In Silver Flames Cassian thinks Nesta was "a wolf who had never learned how to be a wolf, thanks to that cage humans called propriety and society. And like any maltreated animal, she bit anyone who came near", and I loved seeing Nesta finally getting out of that cage and becoming her true self in this book.

Weren’t the Gwynriels just trying to convince us that the mating bond snapped into place in the bonus chapter of hofas? All because of Azriel’s shadows were excited? Even though the mating bond snaps into place when both people are present. How dare they tell us we are doing too much because of the new song from Taylor Swift? It’s like they are hypocrites. As someone who isn’t even a fan of Taylor swift, I love the song. It totally reminds me of Elriel.

Nonnie, one thing I've learned since joining this fandom is that the G*wynriels love to constantly contradict themselves. And they also loveee to move the goal post whenever it's convenient for them.

I’m not really a Swift fan either, but I read the lyrics, and they are 1000% Elriel coded. like so much so that it’s almost funny to me that people even try to deny it.

this is my official announcement and formal warning that, following the inevitable announcement of Elain Archeron’s book, I will be losing all chill and regressing into a feral, undomesticated, flea-ridden stan gnawing at the bars of my metaphorical enclosure.

No one will be safe. No theory post will go without an excited, and perhaps even incoherent, comment from me. I will be liking all the things. Devouring all the fanart. Screaming and screeching as my heart desires. I will not be tame about this and woe to those who try and stop me.
