Can I share a hopefully funny story? The comic you reblogged about Appletun's eyes reminded me of it. I went from 2003 to 2014 believing that Jirachi was a marsupial. I thought the line on its tummy indicated a pouch, and that's how it granted wishes. So for a decade I'm thinking it just reaches into its pouch like a cartoon and pulls some magic dust out of it and Boom, wish granted. Imagine my reaction when I battled my husband's Jirachi in Pokémon X and the EYE OPENED! I was shook.

As someone with no attachment to any mythicals, same. I’ve never looked at Jirachi long enough to realise it’s an eye and not a pouch.
