Everything is Heiki Hecchara! An incorrect quotes blog for the symphogears. We accept submissions and are NOT looking for new mods. I understand now how grave an error that would have been.
Hibiki: the protagonist. She doesn’t fight with a weapon because she needs to hold girls hands. Her only ambition in life is to save people and go on dates with her girlfriend Miku. She was god once, it was bad. Her dad left after she almost died once. At least He’s trying to be better now but come on dude.
Chris: the Tsundere/ Lancer of the group. Fights with oh so many guns and surfs on missiles. Her backstory is so fucked up. Her parents performed charity concerts in War torn countries. They died when she was like ten and she was captured by bad guys. Eventually she ended up with a very abusive woman who made her be evil for a while. Eventually she did joy the found family and regained her love for singing. That’s all just season one. She’s grumpy and easily embarrassed but tries to be a good “big sister” for Shirabe and Kirika. Definitely has a crush on Hibiki and Miku.
Shirabe: the Yo-yo Master. Cuts monsters with giant buzz saw chain saws and exclusively fights on rollerblades. Practically inseparable from Kirika to the point she has trouble working with anyone else. They were part of the same “turn orphans into magical girl weapons” experiment along with Maria. She briefly had a heart to heart with a man I’m pretty sure was her grandfather but she never realized. She’s pretty quiet.
Kirika: Shirabe’s golden retriever girlfriend. Self proclaimed “happy go lucky girl from the depths of hell.” Meaning she’s cheerful and goth. She fights with a scythe and loves shouting the word “Death” all the time. Part of the same “Turn Orphans into magical girl weapons” experiment as Shirabe and Maria. She took longer to join the good guys because she thought she was being possessed by an immortal ghost lady.
Miku: the token normal girl for most of the story, unless she was being brainwashed by the bad guys. Has “my girlfriend is a superhero” traumas. She was also god for a little bit, it was also bad. Maybe the real god was these lesbians we found along the way. She and Hibiki call each other “my sunshine” or “my sunflower” and every time my heart melts.
Elfnein: a doll created by and with the memories of a several hundred year old witch who wants to destroy the planet after her dad was burned at the stake. Elfnein helped stop her and got adopted by the hero’s support staff. She acts as the guy in the chair for the latter seasons. She’s very sweet and polite.
#A5: Two girls unravel mysteries surrounding an isolated manor
#A6: Sad lesbians sing while fighting monsters
Details and poll under the cut!
#A5: Shadows House
youtube
Summary:
The Shadows, characterized by their pitch-black appearance and tendency to emit soot when agitated, are a family of nobles who reside in a colossal manor deep within the mountains far from other humans. When a Shadow child is nearly of-age, they are assigned a Living Doll who acts not only as their attendant but also as their second half—the faces they could have had if not for their complexion.
Emilico is a cheerful, newly created Doll who serves a rather soft-spoken master named Kate. Despite their difference in personalities, Emilico does what she can to carry out the needs of her master. As she learns more about her role and duty, Emilico begins to meet her fellow Dolls and their respective masters and comes to know more about the purpose of her existence.
"Do not fret over trivial matters," says one of the rules by which all Dolls must abide. But how could the ever-curious Emilico do so in the face of the deep secrets that the Shadows House holds?
Propaganda:
The atmosphere of the manor is probably the most effective aspects of the story, creating a feeling of isolation and worry as Kate and Emilico try to survive in the mansion. The show starts off pretty subtle, but as it progresses it becomes more and more strange and off-putting. This series is an incredibly interesting, layered mystery, and the horror elements are excellently done.
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse, Emotional Abuse
#A6: Symphogear (Senki Zesshou Symphogear)
Summary:
The world is beset by creatures known as the Noise. Nothing can touch them, and if they touch a human being, both turn into carbon dust. But, with the symphogear system-magitech battle armor powered by music and singing, humanity has a chance to fight back.
Propaganda:
This is the best example of music fights I’ve ever seen. They sing WHILE fighting. It’s amazing. The fight choreography, how the music plays into it, and let’s not forget the incredible character development. The entire cast is full of characters that would be the highlight of any other show. And last but not least, it is off the walls insane fun. You think it reaches its heights at the end of season 1, but no. It keeps climbing, and you are along for the ride.
All warnings apply to the main characters, some are for the later seasons (drugs, guns (especially S2)). Slavery and kidnapping are rather said than shown and are fom a flashback.

You know what's funny? For someone who's often said in-universe to be simple, Hibiki is surprisingly compelling to watch. She's kind. She likes to help others, but she has just enough other character attributes that make her fun to watch, but she also makes her mental emotional physical struggles worth watching. Like, throughout GX, we see her how upset and frustrated about how her fists can only really solve "simple" problems, but never the " complicated" ones in the world, or in the S1, where she realizes, with Ogawa's help, that while she can't replace Kanade, she wishes to still carry on her words.
Also, her relationship with Miku is super sweet and incredibly gay.
if you havent already please listen to waikyou shenshoujing. its a phenomenal song
i'll also put the lyrics under a read more for those interested. the motivation for the villain is one of love, twisted for an evil purpose. it's tragic and beautiful.
anyway i hope everyone at least gives the niche yuri anime song its due
In a flash, the world begins… in pitch black, the world ends
Exterminated… the place I call home, the place where my sunshine is
Stars fell, on that distant day… my memories, all of them are distant
Give it back, give it back… that song reverberating warmly
Your left hand slips from the grasp of my fingers
But the thing is that, I want to protect you, too…!
Those nostalgic memories of ours are a melody we spin together
In the past, in the present—yes, and into the future, too!
I will never hand you over; I can't let you stray any farther
That's the love I have for you… see, I love you so much
It's refracting, my broken love… it's wailing, my wounded love
I'll sing, lalala, of its demise… lalalala, I'll sing
In chaos, I lost my dream… in limbo, my dream of your smile
How come… how come…? Where did it all go so wrong?
It doesn't matter what you might think of me
I don't want to let you bear this burden all on your own
It's a forgotten memory, that day we laughed and cried messily
The firm grasp of your hand was warm, oh so very warm…
I will never forgive you; I can't let you forgive me for this
That's why I'm fighting—that's right, I'm fighting
I won't look away, and… I won't give up
I'll see the shooting stars with you one more time…!
Those nostalgic memories of ours are a melody we spin together
In the past, in the present—yes, and into the future, too!
I will never hand you over; I can't let you stray any farther
That's the love I have for you… see, I love you so much
