This commission kept me busy the last months. It's a Dream Valley Sylves, and included: - two tone full-body dye job, including wings and tail (the tail alone has 19 parts...) - full body airbrush job (smoothing out the dye job, adding the actual airbrush color fades on top, metallic shimmer effects, scale details) - face-up - sueding, and stringing it back together I don't even know how many hours I put into this guy, I guess I should just be glad he wasn't SD :D Sadly a lot of the really cool effects (like his color shifting claws, or the partly invisible scales that only show up in certain angles) are invisible on photos, but he sparkles a lot in real. Ara

PS: He's (sadly) not inspired by Spyro ;)

And another, a Dollzone Anubis! I added claws to the feet to match his hand, dyed him partially black and then airbrushed on top. He got blue and golden highlights to add a little bit of pop to the black base.

Unfortunately I dyed half my kitchen black as well, did not expect iDye Poly to just...go...everywhere in the air. But the black is pretty nice!:')

Fairyland Rick wings, that are so big they completely refused to be properly photographed :’D Red galaxy theme on the inside, red interference paint on glossy black base on the outside. Commission on Dollshe Saint faceplates, first part! I first took on this commission ten years ago, on another SA Saint faceplate. Now the new owner asked me to give that guy a fresh attempt, with a matching OE face this time too. Since the old SA should not be wiped I was able to make a comparison between the two SAs, pretty crazy to see them together like that. The OE was airbrushed to match, since it was quite yellowed. Because of that the surface is pretty grainy, and the details as well, but I am pretty happy how well the skintones match now. Still trying to repaint all the chess figures, and my Beryl was finally next. She had the oldest surviving face-up of mine here in the household, from 2012, so it was really time to repaint her! Her face-up had also oddly yellowed and bleached out over time, which made me worried her face had yellowed unevenly. Thankfully she looked just fine once I had wiped her off. Painted my Granado Enoch, the King in the chess world story. I had already painted his original head a year ago, but since I got another (full) Enoch now I painted his new head to replace the old non-matching one. He’s a bit more natural this time, since the last version had a lot of heavy black blushing around his face that was cool but also looked a bit weird in real. Another personal piece, my Granado Andrew. I replaced his head with a newer version (the Evol Andrew), since it has a bigger neck and fits better on his current body. That gave me the chance to take a before/after picture, without having to wipe off the old face-up :D Very happy how the burn scar turned out, even though I still see ways to improve. Dollshe Adonis, with elf ear mod and some overall smoothing of the face. First time sculpting elf ears for me :) The final pictures don’t show it well, but the freckles on his temples are actually gold paint and the tips of his ears shine and shimmer like crazy as well. Praise the Sun! \[T]/ Took some photos of his iconic pose as well. And yes, yes, I know his fingers are spread apart, but tell that Spiritdoll (and my inability to edit it better) ;) @chocodecadence 3D printed his helmet/props (from various free Thingiverse sources), and @katsiarynka_workshop knitted the chain mail and sewed the base parts for his outfit/made the belt. I then airbrushed, weathered, painted and modified everything.
