Chapter 6

Birds wind

I look at the Robin feather. I looked at Jason,"we need to go, now!" Jason ran to the car and got the car started. I told Amber that we need to get going. When we got in the car, I felt my stomach turning. Amber pulled out his phone. Amber phone had an app on it. In the app you could find your family Location and that is how we found out where his uncle is. We gave Jason the location and he drove there. I don't know if it was us or him but he drove past 2 red lights. When we got there, me and Amber got out of the car. When we closed the car door Jason drove off without saying anything. "YOU JERK!" I said when he just drove off. I looked around and I saw a very old lady and she was nitty a scarf. After she was done she cut the string. I forced on Amber. He looked at his phone trying to find his uncle, until a man sorted out loud, "LOOK OVER THERE!" There were a hundred or maybe even more than hundreds birds, all around the building. 

I looked at Amber and he looked terrified. "What if my uncle is up there?" He said With fear in his voice. I grabbed Amber's hand and ran to the building. We went inside and found the staircase and went up. I opened the door very quietly and hid behind an air vent. Me and Amber sat there hiding and listening.

"So brother, who is the Golden Child now?" Said a former voice. "Dad?" I looked over to Amber with a look of insecurity and fear. "What?" I said. I picked my head around and saw Professor Gears holding Amber Uncle by the shirt. I looked over at Amber Uncle and saw him all beaten up. Cuts and brushed up. Amber Uncle was bleeding a bit and looked very tired. "Was this what he was planning?" I said to myself. Then it hit me that Professor Gears is Amber's dad. But why was he living with his uncle? I listen in more. "What are you talking about?" Amber Uncle said. "I'm talking about when we were growing up. You were mom's and dad's favorite child. The Golden Child some of them would say, but when you left home that day, they started treating me differently. It was horrible, you want to know what they did to me?" Professor Gears said with hattrick in his voice.

"They would hit me with everything I did wrong. One day, I couldn't take it, so I killed mom and dad. Then I left the old town life, changed my last name, and came here, and I was all set to go." Professor Gears said. I felt sick. When he said that he killed his parents, he sounded so happy. It made me sick. I looked over to Amber and saw him curled up in a ball with tears running down his face. "Jim…I don't even know what to say." Said Amber Uncle. "Thank you, you're the best Jim, you're so smart, Jim." Professor Gears said. "NO! YOUR ILL, AND YOU NEED HELP!" Amber Uncle said. "I did myself a favor, brother. Mom and dad were the sick ones." Professor Gears said. "Ok, pale, I think I heard enough." Said a former voice. I looked over, and there was Red Hood. He had his gun pointing at Professor Gears. "Listen, pale, I'm feeling nice today, so I'm going to let you pick how you go out. I could bring you in warm, or I could bring you in cooled." Red hood said. "I pick none!" Professor Gears grabs the whistle that was around his neck, puts it in his mouth, and blows. It sounded like a bird. He pointed at Red Hood, and the birds started pecking at him. "NOW TO FINISH THIS!" Professor Gears grabbed Amber Uncle and was ready to throw him off the building until Amber ran at Professor Gears. "GET AWAY FROM MY UNCLE!" Amber yelled. Professor Gears throws Amber Uncle to the side and then picks up Amber. "Well, hello, son." Professor Gears said with a smile. "Put me down!" Amber yelled. "Glady." Professor Gears said as he threw Amber off the tall building. I didn't know what to do or to think. I felt hate and anger. I made a new friend, and now he'spll being taken away from me. I felt tears running down my face. All I remember is getting up and wanting to beat the crap out of Professor Gears. I got up and ran at Professor Gears, ready to throw a punch. Professor Gears grabbed my punch and pinned me to the ground. When he was getting ready to stand up, he made sure I could get up so Professor Gears put his foot on my chest so I couldn't get up. I'm not a stranger at all. So if I tried to get out of this situation, I couldn't, and I didn't try, and I was right I couldn't. I looked to my left and saw Professor Gears pick up Amber Uncle by the shirt. I wonder why Amber Uncle didn't run away. Was he hurt that badly to the point he couldn't run away? I heard gunshots on my right. I looked over, and it was Red Hood shooting at the birds. Professor Gears looked over at Red Hood, shooting the birds. "NO!" Professor Gears said. Professor Gears' face filled with rage. Professor Gears looked at his brother. "Good night, brother." Then Professor Gears let go, and the Amber Uncle fell off the building.

Chapter 5

unknown visitor

I got up and got ready for school. These past few days have been weird. Turns out there were no birds at Wayne Enterprise now I feel like I wasted Batman time. I walked down stairs and ate breakfast. Bruce had to go to work early because there was a problem he had to fix. After I ate breakfast.

Jason drove me off at school. When I was dropped off. I went to my homeroom class. I sat down in an empty seat, pulled out my notebook and just drew. I thought about the jester and what happened that night. The Jester seemed lonely. I wish I could talk to him more. The bell rang and everyone went to their seats. "Good morning everyone!" Miss Honey said. "I hope you had a good weekend. Today we got a new friend with us, why don't you come up and introduce yourself." Miss Honey said. I got up and walked to the front of the class, "Hi my name is Alex Wilson" I said.

I walked to my set and seat back down.

I didn't want anyone to know that I'm part of the Wayne family so no one would just want to be my friend because I'm Bruce Wayne's daughter. Classes were really boring. I tried paying attention but I couldn't. Too much was on my mind. Time went by, then I had Social studies, then math. Then PE, I like PE classes. It was fun, but there was a kid who would just look at me and wave. He seemed friendly but I wasn't sure. After PE there was science class. In science class the same kid in PE sat next to me. His hair was brown and he had hazel eyes. His hazel eyes reminded me of The Jester. When it was lunchtime I got my lunch box, walked to the lunch room and sat by myself and ate my ppj. "Is it ok if I sit with you?" I looked over and it was the boy that sat with me in Science class."Sure." I said.

He sat down. He had a Batman lunch box. "Nice lunch box." I said. "Thanks, he's my favorite superhero. I would do anything to meet him in person." He said looking at his lunch box. "You know Batman is pretty cool in person." I said without thinking. He looked at me with the same joy I saw before at the flower shop or maybe it was the hazel eyes throwing me off. "You met The Batman?" He said. "Yea, I met him a couple of times." I said. "Amber Gears." He said, putting his hand out. "Alex Wilson." I said, shaking his hand. My stomach started turning when he said Gears, but people can have the same last name even if they are not related.

"Hey Alex I know you're new here so if you have any questions just ask me." Amber said. It was nice having a new friend. I just hope that this will not end like how me and Jun stopped being friends. "Hey you!" I looked over and saw a girl with dark brown hair that was in braids and the ends of her hair were bleached. She wore heavy makeup. "Alex, right? So if you want you can sit with me and some other people if you want." She said, She was very friendly. "Thank you but maybe tomorrow?" I said. She was very surprised it was like no one declined her offer before. "Well ok then." Then She walked away with her face being a little red. "Holy cow, that was Clover Starway!" Amber said. "Who?" "Clover Starway, she is the most popular girl in school and the most kind and beautiful girl in school." Amber said with his face turning a little bit red. It made me wonder if Amber had a crush on Clover? 

After we finished eating lunch, me and Amber kept on talking until we got in the classroom. Amber invited me to go to the comic book store. I told him I would have to call my brother, Jason and ask if I could, because he's the one picking me up from school. I told Jason and he said he wanted to go to the comic book store as well. I told him sure. The thing is I have never been to a comic book store but my dad would tell me stories about the super hero mostly about Batman and how he would stop this group of thieves. It was almost like dad was there, maybe fighting alongside Batman. After school we got picked up and drove to the comic book store. We found a place to park and got out. We walked in and Amber looked everywhere and I just browsed around. I didn't find anything that interests me, but Amber found some comics that he likes reading. The comic book was about a hero who was very smart Technology and could hack into any. It seems like Amber looked up to this comic book hero. After the comic book store we drove to "Bod Auto mechanics". It turned out he lives with his uncle who was a Mechanic. We walked into the car shop. "Uncle I'm here!" Amber said. There was no response. Amber looked a little worried. "Uncle I'm here!" Amber said again. "Uncle?" He then ran into the area where the cars would be worked on. There were some tools on the ground and a hat with the word "Bob" on the hat. Amber picked up the hat and held it. "This is my uncle's hat, he doesn't go anywhere without it." He said. I looked around and saw a robin feather. "Jason?" I said looking at him. He walked over to me and I showed him the Robin feather. "He was here."

Chapter 4 a Red Rose for a Lovely Lady

After lunch we went home. I told Duke I needed to talk with him. "Duke, I need your help." I said as Duke looked over to me. "With what?" "I know this is going to sound crazy but I thought you could help me. I need to talk with Batman and I don't know how but maybe you may know because it's important." I said to Duke. "I have a couple of questions. 1. Why do you need to talk to Batman and 2. What is the game plan?" Duke asked. "It's hard to explain but I think there is someone who works at Wayne Enterprise with no good intentions. You know that bat Symbol that Lights up every night, do you know we're it comes from?" I said. "From the Gotham's police department, why?"Duke asked.

"What if we go there at night and ask to use the light?" I said. "I know it would be a dumb idea but I need to speak with him." I said. "You're joking, they're not just going to let anybody use the bat single for no reason." He said. "But there is a reason, and If I don't do something fast then someone may get hurt! Pls Duke I can't do this alone." I said. Duke looked at me, "I got a better Idea, I know a person who can get in contact with Batman tell me where and he'll be there." Duke said. That night I waited in the Abandoned apartment where I used to live. I Wait on the rooftop. 30 minutes have passed. There was no Batman. But there was Alarm that went off. It sounds like one of the jewelry stores. Maybe I could see Batman there. I ran down the street and made a left turn and stopped at the Jewelry stores. The police haven't shown up yet. Neither did Batman the doors of the jewelry store were broken into. I walked in the dark jewelry store. I remember I had a flashlight with me and turned it on. I looked around looking for clues. There was a Diamond ring that was stolen. The person who was here also smashed into the casing there was blood on the broken glass. He or she must have cut themselves when breaking the glass. I grabbed the broken glass and put it in a plastic bag. "Please tell me you're not the one who robbed the jewelry store." I looked behind me and saw Batman "no of course not I was here looking for you." I said, trying not to point the flashlight in his face. "So, you wanted to talk to me?" Batman said. "Yes, my name is Alex Wilson. I'm one of Bruce Wayne's adopted daughters. I was at Wayne Enterprise today and I met one of the Engineers but he was also a Scientist or something like that. He has 9 Robin's in a cage but the birds didn't look happy but Before I left I picked up a Piece of paper. It said, "Whistler, I think he's going to do something with the birds." I said to Batman, also Startled by the police sirens. The police have Finally arrived, one of the police cars Commissioner Gordon walked out. He walked over to us. "Hello Batman, is This the thief who robbed the jewelry store or?" Commissioner Gordon asked. "No, she is here to help." Wall Batman and Commissioner Gordon talked, I looked around.

I looked at the door of the jewelry store and there was a piece of fabric that was bright orange. "Hey I found something!" I said holding the piece of fabric. I gave Batman the piece of glass with blood on it as well as the fabric. "I found that they may help us find the person who did it." I said.

I found it very strange that he or she just took the diamond ring and nothing else so it couldn't be any normal villain or crook.

I looked at the ground and saw a trail of blood. I looked at the blood and followed It.

I followed it to a flower shop. The door was opened a bit so I walked inside. I shined my flashlight and saw someone. "Hello?" I said pointing the flashlight at the person hiding behind a bouquet of flowers. He peeked his head out like a child that was filled with curiosity. "You're the one who took the ring. You cut your hand on the glass. I want to help you." I said as I walked closer to him. "I just want to help." I said. He slowly walked over to me. He looked my age, He was wearing a jester's outfit the color ware Purple and bright Orange, he had green hair. His skin was very pale and he had hazel eyes. "What is your name?" I said. "I'm The jester." He bows like he was bowing to some queen.

"Can I see your hand?" I asked, at first he did want to give me his hand, maybe because of the pain when he hit his hand on the glass.

I told him I would never hurt him and I wanted to help him. He finally gave me his hand.

I looked at his hand and there were Multiple cuts on his hand. It didn't look like he needed stitches but it needed to be disinfected and bandaged up. I walked to the counter of the flower shop and behind the counter was a first aid kit. I took the first aid kit and walked over to him. I gestured to him to sit next to me. He sat down and gave me his hand. "This may hurt a bit." I took the cotton ball and put rubbing alcohol on the cotton. When I put the cotton ball on his hand he yelled in panic. "YOU LIE TO ME, YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T WANT TO HURT ME!" Hr said with Tears running down his face, I didn't understand why he lasted out like that, but then it hit me. He must have been born on the street. There are different tips for homeless people but he must have been living on the streets since birth. That is why he didn't understand. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I hole up the bottle. "This is rubbing alcohol, it helps clean the cuts on your hand, then pain will go away soon." I said. He looked at his hand and walked back to me and sat down and gave me his hand again. I disinfected the cuts and bandaged the cuts. I got up and put the first aid kit back where I found it. He looked at me with joy in his eyes.

"Oh thank you! You're a miracle of wonders!" He said as he hugged me. He picked a rose off a bouquet of roses and kneeled and gave me the rose. "A Perfectly beautiful rose for a perfectly beautiful girl!" He said. I didn't know what to think. "Thank you." I said. He also gave me the ring as well.

"Until you meet again, miracle of wonders. Oh and before I go." He said, kissing my cheek and then he ran away. "Did he just kiss me!" I said to myself. I looked at the ring and the Diamond wasn't there. "Dang it." I said. I walked back to the jewelry store where Batman and Commissioner Gordon were still there. I gave Batman the ring. "I found the Person who stole it." I said. "Are you ok?" Batman said, looking at the ring.

"Yea, I'm fine." Puting the rose that The Jester gave me in my pocket. "The Diamond is missing." Batman said. "Yea, he took the Diamond." I said. When The investigation was over one of the police officers drove me home. I thanked him and went home. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a cup and filled it with water. I walked to my room and put the red rose in the cup and placed it near my window. I wonder who The Jester was, and If he is someone I could trust.

A Robin Story

Chapter 2 One Last Fight

I packed some stuff, Jun was going to get herself killed. Jun was going to one of the fight clubs they held at random places. In the fight club there is one rule: try not to kill people, but some people have died and I didn't want Jun to be one of the people who got killed. I walked over to an abandoned wrestling stadium, because it was going to be held there. I had to pay the guy at the front 5 dollars to get in. When I got there I looked around there were crooks everywhere, I looked at a Plat forum and there stood the joker. Sometimes the villain of Gotham will come to the fight club, but when the joker is there that is when the choice happens. I think it was the last round, Jun was up there with a kid who looked my age. I received him from the first time I went to one of these, he was up against someone younger than him and it wasn't a pretty site. I ran to the ring and yelled Jun's name. I called a time out, and got in the ring. I ran to Jun and hugged her, "What were you thinking!" I yelled at her. She said there was prize money for the winner and she wanted to win so we could go somewhere nice to eat since it was my birthday. "I don't care about my birthday, you are more important to me than my birthday." I said to Jun. I got up and told everyone that Jun will not be fighting. No one was happy about it. The joker came on to the ring. "Is that so?" He said. "Yes." I replied. "Well we can't do that, a lot of people were hoping for a show tonight." The joker said, he looked out to the crowd of crocks and yelled. "Isn't that right people!" The crowd was shouting different things but it sounded like that was yes, but I couldn't let Jun fight. I looked at Jun "Jun what I want you to do is, I want you to go to the hideout. I'll be home soon I promise." Jun looked at me,"NO! I want to win, I can fight him." She said, "Go home you already have enough problems for me today." I know she was going to start an argument, I gave her the look I give her when she is like this. She backed off and looked ticked off and left. I took off the trench coat Jun gave me. "I'll give you a show." The joker got off the ring and went to the Plat forum he was on early. The joker counted down to 3. When the joker counted down to 3, we began to fight. I remember this guy fights Style, he tries to Dodge as much as he can and when his opponents are tired he takes them down or worse kills them. I threw a punch and missed. The boy looked at me, paying attention to my fight style. I tried to pay attention but the crowd yelling was throwing me off, it was difficult to pay attention to the boy. The boy was going to hit the side of my face but I blocked it just in time. I focused on the boy's arms when he threw punches.

He threw a punch, and I dodged it and kicked him off balance, he got up and threw another punch. I tried catching his punch but failed horribly. 10 minutes went by and I kicked him off balance and he fell to the ground. I looked into his hazel eyes. He didn't have any fight left. I was done with this and was getting ready to get out of the ring until the boy kicked me in the back. I fell to the ground. "Sorry, if I ruin your pretty face." The boy said. He got ready to punch me in my face, until the guy I paid 5 dollars to get in here came out and yelled "THE COPS ARE HERE!" Everyone started running away, even the boy I was fighting. I ran to get my trench coat and looked up at the Plat forum we're the joker was and Batman was there. I ran to the trench coat but I was stopped. I saw someone's foot on the trench coat. I looked up and it was Robin. "Going some were?" Robin asked. "Out of here." I said we'll push Robin off my trench coat. I turned around to leave and bumped into Batman with a tied up joker.

Sometimes I wish I could be invisible. We got to the police station. I was put in the interrogation room. Batman walks into the room after a minute nightwing walks in.

"So why were you at the fight club?" Nightwing asked. "My friend was going to get killed and I took her place." I said. "Do you know how dangerous that is?" Batman said who looked unhappy. "Yes, I do. I saw someone get killed once and I told myself I would never go back there and my friend wouldn't either." I tried holding back my tires from remembering that night. I look at Nightwing, "next question?" I said. Batman looked at nightwing. "Nightwing you can leave, I'll take time from here." Batman said. Nightwing got up and left the room. Batman looked at me. "About the trench coat you had, it turns out the same kind of coat was stolen." Batman said, he gave me a folder in the folder was a picture of Jun stilling the trench coat. I look at Batman. "That my friend, her name Jun. Today is my birthday and she wanted to get me something so she stole it. I'm sorry about her and I know this isn't the first time but I tell her to stop but she doesn't." I said crying a bit. I didn't know why I was crying, maybe because Jun will never listen to me and I get blamed for it. Batman didn't look all angry, he looked sorry for me but you didn't know why he should feel sorry. Batman got up and left the room. An hour went by. Batman walked in the room. "We see that you had nothing to do with all this mess, you will be let go but someone has to go to jail. I know what he meant. I got the folder and wrote down an address on the folder. He looked at it and left the room. 2 hours went by and Nightwing walked in the room,"it's time to go." He said. "I know." I got up and walked out of the room. I walked past Jun who was handcuffed and saw me, she kicked the officer's foot and ran to me. "ALEX! what's going on, why am I here?" Jun said. "Going to jail for your mess that was blamed on me." I said to Jun. June looked at me and was ticked off. She yelled and shouted "you traitor! you ratted me out I thought we were The Runaways!" I didn't say anything and kept on walking with nightwing. I Started crying, who knew doing the right thing could really hurt someone. Nightwing walked me to a police car. I got in the police car and we drove to the Gotham orphanage. I got out of the car and the police officer walked me in. They got everything situated for me. I was back where it all started back when I met Jun and we became the runways. All I could think of is the memories I had at this place, all of the terrible ones. I was back at the orphanage again.

A Robin Story

Chapter 3. A Long Day

When I got to the orphanage no one was happy to see me, and I don't blame them.

They took me to the bedroom with everyone else, I lay on my new bed and didn't get much sleep. When I woke up they gave me a list of choices that were easy to do. When I finished all of my choices. The older kids got to have time to themselves. I wandered around the hallway. When I was walking I heard laughter. I looked all around me but no one was there. I didn't know what was going on, I didn't pay attention where I was walking and ran into someone. I looked up and I recognized their blonde hair and golden eyes, it was Sophie Omega. Sophie is one of those girls thinking there better than everyone else.

"Hi Sophia." I said with a fake smile on my face. "Oh hello rat." Sophie likes to call people names but rats, that was a new one. I got up and was going to leave so she wouldn't make things worse for me. "Hey rat, where are your little friend?" Sophie said. I just walked off without saying anything. A couple of minutes went by and we had play time, or recess as some people say. I stayed in a corner of the room away from everyone, Sophie came over, "hey rat." Sophie said with a smile, I got up and left the room I walked over near Mrs Crow office then someone walked out of the room. It wasn't Mrs Crow. We made eye contact. "Hello there" said the person who walked out of Mrs Crow office. "Hi." I said. Mrs Crow walks out of the office "oh don't pay any Attention to her Mr Wayne, she is nothing but trouble." Mrs Crow said. They walked over to where the children were playing. Mrs Crow Wasn't wrong I was nothing but trouble. I went back to the bedroom and lay down and tried to get some sleep. One of the caretakers walked into the room and told me to pack your stuff. I tried asking why but she didn't say why. I didn't have much, just my dad Wedding ring. I remember when Jun realized I had a real kr gold ring she wanted to sell it, walked with the caretaker and she walked me to Mrs Crow office. I opened the door, and there stood

Mr Wayne with a smile on his face and Mrs Crow with a Discuss look on her face.

"Alex, Mr Wayne Wanted you to be part of his family" said Mrs Crow. I didn't think this was real. It didn't make sense but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to seem ungrateful. "Thank you Mr Wayne." I said, trying to smile. We were about to leave until Sophie came running to me and hugged me. "I'm so glad you found a home to go to." Sophie said out loud. "See you soon rat." Sophie Whisper in my ear. She let go of me and we left the orphanage. We walked to a car with a person holding the car door open. "Thank you Alfred." Mr Wayne said and then he got in the car. My dad told me that saying please and thank you is the good thing to do so I thanked Alfred and got in the car.

Mr Wayne and I sat in silence for a minute until Mr Wayne asked what my hobbies were.

I told him I like painting. I painted a lot when I was little. Mr Wayne listened to me talk. I try not to say a lot because I know this wouldn't last for long. The car stopped at a house, a big house. I got out and walked to the door, Mr Wayne opened the door. Inside the house was dark until Mr Wayne turned on the lights. "Surprise!" a bunch of people yelled. There was a banner with the word Welcome home, two people holding an Inedible cake. One of the people holding the cake let go of the cake and ran Towards me. The cake fell Making mess. "Sorry Alfred." "It ok Master dick, I made a Spare cake In case this would have happened". Alfred said.

Alfred left and so did someone else Probably to clean up the mess.

Everyone started Bombarding me, and I didn't know what to do. All I wanted to do is to run away and get Jun out of prison and we can be the runways again, but knowing her she wouldn't let that happen.

Dick told everyone to not bombarded me and they should probably start Sitting the table since dinner was going to be ready shortly. Everyone agreed and left.

"Welcome home Alex." Mr Wayne said with a smile. "Let me show you to your room."

We walked up some stairs and took some turns then we got to my room.

Mr Wayne opened the door to my new room and it was nice. It looks better than an Abandoned warehouse. I thanked Mr Wayne Again. One of the boys walked down the hall and said dinner was ready. I went to wash my hands and walk down stairs to the Dining room where everyone was sitting. I sat down at the empty chair and started passing out food. It felt like thanksgiving. Mashed potato, State, Turkey, and many more. While they were passing the food around, everyone introduced themselves. There was Damien Wayne, Tim Drake, Jason Todd, Dick Grasyon, Steph Brown, Cassandra Cain, and Duke Thomas. They asked a lot of questions, Mostly ice break questions.

Everyone was really kind. It's been a while since I only had Jun Ask company. Most of the time she was in a mood, but here I didn't feel judged. I felt happy. Until Mr Wayne was finished eating, he got up and said there was some work needed to be done at Wayne Enterprise. He left the room and when Damien was finished and got up and left the room, and slowly did the other did everyone else. was left alone. I helped Alfred do the dishes afterward I went to my room to sleep. It took me 5 hours to finally sleep and in a long time I finally had a dream. In my dream I was in a dark room, I looked behind me and I saw my father. "This is your Destiny Daughter." He said. "Your mother tried to keep you away from me but now you're here and you can take on the family business." I didn't understand. "Family business? Dad, What family business?" I said to him, he had the smile of a crook. Destiny? The only destiny I have is to fail. "You'll find out very soon my child." He said as he walked backwards and faded into the darkness.

I looked around but all I could see was the darkness, until I heard a voice that sounded very Familiar she was Screaming in pain. It was Sophie who was slowly turning Into gold. I ran to her. "What happened?" I said in a panic. "This is your fault Robin, all of it!" Sophie said as she fully turned into gold. "What is going on?" I yelled out loud to the void. I looked at my hands and I had black gloves on. "Surprise!" A bunch of people yelled as I turned around. There was a banner Welcome Hero painted over Welcome home, Nightwing and Red Robin holding a cake with the word on it Welcome to the Batfamily young one. Nightwing who was holding the cake let go of the cake and ran Towards me. The cake fell Making mess. "Sorry Alfred." Nightwing said. "It ok Master dick, I made a Spare cake In case this would have happened again."Alfred said. I looked over to the right of me and saw Batman. "You have a lot to learn, young one but I know you'll get the hang of it." Batman said. "What's going on? I mean really I don't understand." They all looked at me like I was crazy and I don't blame them for that but I truly didn't understand. I heard a bird singing it Beautiful melody. I looked up and it was Gotham sky. I looked all around me. I was in Gotham. I looked up and saw the bird that was singing its song. There was one bird, then two, three, next thing you know it was Flock of birds all singing their Melody. I looked at one of the buildings and there was someone. there. I wasn't sure who it was but the person pointed at me and the flock of birds flew at me. I jumped out of bed falling to the ground. "What the heck." I said to myself I got up and went downstairs to get a cup of water. I walked to the kitchen and there was Duke. "Hey Alex, what are you doing?" Duke said

"I had a bad dream and couldn't go back to sleep." I said. "Do you want to talk about it?" As he sits down on the floor and gestures for me to sit next to him. I walked over to him and sat next to him. "In my dream my dad was there. He had the smile of a crook and he was telling me that my mother tried to keep me away from him and now that I'm here I can take on the family business." I said, trying not to cry. Duke looked at me with a sorry expression. "Sorry that you had to see your dad like that in your dream, same thing happened to me once in one of my dreams." Duke said. It was nice having to talk to someone. "The thing is there was something else in my dream." I said. "Oh like what?" Duke asked. "I was in Gotham city and I had like a superhero costume or something, and there was someone on top of a building. I couldn't see who it was but they were wearing all black. There were a flock of birds singing and as the person on the building pointed at me and the birds attacked me." I said with Tears running down my face. Duke hugged me. "It's going to be alright, I'm here, I'll keep you safe." Duke said as he let go. I didn't tell him about Sophie or the Batfamily because I didn't feel like I couldn't tell Duke about that or that I shouldn't trust him. Duke got up and told me good night. A minute went by and I got up and wandered around the mansion. There was a door cracked open with light coming out. I walked closer and heard Bruce Wayne and Dick talking. "When will we tell her?" Dick said. "When the time is right, a lot happened to her this week and we should put that kind of stress on her." Bruce said. "Did you tell Damien?" "Of course I told Damien he wasn't happy about it at first, and I don't blame him." Bruce said. I walked backwards and bumped into a table. I ran upstairs and went to my room and hid in the bathroom. "What's going on?" I said to myself. With the dream, my dad, Sophie, the birds, The Batman and the other heroes, and with my destiny. I try to stay come but with everything happening these past few days I was losing it. I didn't sleep. In the morning Bruce knocked on the door saying to get ready because today is big. I put on a blue t-shirt and some Gen. I busted my hair and teeth and went downstairs. I went to the Dining room where everyone was waiting for me, I sat on an empty chair. Everyone talked-about things they liked as I ate my pancake. I looked at Damien drgsom and he kept on giving a I will kill you look. "Alex, today we are going to go to the new school that I picked to meet your new teacher, you will start school in 2 weeks. I also have a meeting to attend which will take two hours. After that we will go to lunch with everyone and you get to pick where we will eat." Bruce said as he finished eating.

I got up from my chair to get a sketch book and a pencil so I would have something to do wall I with. We got in. The car drove to my new school. We walked in and met my homeroom teacher Miss honey. She had honey blonde hair and baby blue eyes. She wore a real ruby red necklace. "Nice necklace you got there." I said. "Oh thank you my husband gave it to me." Miss honey said. Miss honey covered the ruby red necklace, it was almost like she was hiding something. After meeting the last of the teachers. Then we got in the car and drove to Wayne Enterprise. We got in and Bruce showed me to his office and told me to stay here. He had to go to one of the meeting rooms to talk with some people. I sat down on one of the chairs and drew. 1 hour went by I think and I didn't know what to draw next so I decided to wander around the building. I walked around for 10 minutes until I heard birds chirping. I walked to the door from where it was coming from and opened it. Inside looked like a lad. In the corner there was a test tube and paper on the desk. In one of the corners was bird seeds with 9 birds in a cage. I walked closer to the cage and they were all Robin's. "You know it was hard to get thoughts right." I turned around and there stood a man who had brown hair and worn glasses. "Aren't they fascinating, no matter where they are they never shut up." The man said as he bangs one of the cage and the Robin in the cage starts quivering in fear. "I don't think we have met Professor Gears, I'm one of the Engineers but I am also a Scientist." He said With a grin on his face as he held out his hand. "Alex Wilson, Bruce Wayne's daughter, it's nice to meet you." I said as I sack his hand. His hands were cold, not ice cold but just cold. "Professor Gears, please tell me you haven't been feeding these Robin bird seeds; they eat Fruits and worms." I said, worried for these little guys. "Oh of course not that when I had jun she was juncos. She is no longer here but I think you know how things are." Professor Gears said. I didn't have anything to say. I walked over near the door to leave until something caught my eye. I picked up a paper and Professor's Gears snatched it out of my hands. "I think it's time for you to leave. Now!" His once happy personality turned to anger. I left the room and walked back to Bruce's office and sat down in one of the chairs. "You ready Alex?" Bruce said as he walked in the room. "Yea, sure."

A Robin Story

Chapter 1. A Snowy Night

"I am a runaway child, I knew that from the start no one would love me. A misfit, destined for the world to be against me." I said "Are you done monologuing, nerd?" I look over and see Jun with a smile on her face. "The only nerd here is you." I said happily. Me and Jun have been best friends for 2 years. We ran away from the foster program and we knew it was us against the world. "Well when you're done I got a present for you." I walked over to her with excitement on my face.

"you remember it's my birthday!" I said in excitement. "Why would I? You're my best friend, a sister from another mother, remember where The Runaways." She said as she handed me a box that was rapid in newspaper and the only thing holding it together was a piece of string. I looked at the box and then looked at her and gave her a huge and opened the present. I opened the present and inside the box was a dark trench coat. It looked very new. "Jun please tell me you didn't steal this." I said looking at her with a very disappointed look, this isn't the first time she did this but at this point I was used to her doing this kind of stuff. "I wouldn't say stealing it's more like borrowing it besides you been wanting this for a while and I got for you why can't you be happy." She said With a set tone in your voice. I looked at her "well you're not wrong, thank you Jun I love it!" I said.

I told Jun I was going to go for a walk and I would be back shortly but I was going to the abandoned apartment where I grew up. They couldn't. find anything, no clues, and they try to interrogating the crooks, but they didn't talk not even a interrogation from the Batman and they still won't talk it's like they weren't afraid of death I walk in the apartment and it was extremely how it was when I was last here I walked In the kitchen and sat on the kitchen floor thinking about random stuff. Until there was a crash I got up and looked at the kitchen window and it was broken. I look behind me and on the wall it was one of the batarang Batman would use I took it off the wall and ran over to the window and looked out and see that Mr. Freeze and Batman were fighting.

I realized I left Jun alone. I ran out of the apartment building. And tripped on snow, I got up and I saw Batman on the ground not moving, is he taking a nap or something I thought to myself, but he wasn't the Batman was down. I needed to help him somehow until I remembered. I pull out the batarang and throw it at Mr. Freeze and Mist by an inch. Mr. Freeze looked over at me, "who the heck are you?" Mr. Freeze said. I looked dead straight in Mr. Freeze's eyes and said, "Your worst nightmare!" I don't know why I said and I don't know why I'm not running away but I didn't. Mr. Freeze laughed at what I said, as he was laughing. I got some snow and put it in a snowball and threw it at him, the snowball hit his helmet. He stopped laughing and looked a bit tick off. He pointed his Freeze gun at me and I still did not run away. I stood up straight and Stand My Ground. "You want to play with ice, why not be ice." He said ready to turn me to ice. Mr. Freeze got hit with a batarang and Batman came at Mr. Freeze on his grappling hook and kicked Mr. Freeze.

Mr. Freeze went flying into the apartment building.

Batman looked over at me,"Get out of here it's not safe!" He yelled as he throw another batarang at Mr. Freeze. I tried running but I couldn't. As Mr. Freeze and Batman fought, in my mind I felt like I had to do something. I looked around trying to figure out how I could help, I looked around but I saw the batarang throw, I ran over to it and got the batarang and throw it behind Mr. Freeze. he looked Behind him and saw me, as he was distracted by me. Batman threw another batarang that had a built Bolas in the batarang. Mr. Freeze was defeated. Batman walked over to me and he didn't look happy. "I told you to leave, it wasn't safe for you to be here and these aren't toys, they're weapons and should only be used by me!" He said angrily. "I saw you on the ground and I couldn't just stand there, I had to do something." I said. He looked even more angry than before. "You were in a dangerous area, you could have gotten hurt or worse." Batman said. "Whatever." I mumbled under my breath. I started walking off to go to Jun, as I walked off I looked in the corner of my eye and saw Batman leaving. Looked like there was another problem or a villain he had to stop. I walked in a hideout and Jun wasn't there. I looked at the kitchen table and there was a letter from Jun, which is not a good sign. I read the letter Jun wrote and began getting some stuff because Jun was going to get herself killed.

A Robin Story

Everyone has a story, a story of tragedy, sorrow, anger, hate, sadness, regret, destiny, fear, death,  and exception.

Everyone has their story to Tell, even if they are Robin.

Alex Wilson lives with her parents in Metropolis, her mom who was in the army, and her dad who was a stay at home dad. They were a happy family, well they used to be a happy family. 

Her mom passed away due to incurable illness, mr. Wilson couldn't find a good paying job in metropolis, so they had to move to his hometown Gotham city.

 Mr. Wilson was very uneasy about moving here because he wanted his daughter to live a good life that he never got to have growing up. 

He was scared for himself as well because If some of his old friends knew he was back it wouldn't be good.

Years have passed. 

Mr. Wilson found a good paying job to Live in a small apartment. 

Mr. Wilson is very clever about going out and about without his old friend finding out his back in town, but everyone knows it's take one slip up for the jingle box to come Crashing Down. 

Mr. Wilson was walking to his work when Mr. Freeze attacked. 

Mr. Wilson was about to run away from the area, until he saw a mother and her child about to be Frozen by Mr Freeze!

 He ran to them and got them out of the way just in time and got them to safety. 

Mr. Wilson thought to himself, he needed to get the other innocent people to safety because he knew that his wife would do the same thing if she was still here, so he did. 

Mr. Wilson saved 5 people that day but in the process his old friend saw him, now they know he's back in town.

 3 days had passed since the incident.

Alex and Mr. Wilson was at home and Alex was going to go to bed. 

She stopped to hear loud banging at the door. There were 4 voices at the door yelling saying to open the door Alex was scared to see what was going on. All she could hear was the door being kicked down and a loud sound. Alex took a step back but accidentally knocked off a lamp off a table. The 4 Intruders opened the door to Alex's room but no one was there except for an open window. Alex took the fire exit stairs and the Intruders released this and chased after Alex. She ran around Gotham city slowly running out of breath. Before the Intruders could catch her, they were stopped by someone who was vengeance, someone who was the knight, someone who was called Batman! Batman caught the Intruders and saved Alex Wilson from harm. But not all stories have a happy ending. 10 days later Alex would have to intend her father's funeral, it was a sad day she was the only one who intended that funeral.

That day, Alex Wilson made a promise to herself that she would find the person who killed her father, and bring him to justice.
