Today marks a full decade since the residents of Flint, Michigan last had clean drinking water. The city's pipes were supposed to be fully repaired four years ago and they still aren't anywhere close.

Meanwhile, a portion of the bottled water that was meant for the residents was found unopened, probably leaching BPA at this point.

People like Rick Snyder who were primarily responsible will never get their day in court due to clashing egos over how to prosecute them.

If Flint, Jackson and East Palestine are only the tip of the iceberg on what's ahead, then America is in for a really painstaking collapse.

There was a global uprising in June 2020 after the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. And while many corporations attempted to placate Black and Brown protesters in various manners, the hip-hop world offered what felt like the bare minimum.

I was very cautious almost four years ago when rappers stopped rapping anti-intellectual content and got political, wondering how long it would last. As it turned out, the 2021 Grammys was the end of this faux political run.

So, Roland Clark was proven correct when he said that hip hop has lost its ability to uplift black people.

That dynamic continues today, as the biggest rap stars are often politically neutral in public, and a focus on profits has softened much of the genre’s political bite.

Rappers hanging out and joining forces with establishment politicians at events says it all. As more rappers get comfortable with the top one percent, we have already seen some of them move drastically to the right. This makes it more acceptable for rappers to continue pushing anti-intellectual content that drags down black people.

So I found Aaron Bushnell's reddit and went through his comments/posts. That young man was well read and stable as they can be. Nothing in his writings pointed to someone who was "unstable" or "brainwashed".

He held leftist and anarchist ideals. He belong to the ACAB subreddit. He recognized the evil of the US Military even though he himself was apart of it. He hated TERFS and called out fatphobia. He understood the dangers of white supremecy and the evils of capitalism.

He had a cat. He liked the show fleabag and played elden ring.

Apparently in his will he wants to leave any money in his name to palestinian relief funds. He was trying to find a new owner for his cat.
