i know that danganronpa definitely has its ups and downs concerning character arcs but i think it’s important to note that not everybody should get to have one before their death yknow? i know hiyoko gets used as an example a lot because she was just starting to “get better” before she got murdered and it seemed like she got cut off before any major character development happened. which. to an extent i get it. but it’s also what makes it more tragic

she was just starting to grow. she didn’t get the character development and she didn’t get to show people how much she could potentially change. it’s unfair because death is unfair, and that’s a lot of the point. it puts focus on who she could have been rather than who she was
