Besame cosmetics have the best lipstick collection! I loved almost all shades.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#makeupmonday | besame cosmetics mini lipstick in forever red | $17 for 3-set
i now know why besame is the #1 recommendation of vintage gals in terms of lipstick. i’d been dying to try them out for a really long time, and they honestly live up to the expectations — and then some! applied according to the directions (using the edge as a liner, filling in, blotting, setting with some translucent powder, and reapplying a second layer), it does not budge. the top right picture is the lipstick freshly applied, and the bottom right picture is how it looked after lunch and a nap!
the shade i’m wearing (forever red, a replica of a shade from 1925!) is lighter, more blue-toned and applies more smoothly than other comparable reds in my collection, which have a brick undertone. it’s a soft matte finish that wears very comfortably. the mini lipstick bullet is adorable and comes in a set of three, with a chocolatey-brown shade and a lively pink shade. i highly recommend it!

Favorite Brightening Serums!
Hi everyone 👋I know I have been a little off and I promised to post so many reviews, but I decided to take my time with using different products so I can provide you with an honest review. I said I would post a review about the Huxley Brightly Ever After Essence, and I am keeping my promise. However, I will be comparing to with 9wishes - Mega Vitamin Ampule Serum. To be honest, it is really hard to compare these two as both of them have unique features.
I will start with Huxley’s Brightly Ever After Essence!
First of all, I know some of you are wondering that the name is called an essence and the other one is a serum. Well, for the Huxley essence it had a slightly thicker texture than the one for 9wishes. I used both of them in the serum step since I do not usually apply essences these days. My first impression was on the smell of the serum, as it was amazing and those of you who have used Huxley products would know that they are known for their natural scents in their products. Another thing I could say about the serum is that the texture was satisfying and it was not sticky after applying at all which was a plus. Coming to the results, it was the first brightening serum I have used so I can see a huge effect on my skin like I can see my skin glow after 3 days of use. I had a really good experience using this serum and I do really recommend it for those who are looking for brightening serums.
Next is the 9wishes Vitamin Serum!
This serum was recommended for me in a local store to reduce the appearance of acne scars. My first impression on this one was on the fact that it had no scent whatsoever. It did wonders on my face, it had actually evened my skin tone. One bad thing about this serum is that it is sticky, however, you can overcome this when you apply your moisturizer afterward. This is also recommended for sensitive skin as it is very gentle on the skin and very light, it has a watery like texture. I was obsessed with this serum that I repurchased it again.
Finally, I would like to point out that both serums gave me great results and I do recommend both of them for all skin types. However, I liked the 9wishes serum more as I liked the effect that it gave plus how light and gentle it is on my face. I provided the links for the products from YesStyle and I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them if you decided to try them out.

I did use some of the products you recommended like Laneige lip sleeping mask and the two cleansers as well. I really liked them. Thanks for your answer and yes you understood me right;)
In your opinion, what are the best Korean skincare products to be used in winter for all skin types?
Took me forever to get to this, thanks for the wait!!
So, I’m taking this is all skin types and not each skin type individually. (if I’m taking this wrong, I apologize. I’m not a native English speaker)
Long post ahead!
Cleanser:
I think good cleansers to use in winter are the ones made for dry and or sensitive skin. They are usually less harsh and drying on the skin. I do not necessarily recommend foam cleansers, but because a lot of people love them, here’s one.
NeoGen Green Tea Real Fresh Foam Cleanser:
Tumblr media
This one is actually my favorite all year round but especially in winter (+ gets off all your makeup). The BanilaCo Clean It Zero Balm Nourishing:
Tumblr media
Toners:
I think the Innisfree Cica Toner is great:
Tumblr media
Also the Mamonde Rose Water Toner (very moisturizing):
Tumblr media
Serum:
I don’t really use serums at the moment so I’m a bit out of the loop there, but I heard the A’Pieu Madecassocide Ampoule is good.
Tumblr media
Exfoliator:
Honestly I do not recommend physical exfoliators ever (chemical, enzyme, toners,… are more to my liking), especially not in winter. My favorite kind of exfoliation are exfoliating toners, such as the Mamonde Peeling Toner:
Tumblr media
Lip Care:
I think Lip Masks are great to use in winter. My current favorite is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I even gave a sample to all of my friends.
Tumblr media
Moisturizer:
A really great and affordable moisturizer for the wintertime is the Etude House Soonjung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream.
Tumblr media
I know a lot of people swear by the Laneige Water Bank Cream, but I wanted to show a more affordable option. This line by Etude House has some other affordable and very moisturizing products as well (toner, essence,…)
Hand Cream:
A staple during winter. I love the Innisfree Camellia Hand & Cuticle Balm.
Tumblr media
Other Winter Skin Care Tips:
- Drink enough water! I know a lot of people who tend to drink less during winter because they don’t feel the urge like they do in summer, but remember to drink enough every day regardless.
- Don’t pick on dry/flaky skin. Moisturize, do a face mask or exfoliate if you need to.
- Stay away from hot water! I know it’s tempting, but don’t shower too hot. It will dry out your skin even more.
- Cleanse once a day, if possible. If your skin can take it, only use a cleansing product in the evening. Try out washing your face only with water in the morning.

Hii! What do you think about skincare reapplications ? Like the need to reapply some products during the day, is it essential? Or applying it once in the morning is enough even if I had to wash my face 6 hrs later.
assuming we’re working with a solid routine as a basis, the only product really worth reapplying is sunscreen (more on that here and here). cleansers are only necessary twice or even once a day, moisturizers should have a lasting effect if they’re well-formulated and adequate for your skin type (the exception being perhaps extremely dry climates or skin that has specific conditions causing dryness, which may lead to reapplications as needed), and active-containing products should be used only once or twice a day or even less often, so as to avoid causing sensitivities and doing more harm than good.
if you do your skincare, say, at 8am and then at 2pm you had to wash your face after PE or the gym or something of the sort, you’ll be fine doing the most basic of basics: cleanse, moisturize, SPF. if you have a good SPF, it’ll do both the moisturizing and the sun-protecting in one step, so there you go!

CNP Anti Pore Blackhead Clear Kit - Review
Okay so I have mentioned that I purchased CNP clear kit from YesStyle and I gave my reasons and hopes... right now, I can review it after using it 4 times! Yes, only 4 times and I have seen the best results I have got in the whole year! When I applied the first step it was a minty smell that stings a little. Nothing you can’t handle! I put it on for 10 minutes and when I removed it I can see the blackheads coming out. Literally. This is like using one of those nose strips but in a very gentle and satisfying way! Then you clear the pores and apply the second step which is made to minimize or close the pores. I put it for 5 minutes and then I felt my skin. I have never had a smooth skin like this! Maybe you think I am exaggerating. However, I have though the same thing as well before purchasing but when I tried it. This thing is real! 😍
For all the people who are struggling with pores and want to have a smoother and softer skin, this product is what you are looking for! Trust me.

YesStyle Haul #2
As promised, I got my package and I am going to give you an idea of what I will be reviewing next.
Tumblr media
The picture sparks amazing products. I am so excited to start using these products. Okay, let’s start with I’m From - Rice Face Mask. I have been dying to use this mask as I am in love with products that contain rice. They literally make my skin sparkle. I did buy I’m From - Rice Toner as well to boost the effect of having a brighter skin. I have tried using the face mask twice till now and I can say that it makes the skin softer, however, it has rice grains to give scrubbing effect so I don’t recommend it for sensitive skin types. I feel like these two products are very promising
I have also made a second purchase for COSRX - Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser, as it really helped control my oily skin and prevented breakouts. While purchasing CNP Laboratory - Anti-Pore Black Head Clear Kit was a result of EuniUnni recommendation ~You should really check her videos, you’ll become an addict ;) ~. I am dealing with my pores lately as I mentioned in my previous posts that's why I am super excited to try this product and see the results. A review coming for that, that's for sure!
Exfoliating for me is essential. I feel like my skin is never clear if I am not using something to clear the dead skin and refresh the pores. I purchased Dr.G - Brightening Peeling Gel 120g due to a local store recommendation, they told me that this will help with dead skin buildup.
I have been looking for the perfect sunscreen for a long time, and I have heard good reviews on MISSHA - All-Around Safe Block Essence Sun Milk SPF50+ PA+++ and I really wanted to give it a try, so far I have been using it for 4 days and its very light and not sticky at all. I really liked the effect.
I wanted to also give PETITFEE - Koelf Madecassoside Clarifying Body Spray a try for my back acne. I checked the reviews and I want to see if that really works or not. I will include that in future reviews as well.
Finally, sheet masks from make p:rem one is Comfort Me. Brightening Hole Mask and the other is Comfort Me. Firming Hole Mask. I really like sheet masks that give you firming effect and I hope this one works well with my skin. So excited.
That is it for the haul, I am definitely making a future review post on these products. I want to also post my current routines, there are some products that I I have been using for a month now and I will write a review on the ones that gave me the best results so you can benefit from the experience. I really hope you find this post enjoying and I’d love to hear your feedback. Stay tuned for the reviews. You can always get a discount from YesStyle using this code ====> SBQLN7 <====

I would recommend you try Laneige Water Sleeping Mask if you haven’t already. This can really keep you well moisturized at night. If you like to use serums to boost glowing skin, you should try Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum. This serum can give you a brighter skin. It all depends on what you include in your daily routines. I think you should keep balance of the consistency of products you are using. If you feel like you use too many heavy products reduce the consistency of some of them try light products. The sleeping mask I recommended has a really light texture while keeping your skin well moisturized. Also, as you said it depends on the time of the year if its winter, you need to have a heavier routine than the one in summer. You can also share the products you have used to get a better look of what you’re routine was like.
I hope this helped!
I don’t want to sound whiny but i have a normal skin type, it just gets drier some periods of the year but I don’t have any particular problems.
WHAT CAN I USE FOR MY FUCKING SKIN? Everywhere it’s “for your dry skin”, “oily skin?try this”, “the solution for your sensitive skin”...
I tried using different products, but sometimes they feel to heavy, or not enough moisturising.... help

Review of iroro’s DearScalp Enhancive Anti-Hair Loss Treatment
iroro is a Korean haircare brand that ‘begins on the scalp.’ It aims to help your scalp breathe with active ingredients that keep the scalp and hair healthy as well as slows hair loss. Their DearScalp Enhancive Anti-Hair Loss Treatment is designed to help with your hair’s resiliency and refreshes the scalp and helps to reduce hair loss. It’s an all in one treatment that helps with nutrition, softens hair and reduces hair loss. Key ingredients include: jojoba seed oil (moisturizing, controls excess oil, soothing, anti-aging), shea butter (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, protects hair from damage, coats hair shaft, restores damaged hair, vitamin-rich), panthenol (hydrating, moisturizing, adds shine and gloss to hair, improves hair strength), zinc pyrithione (effectively cleans scalp, improves hair growth, thickens hair, removes dead skin from the scalp), salicylic acid (helps to cleanse scalp and removes dead skin, improves scalp for healthier hair growth) and vinegar (balances scalp pH levels, anti-sebum, antibacterial, antifungal, clarifying, adds body, reduces frizz, stimulates hair growth). This product retails for between $17-20 USD, you can get it here for $17 + free shipping.
Ingredients
Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Myristate, Behentrimonium Chloride, Steartrimonium Chloride, Sorbitol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Camellia Kissi Seed Oil, Phaseolus Radiatus (Mung Bean) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Seed Oil, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Acacia Concinna Fruit Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Isopropyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Panthenol, Laureth-4, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Zinc Pyrithione, Polyquaternium-7, Butylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Benzoate, Tromethamine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Vinegar, Allantoin, Inositol, Phosphate Buffered Saline, Sodium Polynaphthalenesulfonate, Al-(Tetrapeptide-38 Hexapeptide-40 Nonapeptide-39 sh-Polypeptide-105), Propanediol, Lecithin, Ceramide NP, Squalane, Phytosterols, Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Fragrance
To quickly note, I received this for a small fee from 0.8 Liter for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
Tumblr media
This product contains 200 ml (6.76 oz) and has a really nice hair salon kind of fragrance.
Tumblr media
This product comes in a large squeezy tube which is a little hard because the product is kind of thick.
Tumblr media
The hair treatment is white in color and is a thick cream.
Tumblr media
It spreads out like a cream moisturizer and has a very moisturizing feeling.
Tumblr media
It’s really easy to smooth through the hair and immediately makes it feel softer.
Tumblr media
After rinsing it out my hair feels really smooth and soft and is nice and shiny.
Recommended use is after using shampoo, apply an appropriate amount, massage the hair gently for 2-3 minutes and then wash out with lukewarm water and it’s recommended to allow hair to air dry or dry with the cool air function of your dryer. After using, first off I really love the scent of this hair treatment, it’s really nice smelling like a salon or a spa even. The texture of the treatment is very thick and creamy and so not much is needed. It smooths through the hair really easily and is really effective at softening the hair pretty much immediately. I prefer to leave it in longer than 2-3 minutes but I think it would be effective after 2-3 minutes because it starts to soften the hair quickly. The ingredients are also really nice and there are many components to help clear the scalp of dry and dead skin and help to clear the way for new hair growth. It didn’t make my scalp flaky or dry out my hair. My hair feels really soft and looks really shiny and it does a good job of smoothing out any frizz but most of all I noticed that I lost less hair after using it with the shampoo than on days where I shampooed without it. I’d recommend this to anyone with fine or thinning hair or anyone who has a dry or flaky scalp or if you just want to help improve your hair growth.
What I like: I love the texture of the mask, it’s very thick and creamy and feels like a heavy moisturizer. The ingredients are really nice and ideal to improve hair growth and cleanse the scalp without causing any flakiness. It also really moisturizes the hair and improves shine and controls frizz. The scent is really nice and a little goes a long way so this product should last quite a while. It also starts to work quickly and it greatly reduces the amount of hair loss after shampooing. What I don’t like: nothing really.
Pros:
Moisturizing
Adds shine
Nice ingredients
Slows hair loss
Nice fragrance
Littles goes a long way
Cleanses scalp of dry and dead skin
Nice quality
Cons:
None
Would I buy again?
Yes
Rating: 10/10

YesStyle Haul
How’s everybody doing? In this post, I am going to put the products I bought from YesStyle in September. Many of them worked for me very well.
Let me start with LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask 70ml, I have talked about this in my previous post and this product is second purchase! I just wanted to say that if you don’t have this sleeping mask, go buy it! You don’t need to have any doubts, trust me! One of the best products I have ever used. It has a silky-like texture and it is very smooth. When applied, it is not sticky and absorbs very well. The results you can see when you wake up the next morning and cleanse, you’ll feel that baby face touch.
The second product is It'S SKIN - Power 10 Formula PO Effector 30ml, I bought this to target my enlarged pores and I was looking for something that will help me minimize them. It did do the job very well. I liked the texture, it was like a creamy light texture. I used this for 2 months now and I have finished the bottle. It did minimize my pores, however, this is possible only because I was cleaning my pores properly and deep cleansing to get the best result.
The next product is BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Revitalizing 100ml, I don’t have to talk much about this magic balm. I have tried the original one and did not use this one yet, but the product is very satisfying, it really clears out the face and melts makeup very good without having to use a cotton pad to remove it.
Another product is LABELLE - Rechargeable Sonic Peel 6th Edition (L6), I bought this tool to have my own home facial. I have been using it once a week for the last two weeks. I can feel the absorbance when I use it in ionic mode. Also, it does help take out impurities from my pores. I use this after cleansing and applying wash off mask and of course, I have to use a mist before starting
The final product is the BANILA CO - Multi 5 Layers Cotton Pads 80pcs, I bought this with five layers because I use my toner as a mask. I like to soak some essence in that as well and let it lay on my face to have a better effect. They are not tough cotton pads so that makes it a plus.
That is it for the haul, I am very sorry for being late. I wanted to post everything when I am done with testing the products and I was a bit busy so. There is another YesStyle haul coming your way this month. Make sure you don’t miss that! I am also open to any questions and feedback. Also, the prices for the products are in the links and I bought these on percentage discount that YesStyle offers. You can always use this code for YesStyle discount if you like ====>  SBQLN7 <====

Trying out Mediheal sheet mask
So, for today I decided to include a sheet mask in my morning routine and that was Mediheal’s tea tree care solution essential mask.
I didn’t want to review it until evening to see the effect of its essence and let me tell you this thing did wonder to my pores. Also, the packet contained more essence which I poured into an empty bottle for later use.  It was a really calming experience, I liked the fabric it was a silky fiber sheet. I really do recommend it.
You can find this product in YesStyle 10 pieces for $22.

How to get into skincare & start a routine
I know skincare might seem hard but if you know your skintype and the basics you can start your own skincare routine and get going on it.
If you know your skintype skip this but if you don’t here are the skintypes and see which one you fall in too .
Dry skin - your skin feels rough when touching it (basically not that soft) you have dry patches and get flakes. Lastly you don’t get pimples much or at all.
Oily skin - you don’t do anything and your whole face has a shiny look with some places even shiner like your forehead or nose. You can touch any part of your face and it will feel slightly oily or greatly depending and lastly you get pimples.
Combination skin - like it sounds, some places of your face will feel oily but then other places will feel dry or not oily at all. For example your forehead is oily but your cheeks are dry.
Sensitive skin - you have dry skin and/or redness and when you touch your face it gets red easily. Also you get dryness or itching if products don’t work for you.
Normal skin - you’re lucky if you have normal skin, you don’t really suffer from anything skin wise and you don’t get pimples much or at all. Your face doesn’t feel oily or dry.
Remember you can also have dry sensitve skin or oily sensitive skin which isn’t that common but in that case you would make sure any skincare product you use suits sensitive skin too.
Now for the skincare routine
Cleanse (wash your face) - I would strongly recommend double cleansing (benefits everyone) but if you’re new to skincare just pick a cleanser for all skintypes or your skintype so you can use morning & night because the important thing here is to wash your face. If you’re on a low budget the drugstore has good skincare so you’ll be alright. You can cleanse with a miceller water, cleansing water, or facewash. If you get acne, cleansers with salicylic acid or charcoal cleansers are good options.
Exfoliate - exfoliaters get rid of dead skin cells which keeps your skin glowing. Do this 1-2 times a week after cleansing. Skinfood has good exfoliaters for $10 at ulta.
Moisturize - every skintype needs moisturizer regardless and it’s essential for that glow. Once again pick one for all skintypes or your skintype. If your oily/ combo skin use a gel moisturizer since it gives you hydration without making you look oily. If your dry or sensitive stick with creams since you need that deep hydration and if your normal you can use any moisturizer whether it’s a gel or cream.
Get a facemask - get a facemask to keep your skin nice & for any skin concern you might have. You can get a hydrating brightening, or deep cleaning one. Clay masks are good to really clean your face and keep your face clear. All skintypes can use them but it especially benefits anyone with oily skin or pimples, the same goes for mud masks or charcoal masks. Freeman has good masks for around $5 you can try out at any drugstore.
Sunscreen - use sunscreen to keep your skin young looking and make sure to put some on your neck & hands too. The sun does a lot of damage and also makes acne scars worse so start when you can. Even though sunscreens are for any skintype, if you’re dry look for a hydrating one, if your’re oily look for one that says non greasy and if your sensitive make sure it works for sensitve skin. Korean sunscreens are bomb because they feel so nice so look into that.
Quick tips
Always moisturize after masks/sheetmasks to get the most out of the mask and because your skin still needs it .
Simple is a good drugstore brand for all skintypes even sensitve skin, worth checking out.
If you’re interested in a skincare product at the store go home and look up the reviews and read if it works.
I said this already but make sure any product you use is for your skintype or all skintypes so it has a higher chance of working for you .
Any skincare product that says brightening means it evens your skintone, helps fade acne scars, and is good for that glow.
Calming or soothing masks are good for sensitive skin & redness
Get your makeup off first with something like miceller water and then start washing your face. Or you can wash your face twice with your cleanser if it’s gentle.
Pore masks, clay masks, volcanic ash, and mud masks are good for blackheads and acne in general.
You can use sensitve skin products even if you aren’t sensitive since they are gentle.
Sunscreen goes after moisturizer.
