The New Girl (Pt.9)

I woke up at around 3:00 AM. Eddie sat there, looking traumatized.

“(Y/N).” He whispered. “You need to go home.”

“I’m not leaving you.”

“They’re going to find her at my house. You are in the clear.” 

“Like I said, I’m not leaving you.”

“(Y/N). I’m not asking.” He demanded. “Go home. I need you to go home and act like nothing happened. If anyone asked, I went to visit my uncle on his business trip.”

“Eddie.” I whispered.

“(Y/N)!” He started to cry. “Please (Y/N).”

“I’m coming back.” I told him. “I will be back as soon as I can.”

“I know.” He faintly smiled. “Please baby, be careful.”

“I love you so much.” I said before kissing him.

“I love you more.”

I went home and snuck into my room. I was exhausted but I couldn’t close my eyes. I kept seeing the image of Chrissy breaking in front of me. Thank God I got that little nap in back at the abandoned house.

“(Y/N)!” My mom yelled as she walked into my room the next morning.

I guess I dose off because she scared me awake.

“Oh my baby.” She cried as she wrapped her arms around me. “I’m so happy you’re okay.”

“What are you talking about?” I whispered.

I guess they found the body.

“They found your friend Chrissy this morning.” My dad sighed.

“Where!?” I asked pretending to be shocked.

“When was the last time you saw Eddie?” My dad asked.

“I was with him last night. He, um, he left to go see his uncle.”

“Chrissy was found at his house.” My mom said. “We’re just so happy you’re safe.”

“We’re going to have to get increased security around here.” My dad said as he assessed my room.

“What are you talking about?”

“We let that murderer in our house. We let him stay in your room.”

“He’s not a murderer!” I yelled.

“Honey, she was found in his trailer. He’s suspect number one right now.”

“Please get out.” I whispered. “I have to get ready for school.”

“I think you should stay home today.” My dad said.

“I’m the last person he would hurt.” I said confidently. “Plus, he didn’t do this. I know it.”

Though my parents begged me to stay home, I left for school.

“Hey (Y/N).” Jason whispered. “Are you okay?”

“I’m... I'm coping.” I sighed. “How about you?”

“She was one of my best friends.” He cried. 

“I’m sorry Jason.” I said.

I hated him but I felt his pain. I could see that he had been crying all morning.

“Have you seen that freak Munson?” Jason asked. “He’s going to fucking pay.”

“Eddie didn’t do it.” I insisted. “I know for a fact.”

“She was in his trailer. He’s no where to be found.”

“He told me last night that he was going to see his uncle.”

“His uncle is in Florida and Eddie’s van is still in the lot by his house.” Jason explained. “I know you don’t want to believe me but Eddie did this.”

“I appreciate you checking on me Jason. I’ll talk to you later.”

As I walked down the hall, everyone was staring at me. I’m the suspected murderer’s girlfriend. Clearly, they think I know something.

“(Y/N)!” Dustin yelled from his locker. “(Y/N)!”

“What?” I asked. “Where is Eddie?” 

“I don’t know Henderson.”

“We know he’s innocent.”

“What?”

“This is Max.” Dustin introduced. “Come with us.”

“Dustin!” I said as I followed him. “What is going on?”

I followed him outside to two kids about my age, waiting by a car.

“This is Robin and Steve.” Dustin said. “Get in.”

They piled into the car and I just stood there.

“We don’t have much time!” Dustin yelled.

I got into the car with them and they started talking.

“Where are we going (Y/N)?” Steve asked.

“An abandoned house on the lake.” I said.

“Reefer Rick’s.” Dustin said as Steve started down the road.

“We gotta stop this thing.” Steve said.

“What?” I whispered.

“We don’t have El this time.” Dustin argued. “What are we suppose to do?”

“I’ve seen him.” Max said. “I’m your way in.”

“Stop.” I said a little louder.

“We gotta get through the portals.” Steve explained. “Nancy is doing some research now.”

“Stop!” I yelled. “What is going on!?”

“We’ll explain when we get inside.” Max said as we pulled up to the house.

We searched the house and he was no where to be found.

“Let’s try to boat house.” Robin said.

We went into the boat house and Steve took an oar off the wall. He started poking things around the shed. Eddie yelled as he jumped out behind a boat. He pushed Steve against a wall and held a knife to his throat.

“Eddie!” I screamed.

“(Y/N)?” He whispered. “What... what is going on?”

“It’s us.” Dustin said.

“I swear.” Dustin promised.

“This is my friend Max. You know her.”

“We’re on your side.” He confirmed.

Eddie dropped the knife and fell into my arms.

“I’m losing my mind.” He whispered.

“Eddie, we know what happened to Chrissy.” Dustin explained. “There’s this creature, he’s praying on guilty kids.”

“A creature?” Eddie asked as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Like Vecna.” Dustin said. 

“Vecna isn’t real.” Eddie faintly laughed. “He’s from a fucking game.”

“It’s not a game.” Robin said.

“He attacked me too.” Max said.

“Then how are you here? He got Chrissy and destroyed her. Why were you different?”

“We found out how to stop him. Well, we discovered how to save his victims.” Steve explained. “It’s music. Play the victim’s favorite song and they fall out of his trance.”

“So you’re telling me I could have saved Chrissy by playing her fucking favorite song?” Eddie asked disgusted. “It was that fucking easy?”

“We just discovered it this morning after Max got possessed.” Dustin explained. “Please let us explain.”

“This isn’t real.” Eddie laughed. “I’m in a nightmare and I’ll wake up any minute.”

“Eddie.” I whispered as I squeezed his hand. “It’s real. This is all real. We watched Chrissy die. And right now, I think Dustin and his friends are our only way to stop this thing.”

“Fine.” Eddie whispered. “I’m listening.”

“We’ve fought things like this before.” Dustin said.

“I only helped once but they’ve fought like what? 4 times?” Robin added.

“This is the worst we’ve seen but I think we know how to stop him.” Max said.

“Our friend Nancy....” Steve said.

“Nancy Wheeler?” Eddie asked.

“Yes.” Robin stated. “She’s trying to get closer to your trailer to find out more information.”

“Right now, we think our best bet is traveling to the upside down.”

“Are you fucking kidding me?” Eddie asked.

“Say we agreed. How would we get there?”

“In the past, there have been openings. Kind of like portals.” Steve said. “We think we need to travel through the openings at the seen of Chrissy’s murder.”

“I can’t go back to my trailer.” Eddie whispered. “There’s no way they aren’t searching for me right now.”

“Eddie. We need you.” Dustin said. “We swear we won’t let you get caught.”

Eddie grabbed my hand tight and took a deep breath.

“Let’s go!” Dustin cheered.

“We’re gonna save the world!” Dustin yelled.

“I don’t even know.” Max and Robin said. 

“Wait.” I said. “Maybe we should wait until nightfall.”

“You’re probably right.” Dustin sighed. “Eddie, we’ll be back tonight at 1:00 AM. Be ready.”

The gang left and I stayed with Eddie.

The New Girl (Pt.8)

“Hello Mr. Carver.” My dad said as he welcome his boss inside. “This is my wife, (Y/M/N), my daughter (Y/N) and her boyfriend Eddie.” 

“Please call me Jackson.” His boss said. “It’s very nice to meet you all. This is my wife Kathy and our son Jason.”

They all walked in. The parents went to the kitchen, leaving us alone with Jason.

“Boyfriend huh?” Jason asked. 

“What the fuck are you doing here?” I growled.

“You think I knew I was coming here?” Jason said. “But I’m now happy we pulled up to your house, maybe I can shed some light onto your relationship with Eddie.”

“What are you talking about?” I asked.

“I’ve heard around town that you and Eddie had some fun at lover’s lake last week.”

“You must be mistaken.” Eddie said.

“Or maybe I’ll tell them about your favorite hobbies.” Jason smiled. “Drinking, drugs, satanic rituals.”

“Kids!” My mom called. “Dinner!”

I grabbed Eddie’s hand as we walked into the kitchen. Everyone took their seat as my mom brought out dinner.

“Let me help you.” Eddie insisted.

“Thank you honey.” My mom said as she sat down.

“So do you kids know each other?” Jason’s dad asked.

“Actually dad, we do.” Jason said. “(Y/N) joined our group her first day at school.”

“Oh, we haven’t seen you around!” Jason’s mom said.

“That’s because she’s been busy with Eddie.” Jason explained. 

“Eddie is the leader of the school’s DnD club.” My dad said.

“Oh?” Jackson questioned. “What is that?”

“It’s just a fantasy game. It’s a lot of fun.” Eddie explained.

“People at school believe it’s a satanic cult club.” Jason said. “Since apparently all they do is cast spells, get high and play with dragons.”

“Jason!” His mother warned. “Knock it off.”

“I’m just explaining what the club does.” Jason said.

“I think Jason is mistaken Mr. and Mrs. Carver. We play the game on school grounds which prohibits drugs, which I would never bring to the club anyway since there are impressionable freshman. I started the club to bring the outcasted students together and gave them something to bond over.”

I grabbed Eddie’s hand under the table.

“That’s sweet.” Jason’s mom smiled. “Jason, maybe you should join.”

“We have more than enough room.” Eddie smirked.

“Yeah I’m good.” Jason rolled his eyes. 

“Well you’re more than welcome.” Eddie winked.

“You fucking freak.” Jason whispered.

“So the kids were at the drive in last night and Eddie got jumped.” My mom said. “Isn’t that insane!?”

“A jumping in our little town of Hawkins?” Jackson questioned.

“Jason, you were there last night, did you see anything?” Kathy asked.

“Um no.” Jason said as he continued to eat his food.

I could clearly see something was up. I instantly looked down at Jason’s hands. I could see bruises and cuts. In fact, he even had some blood under his nails.

“I didn’t see who did it.” Eddie said. “I just hope they catch the bastard though. Sorry, I mean I hope they catch the guy.”

I sat in my seat fuming. I wanted to stand up and slap the shit out of Jason. But I couldn’t risk my dad’s job. And I had nothing to prove that it was Jason who beat up Eddie. So I just sat and kept my mouth shut.

“Cigar?” My dad asked Mr. Carver after dinner.

“Yes please.” Jackson smiled.

The two men went outside while my mom and Kathy started to clean up.

“You kids go upstairs until dessert is ready.” My mom said.

I led the guys up to my room. Eddie and I took a seat on my bed while Jason stood across the room.

“I know what you did.” I growled.

“What are you talking about (Y/N)?” Eddie asked.

“Jason was the one that beat you up last night.” I whispered.

“I did no such thing.” Jason said. “I was with Jim and Henry last night, they can back me up.”

“Then where did you get those cuts on your hand? Huh? Why is there dry blood under your nails?” I was now stood up and in his face.

“Believe what you want (Y/N).” Jason said as he stepped closer to me. “You have no way to prove your theory.”

He gently rubbed his hand down my cheek.

“Don’t fucking touch me.” I growled.

“It’s okay Princess.” Eddie said as he came up behind me. “Let’s just go sit down.”

“Yeah princess.” Jason smirked as Eddie and I turned towards my bed.

Jason slapped my ass.

“Don’t you ever fucking touch me again.” I warned.

Eddie stepped between us.

“Jason, I will fucking kill you if you ever go near her again.” Eddie scathed. “Fucking test me.”

“Whatever. You two fucking deserve each other. Fucking psychos.” Jason yelled.

“Dessert!” Kathy called.

We went downstairs and our parents could clearly see the tension between the three of us.

“What is going on?” My dad asked.

“Nothing.” I sighed.

Eddie grabbed my hand. 

“Jason?” Jackson asked.

“Yeah, nothing.” Jason said.

“I think we’re all just tired.” Eddie added.

We finished dessert and said our goodbyes. The second they left, I ran upstairs.

“What is going on?” My mom asked.

“Jason has been picking on (Y/N) for a couple days.” Eddie explained. “I think she’s just fed up.”

“Do we need to say something to his parents?” My dad asked.

“Nah. He’s harmless. I’ve also talked to him so he shouldn’t be bothering her anymore.”

My dad shook Eddie’s hand before Eddie came upstairs.

“(Y/N)?” Eddie asked as he opened my door.

“Hey, he’s gone.” Eddie whispered as he stood in front of me.

“He’s not going to stop Eddie.” I cried. “Is he?” 

“He will (Y/N), I promise you.” Eddie said as he kissed my forehead. “Wanna go for a walk?”

“Yeah, I think that’ll help.”

We left my house and walked into the woods. We went back to Eddie’s to smoke a bit. There was a knock on the door and Chrissy walked in.

“Hey guys.” She said. “Eddie, I need a refill.” 

Eddie went back into his room. Chrissy was acting weird. Very distant.

“You okay?” I asked.

She didn’t answer. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head.

“Eddie!” I screamed.

He ran to where we were and Chrissy started to float.

“Eddie.” I screamed again. 

“Get behind me.”

“What is going on?!” 

“I don’t know! Chrissy? Hello!?”

She was thrown into the ceiling and her body started to break. We both fell to the ground in shock.

Chrissy fell to the floor, her body a jumbled mess. Her eyes were missing and she wasn’t breathing.

“Chrissy.” I cried.

“(Y/N), let’s go!” Eddie yelled.

He grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. 

“Come on baby! We gotta go!”

We ran into the woods until I stopped us in our tracks.

“She’s dead.” I panicked. “We just watched her... what just happened?”

“I’m not sure baby. But we gotta run, I’m not letting us be next.”

He held my hand tight and brought me to what seemed to be an abandoned house. 

“We can hide here.” He whispered as he unlocked the back door.

“Eddie.” I whispered as I sobbed. “What the fuck!?”

“I..... I don’t know.” He said as he closed the door.

“We need to call someone.” I said. “We... we just left her there.”

“What were we suppose to do?” Eddie asked. “How do we explain that to the cops?!”

“I don’t know.” I cried. “I need to call my parents.”

“We can’t call anyone (Y/N). What if this thing is following us?”

“I’m so fucking scared Eddie.”

“So am I.” Eddie cried.

We sat on the floor for hours, holding each other tight and crying.

The New Girl (Pt.7)

Eddie opened his truck door and helped me into my seat.

“Lost my keys a while back.” Eddie laughed. “This is how I start my car.”

“Wow, what a man.” I smiled.

“You know what I’m most excited for?” Eddie asked.

“Tell me.”

“Some buttered popcorn.”

“Ooo, me too.” I smiled. “Maybe some cotton candy?”

“Even better.”

We arrived at the drive in and found a good spot.

“Wanna go sit outside for a bit before the movie starts?” 

“Sure.” 

“You know, I’m really happy we are finally doing this.”

“Well, you gotta make this first date amazing boyfriend.” I joked.

“Oh I plan on it.” He winked.

“Eddie?” We heard from behind us.

“How do you keep finding us?” Eddie moaned.

“Sh.” I snapped. “Hey Dustin, what’s up?”

“My mom wanted to come see the movie so here I am.” He smiled. “I was just about to go get some snacks when I saw you guys.”

“Smart idea.” Eddie said. “I’ll come with you. Do you want to come (Y/N)?”

“I’ll wait here.” I smiled. “Maybe sit on the swings until you come back.”

“Alright, stay safe.” Eddie said before he gave me a kiss.

“Let’s go kid.”

I sat on the swing and waited for them to return. I waited and waited. After 20 minutes, they still weren’t back. The movie started and they were no where to be found. I got up and started wondering around the drive in. Out of nowhere, Dustin ran into me.

“It’s Eddie.” Dustin cried. “They’re beating up Eddie. Please hurry.”

I followed Dustin to the woods behind the snack shack.

“Knock it off!” I screamed.

Before I could see who was attacking Eddie, they ran away.

Dustin dropped down to help Eddie.

“I’m good, I’m good.” Eddie said as he wiped the blood from his face.

“This isn’t over freak!” One of the guys yelled.

“What the fuck happened?” I asked as I wrapped my arms around him.

“Careful (Y/N).” Eddie said as he stepped back. “They got some nice shots at my ribs.”

“Shit. Sorry.”

“They just came out of nowhere, was talking some shit.” Eddie coughed. “Started throwing punches.”

“Fuck Eddie.” I whispered.

“At least we’ll always remember our first date.” He laughed.

“I’m sorry I ran.” Dustin whispered.

“Don’t worry about it kid.” Eddie said. “I wouldn’t want you to get hurt.”

Eddie rubbed Dustin’s head and we walked him back to his mom’s car.

“Hi Mrs. Henderson.” Eddie smiled.

I wrapped my arm around Eddie and helped him back to our car.

“I’m driving.” I said.

“Oh no you’re not.” 

“Shut up and get in the passenger seat.”

He climbed into the car and moaned as he positioned himself correctly.

“You’re not gonna know how to turn on the car.”

“Shut up Munson.” I sighed as I hot-wired the car.

“Holy shit.” He whispered.

“There’s a few things you don’t know about me.” I winked.

We drove home in silence.

“(Y/N), you passed my house.” He said.

“You’re sleeping over.” I ordered.

“(Y/N), honey, I’m fine.”

“For the billionth time today, shut up.” I smirked. “You’re sleeping over.”

“Fine. But don’t think you’re in charge now missy.”

We got back to my house and I helped him out of the car. My parents still weren’t home so I took Eddie up to my room.

“Stay here.” I demanded.

I went to the bathroom and got the first aid kit. 

“Shirt off.” I said as I entered my room.

“Alright Ms. Bossy.”

I rolled my eyes as I watched him rip his shirt off.

“Holy shit Eddie.”

“It’s a couple of bruises, I’m fine.”

“This is going to sting.” I said as I poured rubbing alcohol onto his cuts. “Gotta make sure you don’t get any infections.”

“Fuck.” He groaned.

“I’m sorry.” Eddie whispered.

“Why are you sorry?”

“I promised I wouldn’t fight again.”

“Sh.” I said. “I’m just happy you’re okay.”

He just stared at me and the guilt set in.

“Eddie.... did they do this... because of me?” I asked.

“No princess.” He faintly smiled. “I was just in the right place at the wrong time.”

I could feel tears forming in my eyes.

“Come here.” He whispered.

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

“Sh.” Eddie said as he pulled me onto him.

“I love you (Y/N). More than anything in this cruel, sick world.” He smiled as he took a deep breath. 

“I love you too Eddie. I just want you to be safe.”

“I will be.” He promised. 

“It’s getting late.” I said as I stood up. “Let’s get to bed.”

We crawled under my sheets and Eddie pulled me into his arms.

“Eddie.” I whispered. “Are you okay?”

“I have you in my life princess. I’ve never been more okay.”

We fell asleep and stayed cuddled throughout the night. We were woken up to my mom knocking on the door. I opened my eyes and was met with Eddie’s.

“Shit.” I said as I frantically got out of bed. “Mom, I'm so sorry.”

“Come downstairs for breakfast.” She said.

“Fuck.”I moaned.

“I’m sorry (Y/N).” Eddie said as he rubbed his eyes. “I should have left this morning.”

“No, I'm glad you stayed.” I smiled.

We made our way downstairs and sat at the table. My mom and dad were sitting there waiting for us.

“You wanna explain yourself missy?” My mom asked.

Then she looked at Eddie and saw his black eye.

“My god sweetheart, what happened!?” She got up and got him a frozen bag of peas.

“We went on our date last night like we planned.” I explained. “Eddie went to get us snacks from the stand and he got jumped.”

“Did you see who did it?” My dad asked.

“No.” Eddie said. “It happened so fast.”

“Oh honey.” My mom sighed. “I’m glad you’re okay.”

“We came back here and I cleaned him up. It was late and we fell asleep. I swear to you nothing happened.”

“It was my fault.” Eddie said. “I was too weak to walk home.”

“Under the circumstances we will let it slide but don’t let it happen again (Y/N).” My dad said.

“I know dad. I’m sorry. I just didn’t know what to do.”

“Do you need to see a doctor?” My mom asked.

“No ma’am. I’m okay. Just a few bruised rips and a busted eye.” He smiled. “I’ll be okay.”

We ate the eggs my mom made.

“Thank you for letting me crash here.” Eddie said. “And for breakfast.”

“Of course.” My mom said. “We’re just happy you’re not badly hurt.”

“(Y/N) helped me a lot.”

“We always said she’d be a fantastic nurse.” My dad said.

“I definitely agree.” Eddie smiled.

We finished breakfast and I helped my mom clean up.

“(Y/N), what are you doing today?” My dad asked.

“I was planning on stay at Eddie’s for the day. You know, helping him do stuff and heal.”

“Okay, just be home by 5:30. My boss and his family are coming for dinner.” 

“Yes dad.” I smiled.

“Eddie, you are more than welcome to come.” He offered. “Just dress up a little bit.”

“Thank you sir.” Eddie smiled. “See you tonight.”

We made our way back to Eddie’s and I took out a fresh bag of ice from his freezer.

“Fuck that’s cold!”

“Stop being a baby.” I laughed. “This will help your ribs.”

“The second I can move normally, I'm going to punish you.” He said as I pushed the ice down on his chest.

“Yeah, yeah.” I smirked. “We’ll see.”

“Fuck.” He sighed. “Wanna pick out my outfit for tonight?”

“I’ll go see what I can find.” I smiled.

He followed me into his room and laid on the bed.

“Eddie, do you own anything besides jeans, t-shirts and leather?”

“I should have a dress somewhere in there.”

I pulled out a nice pair of black jeans and a blue button down shirt.

“This is perfect.” I smiled.

“Come here.” He said as he pulled my hand.

“Thank you.” He whispered. “I love you so much.”

“I love you too baby.”

We spent the rest of the day cuddling and relaxing. At about 4:30 Eddie got up to shower. I cleaned his room and organized his clothes.

“(Y/N), what did you do?”

“I cleaned up.” I smiled. “It was a wreck in here.”

“It looks amazing. Wow, you really are perfect.”

“Anything for you baby.” 

He got dressed and we headed back to my place. He chilled in my room as I showered and did my hair. 

“Hello beautiful.” He cooed as I walked back into my room.

“Shhh.” I blushed. “Gotta let me get ready. Company will be here in 20 minutes.”

“Well, before we go down. I have something for you.” He took his pick necklace off from around his neck.

He put it around my neck and stared at me.

“My perfect princess.” He whispered.

“I love you.” I smiled as I gave him a quick kiss.

I got dressed and we ran down the stairs once we heard the doorbell ring. I never expected to see him standing there.

The New Girl (Pt.6)

I gave Eddie a kiss before I left to go back home. When I walked in, my parents were not happy.

“Where have you been?” My mom asked.

“I told you I was sleeping at Chrissy’s. You said it was okay.”

“You told us you would call once you got back to her place. We were up all night worried that something happened to you!” My mom yelled. “We couldn’t even call Chrissy’s house because you never left her number.”

“I’m sorry.” I sighed. “We just got home late and were super tired. We passed out instantly.”

“You should have called us.” My dad said. “You’re grounded.”

“Seriously!?” I yelled. “Come on! I didn’t mean to.”

“Hopefully you will call us next time.” My mom said.

I rolled my eyes and went up to my room. I lost my phone privileges and couldn’t leave the house for the day.

The next morning I got dressed for school. As I was about to leave my room, Eddie’s jacket caught my eye. I grabbed it and put it on.

“Do you want breakfast honey?” My mom asked.

“No thanks.” I said. “I gotta go to school.”

“Be home right after.” My dad said. “You’re still grounded.”

“Got it.” I said as I slammed the door.

I walked into school and saw Eddie standing at my locker.

"Is Ms. (Y/L/N) wearing my leather jacket?” Eddie smirked.

“Shut up.” I laughed. “Also, sorry I didn’t call last night. I’m grounded.”

“Why?” Eddie asked.

“I forgot to call my parents when I made it back to “Chrissy’s” on Saturday night.”

“Oh shit.” Eddie said. “How long are you grounded for?”

“I’m free Saturday.” I smiled.

“Perfect. Saturday it is.”

“What?”

“I’m taking you on an official date. How does the drive in sound?”

“It’s a date.”

“What the fuck did I just hear?” Jason asked as he walked up to us.

“We have a date on Saturday.” Eddie said cockily.

“I told you to stay away from her.” Jason growled.

“If you’re mad, talk to me.” I said.

“What are you doing (Y/N)? Already trying to ruin your reputation?”

“I’m with Eddie, Jason. You’re gonna have to get use to it.”

“Fuck that.” Jason growled. “You’ll come running back.”

“In your dreams.” Eddie smirked.

“Let’s go!” Jason yelled.

He got up in Eddie’s face and started screaming.

“You’re a fucking freak!” Jason yelled even louder. “You are nothing! She’ll realize soon enough that you are a fucking waste of space on this Earth and that you would be better off dead. Your own parents didn’t even fucking want you.”

“That’s enough Jason!” I screamed. “You’re a fucking dick.”

Jason stormed away and I grabbed Eddie’s hand.

“You know that’ll never be true.” I whispered. “You are the most important person to me.”

“I’m used to it.” Eddie smiled. “It doesn’t effect me as much.”

“You know he’s wrong, right?”

“Yeah.” He whispered.

“I love you Eddie. You are worth more than anything Jason has to fucking offer.”

“I love you too.” Eddie smirked as he pulled me closer..

“Come on. Walk me to class.”

During lunch I sat with Eddie and his friends.

“You’re good with them.” I whispered as Eddie came and sat back next to me.

“I love them.” He chuckled. “Meet me at my locker after school?”

“Yes sir.” I smiled.

After school I ran up to Eddie’s locker.

“Hi handsome.” 

“Hello princess.” He smiled. “I know you’re grounded and can’t hangout, but do you think I could walk you home?”

“I’d love that.”

As we walked home he grabbed my hand.

“(Y/N).” Eddie whispered.

“Yes?” I asked as I turned towards him.

“Would you... would you be my girlfriend?” He stuttered.

“I would love nothing more.” I beamed as I kissed him.

“Fuck. I was so nervous princess.” He sighed.

“Did you think I would say no?”

“I don’t know. After what Jason said today I thought maybe you’d second guess wanting to be with me.”

“Jason is stupid. I love you Eddie, so much.”

“I love you too baby.”

He walked me to my door and kissed me goodbye. He walked me home everyday until we could finally hangout again. Saturday evening he came and knocked on my front door.

“Hi princess. Hope you’re ready for our night.” He smiled.

“I am.” 

“Wow, you look beautiful.” He blushed. “I, um, I also picked these for you.”

He handed me a bouquet of flowers. It was a little messy but the thought was amazing none the less.

“Thank you handsome.” I smiled. “Come in while I put these in some water.”

I rummaged through the kitchen to find a vase.

“Where are your parents?”

“They went for dinner in town.”

“Sweet.” Eddie said. “Sweet.”

I placed the flowers in the vase and turned towards Eddie.

“You ready?” I asked.

“You have no idea darling.”

The next day I was forced to help my parents finish unpacking. I took a quick break and walked outside.

“Boo!” 

I screamed as I wasn’t expecting anyone to come up behind me.

“Hi princess.” Eddie smiled.

“That was not funny!” I yelled as I cracked a smirk. “Not nice.”

“I just wanted to come by and see if you wanted to hangout today.”

“I would love to but I have to help my parents unpack. Fun day right?”

“Let me help.” “Oh no Eddie. I cannot allow you to hangout with me and my parents all day.”

“It’ll be my honor.”

“Eddie.” I sighed. “Really, it’s okay.”

“I get it.” Eddie sighed. “Don’t want me to meet your parents?”

“No! That’s not it at all. It’s just my parents...”

“Bringing home a curly headed freak wouldn’t go over well with them, would it?”

“Eddie.”

“Don’t worry. I totally understand.”

“No Eddie. I just.... I’m just nervous. I’ve never brought someone home before. I honestly don’t know how they’d react.”

“Really?” He seemed shocked.

“Yes really.”

“Well then we’ll wait.” He smiled. “No need to be anxious.”

“No.” I stated. “I want them to meet you.”

“It’s okay princess.”

“No. I already told you I’m not ashamed to be with you Eddie. Would you please come help my parents and I unpack?”

“Are you sure?” 

“100%.”

I led him to my house and took a deep breath.

“(Y/N), I need your help in the kitchen when you have a chance.” My mom said from the table. “Oh, hello.”

“And who is this?” My dad asked as he looked up from setting up the VCR.

“Mom, dad, this is Eddie.... my... um... my... friend?” Is he my friend? Is he more?

“Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. (Y/L/N).”

Eddie walked over to my dad and shook his hand. 

“So, how did you guys meet?” My dad asked.

“We go to school together sir.” Eddie said.

“Do you want something to eat or drink?” My mom asked. “We don’t have much but I could whip something up.”

“Oh no thank you ma’am. I’m just here to help unpack.”

“Well that’s so sweet!” My mom cooed.

“This god damn VCR!” My dad yelled. “I can’t figure it out.”

“Mind if I give it a go?” Eddie asked.

“Be my guest.” My dad said as he backed up.

Eddie crouched down and started hooking up the VCR. My mom pulled me to the side to talk.

“Honey. He is cute!” She whispered. “Are you together?”

“I don’t know. He likes me and I like him but it’s only been a week.” 

“Well, I wouldn’t mind if we saw him around more.” My mom smiled as she walked away.

“I think I got it sir.” Eddie said as he stood up from behind the TV.

He turned on the TV and my dad’s favorite show popped up.

“Well I’ll be damned, thank you kid.” He smiled.

We spent the rest of the day unpacking and it was honestly so fun. Eddie was such a big help and I just fell for him more as he helped my mom organize the dishes and helped my dad move some furniture.

“Eddie, would you like to join us for dinner?” My mom asked.

“Oh no. I couldn’t impose.” 

“Nonsense. We owe you a nice dinner.” My dad said.

My dad started to grill some chicken while my mom steamed some vegetables.

“We’re gonna go up to my room.” I said.

“Keep the door open please.” My dad and mom called.

“Your parents are awesome.” Eddie said.

“They really seem to like you.” I smiled.

“Oh yeah?” He asked.

“Very much so.” 

“I’m glad I could help today.” He said as he sat in my desk chair. “I had fun.”

“So did I.”

I watched him from across the room and I needed to be close to him. I walked towards him and stood in between his legs. He wrapped his arms around my back and pulled me on top of him.

I sat on his lap and looked down at him.

“Hello beautiful.” He smiled.

“Hi.” I blushed.

He gently rubbed his fingers up and down the back on my thighs. The touch of his rings sent shivers down my spine.

“Eddie.” I whispered. “Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For being sweet and kind. For helping my parents today. For everything.”

“I will always be here for you.” He whispered.  “For anything you need.”

Our kiss became more passionate as my body grew warmer.

“I need you.” I whispered.

He picked me up and threw the both of us on my bed.

I started pulling at his pants when he put his hand on mine.

“Not now.” He growled. “Soon princess, but not now.”

“You really are a tease Munson.” I laughed.

“Dinner!” My mom called up the stairs.

We fixed ourselves and headed down. We took a seat at the table as my mom served us before taking her own seat.

“So, what do you two have planned tonight?” My mom asked.

“We’re going to a party tonight with Chrissy.”

Eddie looked at me confused.

“Where is this party?” My dad asked.

“One of Chrissy’s friend’s.” I said as I took another bite.

“What time will you be home?” My mom asked.

“If it’s okay, Chrissy said I can sleep over.”

“That’s fine.” My dad said. “Just call us when you get back to her place.”

“Got it.” I smiled.

“So Eddie. Do you play basketball?” My mom asked.

“No ma’am. I am the leader of the school’s DnD club.”

“Hey, I used to play that when I was younger.” My dad said. “Fun stuff.”

We finished dinner and I went upstairs to pack for my night at Chrissy’s.

“We’re going to a party?” Eddie asked.

“Nope.” I smiled as I threw some pajamas into my bag.

“So, why did you tell them we were?”

“Because you and I are going to spend the night together.”

“Oh are we?” Eddie smirked.

“If that’s okay with you.”

“That’s more than okay sweetheart.” He smiled. “And what about Chrissy’s?”

“Well, that’s up to you.” I said. “Either I can go to Chrissy’s and sleep over or.... I can spend the night at your place.”

“I would love nothing more than that.” He said. 

“Well then, let’s go have a night.” I smiled.

We left my house and went back to Eddie’s.

“Welcome home darling.” He smiled as he opened the door for me.

“Thank you handsome.”

I dropped my bag off in Eddie’s room then met him back out front.

“I have a plan.” Eddie said. “Follow me.”

He grabbed my hand and I followed him through the woods to the lake.

“Let’s watch the stars.” He said.

He was so much more than he appeared. He was sweet and loving. 

We laid down in the grass and watched the sky. Then, Eddie turned towards me.

“You are so beautiful.” Eddie whispered as he stroked my cheek. “So fucking pretty.”

“I am really caught up on you (Y/N). I’ve never felt like this before.”

“Me neither.” I whispered. 

He pulled me into a gentle kiss. I could tell he was holding back. He didn’t want to push anything though the tent in his pants said otherwise. 

“Come on.” I said as I stood up.

“Where are we going?” He was confused.

I started undressing. 

“(Y/N).... what.... what are you doing?”

My breasts were on display and I could see the amazement in his eyes.

“Are you coming?” I asked as I pulled my shorts over my ass.

I ran towards the lake and jumped in. 

“Come on big boy.” I smiled.

He frantically started pulling off his clothes and followed me into the lake.

“(Y/N).” He whispered as he pulled me close to him. “You are dangerous.”

I wrapped my body around him as I crashed my lips into his. He grabbed onto me aggressively which made me shiver. 

“My God.” He whispered breathlessly as we pulled apart. 

I wrapped my legs around his waist and felt him. He positioned himself correctly which make me moan.

“You’re so pretty for me.” He growled in my ear. “My dirty little princess.”

We stayed like that for a while, following the flow of the water. 

“Fuck.” I moaned. “Eddie.”

“I’m gonna....” Eddie whispered as he held onto me tighter. “Fuck!”

We both held onto each other trying to catch our breaths. 

“That was...” Eddie smiled.

“Amazing.” I said as I kissed him.

Eddie’s lips turned blue and I could feel him shaking. We were so caught up in the moment we didn’t realize how cold the water actually was with the wind blowing.

“Let’s go warm up.” He smiled as he grabbed my hand.

We put our clothes on quickly and ran back to his house hand in hand.

“Shit it’s cold!” He said as he walked into his house. 

He disappeared into his room and came back with a t-shirt and boxers. I ripped off my wet clothes and changed into his clothes.

“Thank you.” I blushed.

“Of course princess.” He smiled. “You look so sexy in my shirt.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

“I like you (Y/N).” Eddie said as we pulled away. “I like like like like you.”

“I like like like you too.” 

He put on the TV and led me to the couch. He pulled me on top of him.

“I’m so tired.” I yawned.

“Close your eyes.” He gently demanded. “Rest.”

As I felt myself drift to sleep, I could’t help but say what I really wanted to say.

“I love you Eddie.” I sighed.

“I love you too (Y/N).” He said as he kissed my head.

The next morning I woke up in Eddie’s bed, he was no where to be found.

“Eddie?” I asked as I walked out his room.

“Good morning princess.” He smiled. “Breakfast?”

Pancakes were sitting on the table waiting to be eaten.

“You’re so sweet.” I gave him a kiss.

Eddie took the seat across from me and looked concerned.

“Do you.... um, do you remember what you said before you fell asleep last night?”

“About how I was tired?”

“No not that.” He said. “Never mind.”

“Eddie.” I smirked. “I love you.”

“I love you too princess.” He smiled.

The New Girl (Pt.4)

The next morning I told Chrissy everything. 

“And.... you kissed him?” She giggled.

“I did. And it was amazing.” I sighed. 

“OMG! How cute!?” 

We got up and got ready to go to school. As we walked in, I was met with something I wasn’t expecting.

Eddie and Jason were arguing.

“She doesn’t like you.” Eddie snickered. “Never has, never will.”

“What did you do freak? Cast a spell on her?” 

“That’s the funny thing Jason, she fell for me all on her own.” He laughed. “And she’s ditched you both nights to be with me.”

Jason threw a punch. Everything happened so quickly.

“Whoa!” I yelled as I ran up to them. “Knock it off!”

Of course, they didn’t listen to me. Not until I stepped in between them.

“Stop!” I screamed.

“Back up (Y/N).” Jason warned.

“Don’t talk to her like that.” Eddie scathed.

“What are you going to do about it Munson?”

“Stop!” I screamed again. “You wanna fight, fine, but don’t make this about me.”

They both stood there and just stared at me. Eddie’s cheek was bleeding and dripping down to his neck. I’d be lying if I said the way it highlighted his veins didn’t turn me on. I took out a tissue and patted his cheek.

“You both are idiots.” I said.

“I’m sorry.” He whispered.

“Just... go clean up.” I sighed.

He left and went to the bathroom. Jason came up to me and grabbed my arm. 

“(Y/N), don’t be stupid.” He said. “You can’t get caught in his trap.”

“Jason. Stop it. I’m done with this shit.” I said angrily. “It’s been what? 3 fucking days? I’m just here to graduate.”

I walked away and went to my locker. I kept to myself the next two days. I steered clear of Eddie and Jason. Though, more than anything, I just wanted to hug Eddie again. I wanted to breath in his scent which was a mix of beer, weed and hair spray. 

Friday night came and I was sat at home in bed. I haven’t talked to Eddie since the incident and we never officiated the plans for our date. But I didn’t want to cancel again, I didn’t want to hurt him. So, I knew what I had to do.

“(Y/N)?” Eddie smiled as he opened the door. “What... what are you doing here?”

“We have plans tonight, do we not?”

“I just thought... since we haven’t talked...”

“That I was gonna ditch you?” I interrupted. “Not this time.”

“Come on in.” He opened the door and helped me up the steps. “You really came.”

“Yeah.” I chuckled. “I did.”

“I’m sorry about the other day.” Eddie said. “I don’t know if this will fix anything but I want to let you know I didn’t throw the first punch.”

“Yeah, I’m not shocked.” I laughed. “You don’t seem the type.”

He just stared at me.

“What?” I asked.

“I just... I’m just glad you’re here.”

“Me too.” I blushed. “Wanna order some pizza and find a movie to watch?”

“Yes ma’am.”

We sat and waited for the pizza before we started the movie.

“So um, you came.”

“I did.” I laughed. “I’m really here.”

“Can I tell you something?” Eddie asked.

“Hit me.”

“I...um... I haven’t stopped thinking about our kiss from the other night.”

“Me neither.” I whispered. “It was....”

“Magical.”

“It was.” I smiled.

“Seems like my spell has worked.” Eddie smirked.

“Hardy har-har Mr. Muson.” 

“Seriously though, I like you (Y/N). Like a lot.”

“I like you too Eddie.” I blushed.

“Really?”

“Really.” 

“So... what about Jason?”

“What about him?”

“Are you going to tell him you picked Eddie the Banished over him?”

“I guess we’ll see.” I laughed.

“You don’t have to (Y/N). I’m just messing with you.”

“I’m not ashamed of you Eddie. I don’t care if Jason knows or not. But you need to promise me, no more fighting.”

“Deal princess.”

There was a knock on the door and Eddie insisted on paying for the pizza.

“Thank you Eddie.”

“I got you.” He smiled.

Eddie started the movie Halloween as we ate our pizza.

“This is so good.” I moaned.

“Mm.” Eddie smirked.

“Get your mind out of the gutter Munson.”

He chuckled as he put down his plate.

“Come here.” He said.

He almost demanded I come to him. Not going to lie, that did something to me. Something good. I followed his instruction and he wrapped his arm around me.

We cuddled like that for what seemed like forever. But forever wasn’t long enough. 

“Look at me.” Eddie said.

I looked up quickly, met his eyes, smiled and turned back to the movie. That didn’t suffice. He gently grabbed my chin and turned my face towards him again. 

“More.” I whispered as he pulled away.

He grabbed me more aggressively and crashed our lips together.

We kissed and kissed but I wanted more. I wanted him to throw me onto his bed and do the dirtiest things to my body. But we were quickly interrupted. 

“Eddie!” Someone yelled as they banged on the door. “Eddie!”

“Fuck.” Eddie moaned.

He threw open the door.

“What!?” He almost yelled.

“Henderson?” Eddie asked.

“Hiya.” The boy smiled as he pushed past Eddie.

He was taken back seeing another person in the room.

“Hi! I’m Dustin!”

He was the cutest thing on this planet. This boy’s smile was literally contagious.

“Hi Dustin.” I smiled. “I’m (Y/N).”

“You’re (Y/N)!” He yelled. “Of course! Oh my God, you showed up!”

“What do you want Henderson!?” Eddie yelled before I could answer.

“I just thought you were going to be alone tonight so I though we could work on our campaign.” Dustin explained.

“But clearly I was wrong.” He smirked. “I guess I should go.” 

“Yeah, I think you should.” Eddie hinted.

“Oh wait.” Dustin got distracted. “Is that pizza?” 

He walked over and took a slice.

“You got any soda?” Dustin asked.

“If I give you a drink will you leave?”

“Depends... what are we watching?”

“Goodbye Henderson!” Eddie said as he started pushing him towards the door. “Thanks for stopping by.”

“What about my drink!?” Dustin asked before Eddie closed the door in this face.

“So.” Eddie blushed.

“He came all the way here to check on you.” I joked. “The least you could do is give the kid a drink.”

Eddie rolled his eyes. He went to the fridge and pulled out a Coke. He walked to the door, opened it and threw the drink to Dustin. Clearly, he didn’t catch it.

“You could have given me a warning Eddie! It’s all over my pants now!” Dustin yelled before Eddie closed the door.

“So that was Henderson.” Eddie smirked. “Great kid. Clearly oblivious to surrounding situations.”

“He’s a cutie.” I said.

“Damn, gotta worry about Jason and Henderson?”

I rolled my eyes as he came and sat down next to me.

“So.” He smiled.

“So you told your little friends about me?”

“I mean, kind of.” He blushed.

“You’re cute, you know that Munson?”

“I’m glad you think so sweetheart.”

“Do you wanna.... pick up where we left off?”

“(Y/N), you have no idea how badly I want to take you into my room and throw you onto my bed.”

“But?”

“But... I really do like you. I don’t want to rush anything.”

I couldn’t help but blush.

“You really aren’t as dominant as you look.” I chuckled.

���You want me to be dominant?” He asked. 

His mood totally changed. He went from sweet and caring to completely feral.

“I want to see all sides of you Eddie.”

He picked me up and laid me on my back. He crashed his lips into mine. Things got hot quick. He moved his lips to my neck and started biting.

“Fuck Eddie.” I whispered.

Then, all at once, it was over. He got up and took his seat on the couch again. I sat up and looked at him.

“Oh, you’re mean.” I growled.

“Not mean princess. Just in charge.” He winked.

I lightly hit his arm as I tried to collect myself and calm my breathing.

“Sorry love.” He laughed. “Gotta assert my dominance, ya know?”

We resumed the movie and cuddled before I realized what time it was.

“Shit!”I panicked. “When did it hit midnight? My parents are going to kill me.”

“I’ll walk you home.” He said.

As we walked, I could feel myself shiver. Clearly, Eddie could see it. He took off his vest and leather jacket before putting the jacket over my arms.

“Take this.” He smiled.

“Are you sure?” I asked. “We’re almost at my place. I’ll be okay.” 

“Hush.” He said as we continued walking.

We got to the end of the woods by my house. 

“I had a lot of fun tonight Eddie. Thank you.” I said as I started to take off his jacket.

“Keep it.” He said as he pulled the jacket over my shoulders again. “It suites you.”

I quickly gave him a kiss before running towards my house.

God. I don’t think I’ve ever felt like this before.

The New Girl (Pt.3)

“You saw me with Chrissy so you cancelled our date?” Eddie asked. “Do you know how fucking crazy that sounds?”

“Don’t treat me like I’m insane Eddie. I know what I saw.”

“I’m not denying that you saw Chrissy and I. I just don’t know how that adds up to you going and ending up with Jason?”

“So you were with Chrissy?”

“For Christ sakes! I was with Chrissy last night, yes!”

“Why?” I sighed. “Why were you with Chrissy after I left?”

“Why does it matter!?” He almost yelled.

“Because you asked me out! You acted like you liked me.” I argued back. “Was this some sick game?”

“No.” Eddie whispered. “It was never a game.”

“Then why were you with Chrissy?”

“I....we.... I can’t.”

“Got it.”

“(Y/N) listen to me. There is nothing going on between Chrissy and I. I swear to God.” 

“Then tell me what is going on. Prove to me that I’m being crazy!”

“I can’t (Y/N).”

“Thought so.” I sighed. “Nice talking to you Eddie.” 

I walked away and found an empty classroom to sob in. How could I fall for someone so quickly? It’s been less than 48 hours and I’m already hurt. Plus, Chrissy hates me. What did I get myself into?

The final bell rang and I was at my locker packing my backpack. I looked down the hallway to see Chrissy coming my way. She approached my locker and I broke down.

“I’m so sorry Chrissy.” I almost cried.

“Me too.” She smiled. “I really like hanging out with you (Y/N) and even though it’s been a day I feel like we’ve been friends a lifetime. I have a lot going on that is hard to explain.”

“I like hanging out with you too. Maybe we can do a sleepover and you can explain everything to me?”

“You’re on.” She confirmed.

Later that night, Chrissy came over with a bag packed full of snacks and movies. 

“So about today.” I whispered. “Um, I just need to know. What is going on with you and Eddie?”

“Absolutely nothing is going on (Y/N). I promise you.”

I wanted to ask more. I needed to ask more. But I stayed quiet. I stopped myself from ruining things again. But I think Chrissy saw me struggling.

“(Y/N).” Chrissy whispered.

My heart sunk into my ass.

“Yeah?” I answered.

“I was buying drugs from Eddie.” She confessed. “We aren’t hooking up, we aren’t dating. There is absolutely nothing between Eddie and I.”

I sat there confused for a bit.

“Why didn’t you just tell me today?” I asked.

“I have an image to uphold. Plus, if anyone found out I’d be kicked off the squad.” She explained. “My anxiety has been really bad and I heard that weed can help it. And who better to ask than the town drug dealer.”

“But.. I saw you two. It seemed like you guys were flirting, he was beaming with every word.”

“He couldn’t stop talking about you (Y/N). All he talked about was how great you were and how excited he was to go on a date with you.”

“Really?” I whispered.

“He likes you a lot (Y/N). Like a lot a lot.”

FUCK. I fucked up.

“I yelled at him. I told him that Jason was right. That he was a freak.” I started to panic. “I thought he was two timing me. I.... I messed up.”

“Breath.” Chrissy said. “You can talk to him tomorrow.”

“I can’t wait until tomorrow. I need to talk to him now. Please tell me you know where he lives.”

“I’ve bought drugs at his place a couple of times.” She chuckled. “Go, I’ll cover for you.”

I gave her a big hug and snuck out my window. I ran into the woods towards the trailer park where Chrissy said Eddie lived. When I arrived I panicked not knowing which house was his. I heard heavy metal music blasting from a house on the far left. I think I have a 99% chance of knocking on the right door.

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

“What are you doing here?” Eddie asked.

“We should talk.” 

He welcomed me into his house. All I wanted to do was rip off his clothes, pull his hair and show him how sorry I really was. But, I couldn’t do that. Not after the shit I pulled today.

“Eddie. I am so sorry.”

“About what (Y/N)? Accusing me of playing sick games? Calling me a freak?” 

“All of it.” I whispered. “I was so wrong.”

“When I saw you with Chrissy, I thought the worst. I thought you were playing me, that it was some sick trick to fuck with the cool kids.”

“I can’t believe you think I would do that.”

“Eddie, I don’t even know what to think right now. Everything is crazy. I don’t know anything about anything. Except I do know one thing. I was completely and utterly wrong. I fucked up and I know there is nothing I could do to make it up to you.”

“Eddie, I really really like you and I got scared of being hurt again. I’ve been cheated on before and played with. I didn’t want to do it again. I’m sorry I made assumptions and I’m sorry I was a fucking bitch.”

I tried to catch my breath but I kept rambling.

“And you’re an amazing friend to Chrissy. You could have ratted her out to convince me you weren’t together. But you knew how important it was for her secret to be kept. I am so sorry about my actions and I will do anything to prove how sorry I am.”

“Anything?” He smirked from under his fingers.

“Anything.” I stated confidently.

“Beg.” He demanded.

“Wh....what?” That’s not what I was expecting.

“Beg for forgiveness.” 

I got down on my knees in front of him, begging for forgiveness.

“Oh Eddie the Great, please forgive me. I apologize greatly about my actions. You are high and mighty and deserve only the best. Please forgive me and let me make it up to you.”

“Stand up princess.” He said as he helped you off the floor. “I forgive you.”

I couldn’t control myself and jumped into his arms.

“I’m so so sorry Eddie.” I cried.

“(Y/N). It’s okay.” He chuckled.

He helped me stand on my own two feet before wiping a tear off my cheek. 

“Things happen. You made a mistake. And so did I. I should have told you about why I go to that spot in the woods. I go there to sell.” He sighed. “I didn’t want you to know.”

“I don’t give a shit Eddie. Fuck, I’d smoke with you if I knew.”

“Oh yeah?” He seemed surprise. “Down to smoke?”

“After the day I’ve had, I definitely need it.”

He lit a joint and we sat and smoked.

“So, you live here alone?”

“Kind of.” He explained. “I live here with my uncle but he works a lot. Right now he’s on a business trip. Honestly, he’s not around much.”

“What about your parents?” I asked before catching myself. “Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to impose.”

“Don’t worry princess.” He smirked. “They ran out when I turned 15. Said I was old enough to fend for myself.”

“I’m sorry Eddie.” I sighed. 

“Don’t be.” Eddie laughed. “It’s given me character.”

We sat and talked a little longer before I realized the time.

“Fuck!” I panicked. “I have to go before my parents find out I left.”

“This time I’m walking you home.” Eddie demanded.

“Fine.” I smirked. “Only because I owe you.”

We left his house and trekked through the woods.

“I really would like to take you out on a date sometime soon.” Eddie said. “Would you, maybe, wanna go on a date with me?”

“I will 100% go on a date with you Eddie Munson. Friday night, your place? Pizza and a movie?”

“You got it sweetheart.” He smiled.

We stood at the opening of the woods where the trees meet the street.

“I’m really glad we figured this all out.” I sighed.

“You have no idea.” Eddie laughed.

“Eddie?”

“Yeah?”

“I can’t wait for our date.” I whispered as we separated.

“Me neither.” Eddie smiled.

As went were about to go in for a second kiss, a car sped down the street.

“What the fuck?” We both asked confused.

The car pulled up next to us and Eddie stepped in front of me. The driver side door flew open and Jason stepped out.

“So you ditched me tonight for this freak?” Jason growled.

“What do you mean I ditched you?” 

“We had plans to go for a drive tonight. I came to pick you up and Chrissy said you ran to the store. I thought I’d come back and check on you but it seems you’re doing perfectly fine.”

“Yeah, she is.” Eddie said. “We had a great night.”

“What did you say freak?”

“(Y/N) and I had a great night.” Eddie repeated.

Jason looked at me and could see I wasn’t myself.

“What did you do to her?” Jason growled.

“What the fuck are you talking about Jason?” I asked.

“You’re high.” Jason stated. “I can see it in your eyes. Did you drug her?”

“Are you dumb?” Eddie asked.

I could feel the tension boiling and knew I had to disperse it.

“Listen Jason. I totally forgot about our plans tonight. Chrissy wanted to do a sleepover and I agreed. We were having fun doing our girl stuff and my dog got out. I ran to chase him and ran into Eddie. We hung out and he offered to walk me home.” 

Jason looked suspicious while Eddie gave me a weird look.

“There is no need to fight or anything. It’s late. I’m home safe. Please just let me go to bed. Please.”

They both sighed and stepped back from each other.

“I’m just glad you’re home safe (Y/N).” Jason said. “I’ll walk you to the door.”

I looked at Eddie and nodded my head.

“Thank you for getting me home safely Eddie. I appreciate it.” I smiled. “I owe you one.”

“Anytime sweetheart.” He retreated back into the woods as Jason walked me to the door.

“You need to steer clear of Eddie Munson (Y/N). You are too smart and beautiful to be hanging out with the likes of him.”

“He’s a good guy Jason.” I sighed. “You need to give him a chance.”

“Yeah, that’ll be a cold day in hell.” 

“Thank you Jason.” I faintly smiled as we approached the door. “Have a good night.”

I closed the door and ran upstairs to find Chrissy sleeping in my bed. I changed into my pajamas and passed out right next to her.

The New Girl (Pt.2)

I ran home and got ready for my busy night ahead. As I was putting on my makeup, I didn’t know who I was dressing up for. The basketball game, or my date with Eddie. Date.... is it a date?

“Hi honey!” Chrissy yelled from the court.

She was so sweet. I looked onto the court and saw Jason. He smiled up at me. The game went quickly and of course, we won. That Lucas Sinclair boy has some skills. I met up with Chrissy, Jason and the other guys after the game.

“You guys did amazing!” I smiled.

“Thank you!” Chrissy said as she hugged me.

“Hey (Y/N), can I talk to you quickly?” Jason asked.

I followed him to a spot away from the group. He seemed really nervous. 

“I was just wondering.” He stuttered. “I know we were all going to the party as a group but do you maybe wanna be my date?”

“Oh Jason. I’m flattered, really. But I can’t go to the party tonight.”

He seemed really disappointed. I felt terrible.

“My family wants to do a dinner together to talk about my first day of school.” I lied.

“I totally understand.” He smiled. “We’ll miss you. Maybe next time.”

I said goodbye to the crew and ran towards the woods.

“Eddie?” I called.

“You showed.” He smiled.

“Of course I did.” I laughed. “Did you think I was going to stand you up?”

“The cool kids have played crueler jokes.”

“I would never.” I explained. 

“What the hell!?” I couldn’t stop laughing.

“You really have hit my heart.” He smiled.

He came back and sat down.

“I even turned down a date with Jason to come see you.”

“Wait? What? You had a date with Jason?”

“No!” I panicked. “After the game he asked me to go to the party with him as his date. I told him my parents wanted to do dinner so I couldn’t.”

“Couldn’t tell him you were with Eddie the Banished huh?”

“No. That’s not it at all! He just looked so hurt and I didn’t want to tell him I was leaving him for another man.”

“So I’m the other man?”

“No. Jesus Christ.” I put my face in my hands. “Let’s just move on.”

“No no no.” Eddie insisted. “Do you like Jason?”

“I don’t even really know him.”

“So there’s a chance you might?”

“Eddie, it’s been less than 24 hours. I don’t even know which way is left right now.” 

His face looked glum.

“Is Eddie the Banished jealous?” I asked trying to lighten the mood.

“Not at all.” I don’t know why but that hurt. “Just want to make sure you’re careful.”

“Thanks bud but I can handle myself.”

“Got it.” Eddie said. “Anyway, guess I should show you around. The town is a little weird to be honest.”

“Weirder than you?”

“Oh so funny.” He laughed. “You’ll hear rumors of ghosts and goblins and such. But honestly, I don’t know if they’re rumors really.”

“You think this place is haunted?” I asked.

“I don’t know. It’s an eerie town. You can make a decision on your own.”

We kept walking and talking about life.

“So (Y/N) why did you move to our little town of Hawkins, Indiana?”

“My dad got a new job. Not sure what he does to be honest but I didn’t have much say in where we went.”

“Well, I’m happy he brought you here.”

“Oh yeah Munson?”

He led me up a pretty big incline.

“Yes princess.” He smiled as he grabbed my hand.

“Careful.” He said. “It’s rocky.”

My heart was thumping out of my chest. I’ve known this man all of two hours and I didn’t want him to let me go. He led me to a beautiful lake surrounded by large rock sculptures.

“You know, Jason really gives you a bad name.” I said. “You weren’t what I was expecting.”

“And what were you expecting?”

“A wierdo rock star with a God complex who possesses his victims into falling for him.” I chuckled.

“And what do you think of me now?”

“You’re a weirdo rock star with a God complex who charms his victims into falling for him.” I laughed.

“You weren’t what I was expecting either sweetheart.” 

“Oh yeah Munson? What did you expect?”

“A stuck up brat who does anything to get what she wants.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. 

“And now?”

“A beautiful soul who doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

“Wow, you’re dead on.” I smiled.

He led me to a rock landing where we sat and talked more.

“Favorite color?”

“Black.” Eddie said as if it was the most obvious answer, which it kind of was. “And you?”

“It’s “(Y/F/C).” I smiled.

“And what is that face for?” I questioned.

“A pretty color for a pretty girl.” 

“You really have a way with words Munson.” I couldn’t stop blushing. 

“Well, maybe I can persuade you to go on a date with me next week.”

“You wanna go on a date with me?”

“More than anything in the world darling.”

“I’d love to.”

“Then a date it is my lady.” He smiled wide. 

“I think it’s past my bed time.” I yawned. “See you tomorrow?”

“Do you want me to walk you home?”

“Eddie, I’m fine. It’s less than a 10 minute walk.” I smiled.

He grunted as I started the journey home. Half way to my destination, I felt sick. Not nauseous or feverish, but love sick. I wanted to kiss Eddie and thank him for making my first night in town memorable. I walked back through the woods but couldn’t find Eddie. I heard a noise and hid behind a tree.

It was Eddie and Chrissy. 

“Are you fucking kidding me?” I whispered.

I couldn’t hear much of what they were saying but for some reason, I had a pit in the bottom of my stomach. Were they together? 

“Fuck this.” I whispered. 

They seemed to be flirting pretty hardcore. I had no right to be jealous, right? He asked me on a date yet here he was with another girl at 10:00 PM. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and started going home. Then, I stood and thought for a second. I turned around and went towards the party. 

The next day I walked into school and was met with Eddie waiting at my locker.

“Hi pretty lady.” He said. “Wanna maybe get some dinner tonight?”

“Oh yeah. Uh, tonight doesn’t work for me.” I smiled as I cut him off. “I have plans”

“No problem. Still on for next week right?”

“I can’t.” I said as I closed my locker.

Jason came up and stood close behind me.

“Is this freak bothering you?” He asked.

“No, it’s okay Jason.”

“Whoa. What is this?” Eddie asked.

“My family dinner ended early last night so I met up with Jason at the party. We got to talking and decided to hang out a bit.” I explained. 

“Which is none of your fucking business freak.” Jason said.

“How could I be so wrong?” Eddie asked. “Guess everyone in your group is the same. Didn’t think the jocks could pull such a cruel fucking joke.”

Eddie was clearly angry as he stormed off.

“What was that?” Jason asked. 

“Nothing.” I sighed.

“Seems like the weirdo has a crush on you. Make sure you don’t fall for his sadistic sex spells.” Jason laughed.

Jason grabbed my hand and walked me to class. During lunch I walked into the cafeteria and went to sit with my friends.

“Chrissy.” Jason asked as she sat down. “Where did you go last night? You were there one second and disappeared the next.”

“I had to get home. School night, ya know?” She smiled.

I sat there staring at her angrily. I snapped out of it when Jason called my name. 

“(Y/N), wanna go for a drive tonight?” He asked. 

“Sure.” I smiled.

I looked across the room and made eye contact with Eddie.

I quickly looked away. 

“Chrissy, can you come to the bathroom with me?” I asked.

She smiled and stood up. We walked to the bathroom and I confronted her.

“Why did you seriously leave the party last night?” 

“I had to go home.” She started fidgeting.

“Chrissy. I saw you.” I whispered.

She lost all color in her face.

“What... what do you mean?”

“I saw you in the woods with Eddie.”

“You must be mistaken.” She stuttered.

“Chrissy!” I said sternly. “I was with him before you got there. I came back to... discuss something we were talking about and I saw you. I left before anything happened.”

“(Y/N), you don’t know what you’re talking about.” She snapped. “Stay out of my business.”

“Are you ashamed of him?” I asked.

“Seriously (Y/N), stop.”

“I’m your friend Chrissy. Please.”

“We just met yesterday (Y/N)! You don’t know shit!”

She ran out of the bathroom and I broke down. I fucked up like I always do. Lunch was still in session so I quickly ran to my locker to get my stuff for the next class before anyone could see the tears streaming down my face.

“(Y/N).” Eddie said as he approached my locker. “Are you okay?”

“Leave me alone.” I cried. “I don’t want to talk to you.”

“(Y/N), you’re not like them. Why are you doing this?”

“Maybe Jason was right. Maybe you are a freak.” I said as I looked at him. 

He was speechless.

“You play games with people’s minds. I don’t know how you did it or why but I don’t want to talk to you anymore.”

“I didn’t play games.”

“I saw you last night with Chrissy.”

The New Girl (Pt.1)

Here’s a fun little fanfic of Eddie Munson :) Enjoy!

It was my first day at Hawkins High. I got through my morning classes with ease but was extremely anxious for lunch. I haven’t made any friends and wasn’t really ready to be branded a loser just yet. 

I took a deep breath before walking into the cafeteria. I looked around and immediately started to panic. I scanned the room frantically until I made eye contact with a curly haired boy.

I don’t know what it was. Did he see the panic in my eyes? Did he realize I had no idea what I was doing? Honestly, I don’t know what was going through his head let alone my own. We stared at each other for another 5 seconds before a tear streamed down my cheek. Clearly the anxiety of being alone got to me. As I was about to turn away, the frizzy haired boy jumped on the table.

I don’t know if I was confused or amused, but either way I couldn’t help but laugh. 

As I was about to walk over to this mysterious ball of joy, I was interrupted by another girl. 

“Hi!” The girl smiled. “I’m Chrissy!”

She had the brightest smile and the bubbliest personality. 

“Hi.” I stuttered. “I’m (Y/N).”

“I was in your math class this morning. I was new a couple years back and I know it’s nerve wrecking. Wanna eat lunch with my friends and I?”

“Oh wow. That would be amazing! I was so afraid I would be eating alone.”

“Not on my watch.” Chrissy smiled.

I followed her to a table full of varsity jacket wearing, attractive boys. I blushed as one of the players stood up to greet me.

“Hello.” He said almost breathlessly. “I am Jason.”

As he went to sit down, we heard commotion across the room. The cute curly headed boy was talking to his friends energetically.

Jason stared for a while until the boy stood up from where he was positioned next to his younger friends. Jason and the boy made eye contact and I could feel the tension between them.

I was immediately taken back. This boy seemed so innocent and kind. What made him a freak? His tattoos? His eccentric style? I watched the interaction and still couldn’t figure it out.

Jason sat down again and sighed deeply before turning his attention back to me.

“So, I didn’t catch your name.” Jason smiled.

“I’m (Y/N).” You whispered.

Jason kept a close eye on you the rest of lunch. The group talked about basketball and cheerleading. I was just happy to not be sitting alone. I discovered quickly that I was in the “cool” group. Or at least that’s what most people would call us. I was never in the cool kids club so I wasn’t going to do anything to ruin it.

I continued eating lunch but couldn’t help looking over at the cute weirdo. 

“Hey (Y/N), wanna come to our championship game tonight?” Jason asked.

“Um, sure!” I smiled. “What time?”

After discussing the game and tonight’s plans, the bell rang and we all went on our way. School came to an end and I decided to walk home and explore the town. I found a cute path from school through the woods that lets out right by my house. 

I found a secluded spot and stopped to take in the sights. I heard a sound behind me causing me to turn around. I wish I could say I was anything but scared shitless.

“Whoa!” It was the curly headed boy.

“Fuck man!” I screamed.

“Sorry to scare you.”

“Did you follow me?” I asked rather rudely.

“Wow, one lunch period with the jocks and you’re already convinced I’m a freak huh?”

I immediately felt bad.

“No. I’m sorry. I just, I just wasn’t expecting anyone to be out here.” I sighed.

He took a seat at the abandoned lunch table.

“Welcome to Eddie the Banished Munson’s secret lair.” He smirked. “Take a seat.”

He intrigued me so I took a seat across from him.

“I’m (Y/N).” I smiled. 

“I’m glad that you’re smiling.” He said.

“Should I be frowning?” I asked confused.

“No, not at all. It’s just at lunch this afternoon when you first walked in.”

“Right.” I whispered as I put my hair behind my ear. “I was just extremely nervous.”

“Why nervous?”

“It’s my first day here and I wasn’t ready to be a loser yet.”

He jumped out of his seat, scaring the shit out of me yet again.

“You? A loser?” He laughed. “Look at you!”

“What do you mean look at me?”

“You’re gorgeous!” He yelled.

I couldn’t help but laugh.

“I mean.... you’re an attractive girl.” He calmed himself down. “I thought we got another cheerleader to join the group.”

“Listen, Eddie, is it? I wouldn’t be caught dead in a cheerleading uniform.” 

“I think a uniform would suit you princess.” He winked.

“Oh yeah?” I played. “What occasion would a uniform work best? Hm? Role playing maybe?” 

He was completely caught off guard and just stared at me. I immediately had to change the subject.

“So, um. What are you doing out here anyway?” I asked.

“Oh yeah. Um, I just come out here to uh, to think.” 

Clearly he was lying but I wasn’t in the mood to pry. 

“Well, I leave you alone to “think”.” I smirked.

“You don’t have to.” He said rather quickly.

“I honestly have to get back home and get ready for tonight.”

“Oh, you have plans already miss popular?”

“Jason invited me to his game tonight.” 

“Ah, the infamous Jason.” He sighed.

“What’s up with you two anyway?”

“Mr. Popular Jock Dick is convinced that I run a satanic sex cult.” He explained. “I run the school’s DnD club, or as we call it The Hellfire Club.”

“So he calls you a freak cause you play DnD? That’s shitty.”

“He’s your boyfriend.” Eddie laughed.

“Yeah no.” I stated. “I don’t think he’s my type.”

“He’s everyone’s type. I’m used to it.” He said. “But listen, um, if you ever want to do something fun, I’d be happy to show you around.”

“I’d like that.” I thought hard and came up with a way to please both parties. “I have to go to the championship game tonight like I promised but I can skip the after party and we can meet up.”

“Are you sure? You don’t wanna get drunk with the popular kids and get felt up by a dick head?”

“Shut up Eddie.” I laughed. “We’ll meet back here after the game.”

‘Yes ma’am.” He said.

After I walked away, I turned back to see what he was doing. I am really happy I did.
