Hello, I am a new cell on the block looking for some *big* *girthy* antibiotics for a disease I have. One question first, how many kidneys are you really (and I mean *really*) attached to?

This seemed suspicious. Really suspicious. What would a cell, let alone one claiming to be very ill want to do with him in particular, and kidneys? 

“Uhm… I do not believe I’m in possession of kidneys at the moment. But whomever you find that… isn’t particularly fond of each of them, make sure you’re… adhering to the law.” He says, leaning against the doorframe in feigned composure. 

“As for your disease… I believe I’m not equipped at this moment to assist you. Have you considered seeking professional medical attention?” Drix added, attempting to convey himself in the most casual manner possible. Something told him that this could get really weird, and he didn’t like it one bit, and causing alarm could certainly turn it up to 11 before he could even blink.

“But before you go, for my peace of mind, do tell me why you need something… of that nature. What could a cell like yourself want to do with a kidney?”

(( Headcanon time! Here’s some headcanons that I’ve had in my head for a couple of years now but never bothered to write down lmAO --

Drix is actually a lot lighter than you’d think. A majority of his body is made out of a plasticine material, and considering his chest is mostly hollow. 

Based on his material, Drix’s entire body acts as a static wick in a way. He is only able to stay afloat by constantly balancing the minuscule electrical charges present around him and attached to him. That is, constantly maintaining an electrical charge that is the same as his environment. His “effervescent mechanism” is actually just a way of self-regulating this charge balance etc.

That being said, if he doesn’t ground himself every once and a while he tends to get jittery（´∀`）

He doesn’t have a gender, he’s quite literally a robot, but due to his demeanor, voice, etc, people refer to him as male. He doesn’t have a preference either way.

He’s superglued his fingers together more than he admits.

Does your muse squish bugs or put them outside?

He would prefer to get a cup and toss them outside, despite “bugs” being one of his worst gross-outs. Drix tries to be courteous to the microorganisms that somehow get into his residence, but sometimes his coordination is a little off and he accidentally squishes them… 

Does your muse prefer comedy? Or horror? 

Drix doesn’t really have much of a preference, as long as the media promises an engaging and enjoyable story. He’s rather particular about both genres, but he’ll tolerate them as long as they’re not too simple-minded. 

What is your muse’s least favorite thing about their appearance?

Drix has a long of self-consciousness over his physical size. 

Does your muse hide any aspects of their personality/life from others?

Several, despite Drix trying his best to remain genuine and honest with some of the people around him. He is extremely prone to emotions such as jealousy, envy, and pride. He tries his best to stay in line, but sometimes it takes him a really long time to realize that he’s being unreasonable due to his pride, more than likely after being told otherwise by those that are close to him.

So you want to Roleplay on Tumblr

This is a quick and simple guide to get you started in the RPC of your chosen fandom here on Tumblr. I hope this helps the people who read it! Good luck and have fun! 

Have a About/Biography page for your muse and make it visible to your followers! This will make it much easier for people to read up on who your muse is without having to guess or ask you the simplest questions such as their name or age. If you are a multimuse, have a page for your muses and their biographies!

List out rules in a page as well. This is a page that will let people know how you run your blog, what you are willing and not willing to write, if you’re a multi-paragraph or one-liner writer. If you are mutuals only and selective, this should also be stated in your rules. How you approach shipping should also be listed here as well. Other things like triggers, what you’re okay with being reblogged, etc. should be listed as well.

If you have multiple verses, such as a main verse and any AUs, they should be listed in a verses page with descriptions so that your followers can read which verse they would like to write with you in. 

On the matter of shipping, you should decide if you want to be a single ship or multi-ship blog. A single ship blog means that you will ship with one other muse only. The relationship will be the only one seen and it will most likely be part of all verses and AUs as well. Multi-ship is when there are multiple relationships but each ship is in it’s own separate timeline and never cross over to intersect with each other. There are ups and downs to each route and it’s up to you, the mun, on weighing your options to see which one is best and most comfortable for you.

Don’t be afraid to follow and approach people but MAKE SURE YOU READ THEIR RULES before reaching out for contact!

DO NOT plagiarize other people’s muses! This should be a given but it is wrong! The fun part of writing a muse is creating them and giving them life. Please don’t undermine someone’s hard work and creativity by stealing what’s already been done.  

Reblog Karma: don’t use your fellow roleplay blogs as meme resources. It’s just not polite. There are literally hundreds of blogs out there for that purpose. Even if a blog says they don’t enforce reblog karma, send something to them every now and then. It will make the mun feel awesome and the chances of you getting more memes back will go up considerably!

When it comes to themes, yes, make it look at nice as you want but also try to make it legible. There are people with vision problems who won’t be able to read your size 5 dark gray font on a black background. You can have an aesthetically pleasing blog but still have it be functional.

Remember, this is a hobby. You’re not getting paid to do this. Once it starts feeling like a chore, that’s when you might need to take a step back and take a break or drop some threads or do a small revamp to clear your head. It’s okay to lose muse and have to take a small hiatus. REAL LIFE SHOULD ALWAYS COME BEFORE ROLEPLAYING ALL THE TIME!
