3/23/24:

Hey y'all, my current job hasn't been offering me enough hours to be on track to move for my new job (a necessity to get me out of my bad living situation). On top of this, plans to move in with others fell through, my therapy is costing me 500 dollars a month until I reach my deductible (which I won't until it rolls over), and I have NO HOURS this last week of March (3/23-3/31). I'm basically screwed and can barely tread water.

Since I'm already not working this week, if you shoot me any amount of dough, I can spend this time instead drawing you thank-you art! Just DM me some references. I'll spend more time depending on what you send but everyone will at least get something cool like the art below!!!

I can also offer PWYW tarot readings if you're into that, or proper coms if you want more creative control (which is reflected in the cost!) This is an outdated sheet I made for something else but it's still mostly accurate (tarot style = any full body/full illustration, ignore the bit about thank you doodles at the very bottom since I'll draw you something for any amount!)

3/19/24: Hey y'all, I'm absolutely going to need to move in a few months for my new job and my current work hasn't offered me the hours I need to be on track for it. While this isn't a total emergency, if I can't raise some dough I'm basically screwed.

I still feel bad about begging so if you can spare something, I want to draw you some thank-you art in return: just DM me some references and character details if you'd like! Here's some examples of some things I've done before:

These will be completed over the last week of march while I'm out of work, and I'll spend roughly an hour on your thank you art for each 10 bucks donated, but I'll still doodle something for less than that. (The first drawing above was like, a 20 minute warm up, so that's what you can expect for a few dollar dono.)

I'm gonna be a little mask-off for this post and I apologize if it makes anyone uncomfortable, but lately I've been seeing A LOT of people tag/discuss-thru-reblogs Miraculous Characters (specifically the kids) on fetish/kink community posts lately and it's been making me wildly uncomfortable.

Ignoring the fact that you're sexualizing middle school aged characters (who yes, I'm aware are fictional, I'm still allowed to be uncomfortable by it) you do realize like, most of these original posts are ALSO made by real people who are seeing your tags/replies, right?

Outside of this blog I'm pretty active in kink spaces/communities. I understand that posts sometimes breach containment, especially tamer ones. But if someone reblogged one of my explicitly Adult ™ posts on their childrens-show-blog, tagging it with child characters from that children's show, that would probably rattle me. Maybe if you were a small blog I could block you and move on, but if you had a large following, especially if a lot of that following includes minors? It's a definite possibility that that could cause real and lasting problems for me.

I don't think anyone is meaning any ill intent, just please be conscious of what you're posting/adding to people's posts.

I think ml is best enjoyed when we all agree we watch an extremely flawed show and yet realize that most everyone just. deeply loves these characters. so many people have been watch for 5+ years—that’s a lot of emotional and life investment.

I think ppl who are overjoyed about the setup or feel at least alright with the s5 ending should talk about it; I think ppl who feel extremely let down, confused, or all around disappointed should talk about it. honestly the whole conversation has been pretty stunted the last few months which surprised me; I expected these conversations to be had july 2nd lol. and yet I think everyone has been pretty respectful to each other. I love seeing everyone’s opinion!! if someone asks for discussion or wants to see a different POV, then I think that’s great!! sometimes people just want to rant or rave though. some people will post to start an intentional discussion; some people won’t (and that’s ok!)

and if you’re someone who tries to intentionally knock someone else’s happiness with the ending, you’re lame. if you try and engage with someone who isn’t happy with it and only try and convince them as a way to “win” or you somehow feel they “don’t get it” in a very derogatory way, you’re lame. go read a fic and take a nap. there’s a lot of fun to be had in fandom so no reason to create grief lol.

alright I’ve run into some revealfic that has given me this sudden and terrible and cruel thirst for a set-up in which Marinette tells Alya, Nino, and Adrien that she’s Ladybug because [insert literally any valid excuse here; I make no pretenses about caring, none at all]. Alya flips out for all the obvious reasons and Nino’s just like “jfc this explains so much” and both their minds are, like, blown and it’s all a big old fuss like “MARINETTE WHAT THE HELL AND ALSO MARINETTE HOW THE HELL DID WE MISS THIS”. 

And meanwhile Adrien is just, like. Sitting there. Sitting there very quietly in the middle of all the chaos, with his hands folded in his lap. Marinette gives him this nervous little look, worried about how he’s going to react, and Adrien puts on his Model Smile™ and beams at her, his whole face lighting up. 

“You’re amazing, Marinette!” he says brightly, absolutely fucking heartbroken.

Because Marinette told her secret identity to Alya, and Nino, and him, who she’s held maybe half a dozen semi-coherent conversations with and barely knows outside of his good son act. 

But Ladybug didn’t trust Chat Noir with it.
