Pink full moon in scorpio spread!

Happy pink full moon in scorpio guys!! 💗 Since this moon is supposed to be the most powerful one we experienced this year I thought it could be awesome to do a spread for it. This moon is about stepping outside of our comfort zone and growth on a very deep emotional level. So I thought the spread would be really good if it was on how to be your real self or the best version of yourself ! 

i. Me: This is the card who represent your current self, how you feel and who you think you are or how your definite yourself. 

ii. Who you want to be: This is your goal. This card represent who you want to be in the future.

iii. Your next step: It represent what you need to do in order to be the person you want to be. It can be a big step that will take multiple months or a little step who can take you a day or so. You can draw as many cards as you want if you want to know the multiple things you’ll have to do in order to grow the way you want to.

iv. Advice: You can draw multiple advices who will help you to achieve the steps you need to do. 

I didn’t putted the other ideas I had because I wanted this spread to be really simple and easy to use. But you can also add cards who will tell you your weakness now, how to work on it, your current strenght and why not a card who will reveal to you how your deck see you !!  Don’t hesitate to add cards for a little more fun  💗

Tarot decks are incredibly personal and often reflect part of our personalities, so it is no surprise that I have been on the look out for a deck featuring cats. There are a handful out there that all have a distinct style, but none that overly appealed to me until I discovered the Considerate Cat Tarot.

Not only does the art style appeal to my tastes, but the cats are all based on real cats the artist owns, knows, or has met. She shares the stories of many of the cats featured in the deck - nearly all are adopted or are up for adoption and their stories share a snippet of the struggles they have overcome.

If you are interested in this deck there are 6 days (as of March 28, 2018) left of the Kickstarter campaign. The campaign is already fully backed, so at this point you are just pre-ordering a copy of this lovely, self-published deck.

General Tips:

Use background noise generators to help you feel connected to nature when you’re stuck inside. I suggest Noises Online and MyNoise.

Drink tea. All day. Tea for sleep, tea for energy, tea for e v e r y t h i n g.

Keep on top of your plant care. Make a schedule or chart if it helps.

Open the curtains and windows, get some fresh air. 

Take a bath, add petals and leaves and fruit and whatever else you can find. Submerge yourself so just your face is above the water. Run your hands through your hair. 

Root yourself into the earth, you are one with nature.

Sit in the grass & drink cool lemonade in the summer. Crunch leaves beneath your welly boots in the fall. 

Hold your chin up and push your shoulders back. Walk as if nature itself is presenting you.

I’ve been working more on the DS9 Tarot card idea. I’d like to get through the whole major arcana.

Collection of Star Trek tarot cards from a project I was working on off and on for the past year or two. Even though I bit off more than I could chew (I had all of the cards planned out, with a spreadsheet and everything, but Discovery kind of threw a wrench in my master plan :P), I’m really happy with how some of these turned out, and it ended up being a great learning experience for me.

as someone who reads tarot and is in school for counseling, I absolutely love this, I rarely use tarot as a seeing ahead type thing, but as a means to examine my present state

You said that you're a counselor right? How do you feel that influences your tarot practice?

This is such an interesting question! I love it!! For me tarot is a mix of the magical but also psychological! I see it sort of as a projective measure, you know sort of like those ink blot tests that they always show therapist using in the media. Because of that I don’t think tarot gives us al the answers (this probably a common belief). But I also use tarot, at least for myself, as a means of understanding my own thought process and uncovering what lies behind my initial emotions.

I tend to not read for the future but rather for the present. Instead of “how will the situation work out in the future” my focus is “how am I handling this situation right now” or “how are my actions influencing this situation right now”. The different cards are general and can be applied to different situations. The interesting part to me is where we apply these meanings. For example take A love reading where one pulls the Devil. What does it mean to the querent? Is their lover represented by the Devil? What would that tell you about this person than say a person who sees their desire for love taking control over their life where it overshadows every other aspect such as their goals. For me that’s the nitty gritty of the reading in a psychological sense . How we apply the cards meanings to our life! Are they true to our situation or are they twisted to conform to what we think is going on. Its so interesting for me to sit with my cards and see where my vision of how things are going on and the truth of what’s going on align or differ! I also love seeing how my interpretation of the card in what I know about the situation varies from my querent understanding after I explain my interpretation. It’s so interesting!

honestly, I feel like I could review some tarot decks, but it’d just be like WHY DOES THIS BABY’S FACE LOOK LIKE THAT, YOU’VE RUINED THE SUN

I would love to be one of those people who get decks sent to them for review. Like, that’d be awesome.

But I’m horrible with words and I say fuck way too many times for that to ever be an option. Unless it was for an article called something like “A Fucking Honest Review: ________ Tarot” or something.
