For the anon who doesn't feel comfortable with carrying large sums of cash in LA, whenever I got on vacations I always take a few of my larger bills, fold them lengthwise, roll them as tightly as I can, and put them in an empty chapstick container and keep it in my pocket. No one ever suspects a thing and it also keeps me from spending all my money in one day
1. That’s brilliant.
2. But doesn’t the law of unfinishable chapstick mean that once you’ve spent most but not all of your money, the chapstick container will inexplicably disappear forever?

Anime dads are the worst.
Because they’re either dead, not around, useless, or the villain.
Or if your son is Eren Jaeger, maybe all four.

can we hear some of your main ereri headcannons? :3
Kissing.
They kiss a lot. Too much. They slot their lips together at nearly every opportunity and after a while they just stop caring if anyone sees. They place their lips all over each other’s body until they know exactly which places are sensitive and which should not be touched. Levi’s lips are soft and warm, thin. Inviting. Cute. Eren’s lips are warm and ful and not-too-often chapped, mostly because he bites his lips a lot and messes with them. A habit that is too adorable for Levi to even confront him about.
Sleeping.
Usually, they end up with Levi curled up against Eren and their lips are tangled together in a hopeless mess that takes years to fix in the morning and they often end up too warm because of Eren’s high body temperature. But it’s very nice during especially cold nights because Levi’s cold, but Eren is comforting and snoring away. He listens to Eren’s heart beat every night before he sleeps, so he’s knows Eren is right there and safe. Sometimes Levi will be the big spoon, heh. His strong arms wrap around Eren’s frame protectively and he kisses the nape of Eren’s neck and whispers sort of sweet nothings before they fall into a slumber.
"I love you"s.
I’ve got a headcanon that they either basically say it in the spur of the moment and it’s something neither will ever be able to forget or get out of their head. Because it seemed to fitting to say and so right. They don’t always say it, but they might before missions, silently. A strong, captivating gaze that speaks the words for them.
Little touches.
Sometimes they just hold the other in their arms. Pick them up by their waist and just stare into each other’s eyes. Study the colors and watch said orbs flicker and their pupils dilate. Cheek caressing, they do that. Hold the other’s dear, dear face in their hands and watch that pink bloom onto their cheeks. Nudge each other a lot. Levi pokes Eren’s side, Eren hits Levi gently with his hip, and regrets it almost instantly. Lots of pain. But they do memorize every dip and curve of the other’s body, yes yes.
Trust me, I’ve got more.

Honestly, even though some fangirls are only supportive of him because of his looks, the people in Japan really took his win to heart.
Yuzuru Hanyu was not a typical Japanese Olympian. He was an inspiration and hope because he came from Sendai, an area close to the epicenter of the March 2011 earthquake that struck.
He not only suffered like the rest of Japan, he was on the verge of giving up his dream of figure skating until Japan gave him enough funding to head to Toronto to train (because his usual skating rink was destroyed by the earthquake).
When Hanyu won, it was a lesson that anything can happen if one tries enough. Hanyu was going to give up his dream, yet he pushed on with the support of others, ultimately winning gold and breaking the 100 point barrier in a short event.
Japan welcomes him back and encourages others to not forget their dreams, regardless of the situation. And now Hanyu even said that he will make use of himself in his hometown to continue helping with the recovery from the earthquake.

Recently, girls across the United States applied for WISH, a program run by NASA which was offered to junior girls who hoped to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, a field in which women are a scathing minority.
However, today an email from NASA to the applicants canceled the program as a result of complaints from male high school students who demanded to participate as well. There is nothing wrong with men and women working together to create innovations and better the world, but with men holding 76% of the jobs in STEM and the stigma surrounding women in science, programs to specifically encourage female participation are essential.
Please join in combating this discouraging act against women in the STEM field by reminding NASA what WISH was really about.
I have several friends who have participated in this program, and it was an amazing experience for all of them. One is currently majoring in Engineering, and the other is majoring in Biology and Flute Performance. If I had known about this program when I was eligible, I would have loved to participate. It would have helped me immensely.
You’ve probably seen me posting about how isolated I feel in my male-dominated physics and math classes. If you care about changing that to help the future women interested in STEM fields, please sign this petition.
