kiss him at home- or at least in an area that’s well hidden from prying eyes- because Frank ain't gonna let them pull away from that kiss for a while. <3 ]

+ Some of Frank’s favorite ways of touching his s/o (sfw edition!) is; nuzzling his nose against theirs, kissing their forehead, cuddling/spooning them in bed and burying his face into their neck. 

+ Some of his favorite ways of being touched (sfw edition) include; his cheeks being gently stroked, his s/o running their hands through his hair and being held close while he and his s/o cuddle.

WELP! after redrawing this dang drawing 5 times (BECAUSE OF DANG HANDS)....I ended up with two different versions of this picture!

One is more sweet and fluffy while the other is a little more on the angst side (I was gonna scrap the angsty one, but then I decided I like how it came out too much and didn’t want to waste it)
